The Hexapus's Garden

Finished trimming, hurrah.
Actually she was a relatively easy one to trim. Most of the purple went with the sugar leaf, she's not nearly as dark as the PP was. I'll take some photos of the buds when they're dry, in better light,. and see how they look.

This PP sure looks nice. Kaiki selected this pheno from Bubba Kush line, so it's supposed to be heavy indica.

Thank you Canna, and Mondstern, o honoured visitors old and new. Red carpet is out. :adore: You're not late or early for anything in particular. Thanks for that tidbit Conradino. I have a few more of those Peyote Purple seeds. I actually sprouted another one for the next hexapus crop but it stalled and died - poked its little sprout out and then changed its mind so I have sprouted a freebie called Lemon Venom in its place.
Quite a few seeds in that Cheese last night. I don't know who the father is and I've been tossing most of these seeds out that I've been getting lately. I think most likely the pollen is from the Thai Stick and I don't really want to subject myself to trying out all kinds of oddball long flowering strains. I'll save a few of these Cheese ones though - I thought I saw a dried up nanner. This is what the hexapus is/should be all about- running quickly through random freebie seeds and mystery strains and trying out new stuff without too much long-term suffering.
Once, for about three months of my misspent youth, circumstances (which cannot be detailed here further to protect the guilty) led to me having an unlimited supply of Froot-loops. I guzzled down billions and billions of them. Thankfully I was young and managed to live through it and eventually the supply chain broke, the links ran for cover and we all escaped pretty much unscathed but I sure don't eat Froot Loops anymore.

I harvested the Y Griega hempy. I think she's at 11 weeks (?) I keep forgetting the date. I'll try to reveg this one just for fun- I have a couple more of these seeds.

~Veg Room~

This is the state of the veg room. The perlite solo cups have the new hex strains and the little Panama is just in front of them somewhere. Some clones- Cheese, Mama Thai, Malawi, Thai Stick, P Chunk, the newly beheaded Y Griega in front. I lost the tags for two plants when repotting- pretty big ones too. I'm too busy and stoned to remember what they are. ;) First world problems I know.

My Mama Thai clones got old enough for me to start doing ph experiments on them, as promised back when I was having the wilty curly leaf problem (again) with my Mama Thai. That last MT was the one I harvested a couple weeks ago. She turned out well in flower but was looking bad for most of veg.
So Mama Thai Low has been fed and watered with a Ph of 5.2 for the last three weeks, and Mama Thai High has been at 6.2. Other than that they've been on the same program.

Mama Thai Low

Mama Thai High

MT Low has way larger leaves and is much more vigorous than MT High, and MT High looks like it's got the old curly syndrome.

Thanks Spitz. Yeah things are getting back on track from the early part of this journal where I had a few mishaps and almost all my clones were failing. Cloning rate still isn't great and the flower room is only half full but I'm happy with it. It's a wonderful thing having a bunch of new strains sprouting up.

I'm too busy and stoned to remember what they are.

Very nice! I appreciate a good stoner moment when I see one.

Wow! Love the high/low idea.
You're feeding at 5.2 and getting good results.
Is it possible that some strains have significantly different PH needs? I've never really run across that idea or thought in the forums before. hmmmmmmmmmmm.......

Beauty buds bud, great job as expected,, haha,, btw,, advanced nutrients has a 'perfect ph' nutrient formula that sets ph of the watering solution automatically, maybe you know of what I speak,, well, point is, their 'perfect ph' is 5.5. A fair bit lower than most recommendations I read around this forum, just sayin and curious,, cheers friends
