I'll say!One cola? She's a generous plant!
Why not just use Mosquito dunks / bits whatever. Bacillus Thuringiensis will nuke the gnats properly. Diatomaceous earth sprinkled on surface of dry soil will kill any coming to the surface. What do you reckon @Gee64
have you tried cinnamon and does it affect your mycorrhizal fungi .
It would be a shame to kill it off trying to combat gnats

Good Morning fellow Growmies! Last night I pureed more alfalfa sprouts. I added the puree to 4 gallons of RO water and added 1 teaspoon of Rootwise microbes, BAS BuildAbloom 1 teaspoon per gallon, Agsil 16H 1/2 teaspoon per gallon, Big 6 Micronutrients 1/4 teaspoon per gallon, coconut water...www.420magazine.com
I would be careful, but there's only 1 way to find out. What do you reckon @Gee64

I would imagine so ,this is my first indoor soil grow so I haven't gone through flowering yet to see if they stick or not .I would be careful, but there's only 1 way to find out.
I keep my brix levels up so pests stay away. I'm not sure if brix helps with gnats or not, but I haven't had a run-in with the little buggers yet.
Do they get stuck in the trichomes?
Im still thinking it would impair fungi growth thoI wonder if cinnamon would work if you cooked it into the base mix? It is just tree bark, so it's carbon heavy. It should compost well.
Thats entirely possible. You need to be careful when reading what others post.Im still thinking it would impair fungi growth tho
It will be fun to see if there's indeed different fauna 20 feet up!I would imagine so ,this is my first indoor soil grow so I haven't gone through flowering yet to see if they stick or not .
I have found small ants dead on buds outside before
Up there he gets the seabird guano while it's fresh. I can't wait to see that sucker flower! Hopefully no kids notice it and poach it.It will be fun to see if there's indeed different fauna 20 feet up!

I harvested Shorty #2 today. It came in at 1089 grams wet trimmed.
Shorty #1 came in at 1015 wet trimmed yesterday, and weighs 639 grams today. Thats amazing that it lost that much in 24 hours.
Tomorrow I will weigh them both again.
The weird pheno with the mace head buds is still at least 2 or 3 days away from harvest, but maybe more too. The silly girl is tossing out new hairs everywhere, and her resin is really coming in. Hopefully she's got a week left in her.
With 2 plants gone I can get some better angles. Here is the whole plant.
Here are some heads.
And some better cola angles. Its a lanky pheno. These colas are 16-18".
Thats OK, she is the least resinous, so if she goes another week, it's a good thing. She's still spitting pistols
Looks beautifulThats OK, she is the least resinous, so if she goes another week, it's a good thing.
Here's the 4th plant. She's still at least a week away.
She's not as nuggy as the other 3, but she's got plenty of frost.
