Daily Update: Perpetual Tent - Week 11, Day 6
Maintenance Notes:
- Auto Destroyer and African Buzz got their weekly BRIX foliar on my way to bed this morning.
- Added about two liters of water to the LOS SWICK. Also top watered just a smidgen to help work in the top dressing of malted Barley Grain I applied the other day.
- Removed the dead-in-the-water Dark Devil Auto and composed my email to Herbies to see how they want to proceed. I'm placing another order within a week, with more than one of those Dark Devil seeds included. I need to make sure I always have one, or possibly two in process at all times. I'm already missing that zippy, trippy high.
- Lifted the oscillating fan up to canopy level. **Cannabelle left a post yesterday somewhere dealing with air movement and its importance to healthy and frosty cannabis that I think I'll repost here later. I did blog it if anyone wants to chase it down before then.
- Watered Carnival.
- Added a small fan to the Tiny Closet. I'll be replacing it with a larger one later today.
- Spent some time just staring. And smelling the flowers. Yum!
Let's take a quick look, eh?
African Buzz, at Day 72, is beginning to fade around the edges, but she still has this spikey thing going on that doesn't want to stop.
Auto Destroyer, a day ahead at 73, and I'm thinking the top is definitely done, done enough that it's beginning to make me nervous, because what's underneath still needs a bit more time. I'm considering chopping off the very top within the next couple days and let the rest ride to the end, which isn't that far off.
Cheese Candy, also at Day 73, and showing the kind of trichomes development I'm not seeing yet on the Kit girls. Remember back when I didn't think she'd catch up? Hahaha! She'll show us!
There's this growth down inside, just building and frosting away to beat the band. I thought about cleaning it up a bit down there, but it all looks like I should stay the hell away, so I did.
The LOS seedlings in the Perpetual Tent. Still being hopeful about the Buddha Tahoe OG.
The HB Kit seedlings in the Perpetual Tent. The New Year's Bag Seed has yet to break through, and I removed the Dark Devil Auto no-show.
that's so wrong. I dug the seed out and it cracked, it just didn't sprout. I was getting ready to take a picture for Herbies and dropped it on our living room rug, a nicely variegated brown that instantly camouflaged it. That puppy's gone for good now.
I'm much happier with three cups under those lights. I may just make another up if I want to do more than 6 plants in a starting run.
I opened the the tent this morning and it was a blistering 88 degrees in there. WTH??? I turned the fan all the way up and left everything open until it fell to more reasonable temps. Then I reset it at just a bit more speed. Still well below 80% power.
One last look in before closing it up. I'm happier with the fan there.
The Tiny Closet
All's well in the Tiny Closet. Growing nice, tight nodes. Just what we want to see.
It's 2PM. It's going to take some getting used to, living in odd time zones. I still haven't had anything to eat. So I took care of the movement, took care of the gardening, got the posting done but neglected to remember that I need to eat!
Easy enough to rectify.
You all have a wonderful day. Thanks for stopping and brightening up my little yard. Get yourselves out there and be joyful. I got two, not one, but two luncheon invitations for the next week scheduled just this morning. Go figure. It appears I do have a social life. Haha! I'm finally beginning to reconnect with friends that got lost a bit while we spiraled out of control over the past year. My life is steadily rebuilding.
Now, where's that pipe?
Food first Girl!!
Ok, ok. I hear you.
That's more reasonable.
