Wow, they really perked up!
For 4 days they really have. Myco hasn't even linked in yet. I would expect in about 3 more days that will happen.

Once new undamaged leaves grow out they should start to go.

The runt was so far gone I didn't think it would make it but it did.

Weird fun fact. The project that I was brought in on this week to fix/oversee brought me face to face with The King and Queen of Lesotho as well as the 2 Princesses.

NDA's stop me from saying more than that but he's a very cool dude. His level of education is astonishing. He's very humble.

He told me all about his family, the military coup in the 70's and early 80's, and how his Father and Nelson Mandela orchestrated the return of democracy to Lesotho. He loves Canada for how safe he feels. He also chuckled at the fact that I got to walk around in jeans and a tee shirt with sneakers on in a sea of suits. He found that hilarious.

I'm very used to mega millionaires and even billionaires but thats my 1st go with true royalty.

You never know what life has behind the next door that opens.

I had to google Lesotho afterwards to see exactly where it even was. I knew it was in the lower regions of Africa but not really where. Turns out it's a country locked completely inside South Africa and pretty much right where these genetics I'm growing from Table Mountain Sativa Co are from. The Drakensbug mountains run across one side of Lesotho.

How weird is that?

It was. My work isn't really work anymore. I retired a couple years ago but I cherry pick projects that look fun and only for and with lifelong colleagues, so it's really a bunch of old guys goofing around as we Getter Done.

Nothing went wrong at all so I literally did nothing all week but Meh.... it's a living.

Has anyone here played around with blogs? I was just reading a bit on them. They are actually really cool.

There are 2 kinds it seems, one type where the author is the only poster, and one where it's a community blog.

What do you guys think of something like this?

Lets use brix as a community blog, for example, then say set a rule that all your post is, is a picture of your refractometer reading and a brief description like say "OG Kush, Day 36 of Veg, brix=18" or something like that, and if someone wanted to discuss it they could either do it in here so everyone can see, or in private, or in their own journal, but the blog itself would slowly fill up with a collection of brix readings.

If I started it then it's my blog,

If Gidorah started it it's his blog. And so on.

Just keep it streamlined so all of us have collections of things for quick reference.

We could do it with training, bud shots, soil mixes, whatever stuff we wanted, but keep the blogs streamlined to just posts and likes, and discuss it here, or if it's a sip thing then over at Azi's to get the sippers perspective, that sort of thing.

You all could author them too and collect stuff. Cloning for example, if someone wants to start a clone blog we could have a community collection of all our cloning attempts all in one place, cloning only. Just no discussing it there. No comments just contributing posts. Use the like button for sure but don't spread the posts apart with discussion.

We all hang out so we could all have a blog or 2 too collect stuff in. We all just respect the entry rules that each sets. Even those rules we could kick around in here to get it how we like and as others join in we have it started with structure.

Organic sips, Azi could link it into his sip thread if he wanted, and only collect soil recipes for organic sipping to streamline his thread and not lose it all in between pages of sip pictures and general discussions. All the sippers could contribute. Just discuss it in sip club.

You set the posting parameters and then discuss things here or in sips club, or wherever, that sort of thing.

If we had a way to catalog Gee Spot we would have a good useable database, if we could catalogue sip club, again, a great useable database but both are loaded with general discussion. Stone's stuff, Keff's journals, they are all loaded with good stuff but they get watered down.

Then we just follow the blogs like they were journals and discuss them outside the blogs, but all contribute to the blogs any way we can, and now we all have places to store our stuff but in each others blogs. We could collectively cover a lot.

In a couple years it would be awesome.

Matt could start a Table Mountain Blog if he wanted, and just collect pics from satisfied customers. They could be discussed in his Table Mountain room.

We would all own our blogs, but we could all have a great resource that would be predominantly of the common interests that we share. Sips, swicks, autos, brix, seeds, curing, plant training, Los, organics, whatever.

I know there are threads on all these but none are streamlined to just a subject alone.

Collectively we would have an encyclopedia. The Encyclopedia of Weed🤣🤣.

You could duplicate post pics and such to wherever you would normally post to, but toss a copy into the corresponding blog too.

Thoughts? There may be a better way too.

Collectively we talk about a lot of stuff and post a lot of cool pics. Easy recall would be cool.

I'm surprised they haven't caught on more.

I'm going to start one on Mutants. I'll post a few Mutant pic's in it and see where it goes.

I like where you're going with this. So much good info to be shared. Where would you post your mutant thread here on 420?

Hmmm, it's actually pretty complicated. Let me post a post into it like a test and then we can all play with it. If we mess it up we can ask for it to be deleted.

So inside Gee's Collection of Mutant Weed Photos. is a sub blog of RVDV photos.

Click on "Table Mountain RVDV Polyploid Mutation" and its a blog on my plant.

If someone had a mutant OG Kush they could enter it as a sub blog pertaining to their plant and have some control over their subsection of my main blog.

It's actually pretty cool as I start to figure it out.

I asked admin to delete the whole blog so I can start it again, so if you guys want to post to it to see how it works feel free.

Ok so here is how it works, I think. The blog is called "Gee's Collection of Mutant Weed Photos."

Each entry done by anyone is their own blog on their Mutant inside Gee's Collection of Mutant Weed Photo's.

So when you start a blog you are actually starting a shell for sub blogs.

Then you get to decide if only you can contribute sub blogs or if it is open to the community.

Once inside the sub blogs you post posts identical to journal posts and limited to 10 photo's per post.

Had a visitor today.

A baby rattlesnake.

20240611_170251.jpg

The local snake guy lives just up the street from me so he came down and grabbed it for relocation.

They are abundant but endangered.

Abundant in my area, but endangered overall so I let the Snake Guy have them.
