Couple more things and I am set! I have 3 people trying to give me clones, too many strains to list at least 12... And I have some bag seed, and a ten pack of subcool jacks cleaner 2 reg seeds, 10 pack of subcool agent orange reg seeds...
This is by far harder then growing... It's the which ones shall I grow??? :grinjoint: :yahoo:

If I lived where you are I'd be going for trees! lol

Little autoflowers are uber stealthy tho. I plan to LST my outdoor plants from the start so they grow close to the ground and have them a couple of feet tall/long before they go outside. A week or so into flowering before they go outside will give them a head start. Especially the Kali as they take 14 weeks to finish up. The Kush I've got going now are 82 days into 12/12 and trichs are abundant but still mostly clear. They're coming down a bit at a time now tho and the buzz is good. :bong:

LOL Don't worry, I do that too! But my thinking with the autoflowers, is trying to get 2-3 different harvest times going. One early for the first batch of auto's. One middle for the normal Indica strains. Then a late one with the last half of auto's and any Sativa cross I use.

So far I have these beans ready for outdoor season:

10x Lowryder #2 x AK47 fem

10x Lowryder Diesel Ryder

5x Green House Seeds The Church Fem

5x TH Seeds A Train Fem

3x Big Buddha Blue Cheese Fem

3x Big Buddha CHIESEL fem

Plus a bunch of freebies from attitude. I am sure I'll buy more, plus add in misc. clones.

You talking about the Kush in your journal? Some of those pics you posted look absolutely tastey!! :yummy:

Thought you were trimming everything up though? Sorry, not exactly up to date. Trying to read through it, but I sneak peeks of the finished product from time to time! lol

I agree with MC, I don't think I'd do the bag seed yet. I went with clones for my first grow and it saved a several steps and of course I knew the sex before starting.

I'd avoid multiple strains in one grow, I can almost guarantee you'll be disappointed with the performance of some due to overcrowding. There are generally one or two plants that will never see the light, sorry for the pun! Doing single strains in a res will make life a lot easier. But you can do multiple res', I'm going to two plants per 5 gallon bucket.
 
Thanks for the advice guys... I already ruled out the bag seed, It's from my best friend and he is all butt hurt over me telling him, "that's not on the list to grow first"... ;)

As for the reg seeds I have... I grew outdoors and had 2 plots miles apart for male and female to grow up apart... Bag a few lower female buds with pollen... More cheap beans... :cheertwo:

This time, not so easy, I have 3 closets and one of them is NOT a male only closet for now! I will be making one somewhere apart from the ladies someday :dreamy:

Cab 1 mom and clones
Cab 2 veg
Cab 3 flower

So to wrap this drivel up. Yes I learned from a few of your pitfalls...

And the totes will have 3 plants per tote. :thankyou: {FPF! Sorry dude} and 3 per cab... for veg and flower! I will be growing 3 rooted clones of some type :hmmm: to flower then I will start 3 of another strain when I throw the first grow into 12/12 in 5 weeks are so... :yahoo: I have all kinds of pre game jitters :trance:

disclaimer: i do not have a background as a grower, i do have a background in science and engineering.

i read where light is bad for your roots. it is very easy to bend light, fiber optic cable is 1 example. another way is to use a stream of water. i can push light through a stream of water and make it bend, i see no reason why if you have a clear tube with water in it, and it is exposed to light, that the light will simply refract down the tube and into ur tote.

obliviously this isnt a big problem, but would it help to use black tubing to run from ur hub to ur cubes ... :peace:
