LOL, thats hilarious. Did anyone notice you doing it?
I was joking but I certaily had the urge, and one day, first Monday after a Saturday harvest, I really did come in the door from work and grab the jugs.
It is like post delivery blues a woman has when she has a new baby. You think WHAT DO I DO NOW?
What I do is burp my jars, clean up the mess and stay on line at 420 all the time sharing in everybody elses grow!!!!

I dont get that "post-mo-dorm" anymore cause I got so many grows going on that I can just take my focus off. But yah when I first cut my Deep Water Culture girls down, it was very sad and my closet looked SO! empty

No personal experience with this one..but my buddy bought one for his tank from walmart and he said it was wayyy to loud and we had to add big rubber feet to it to control the vibrations, but I noticed bigger bubbles than are in my tank with the standard one that comes with the SH system...

Its the one I use the most, Weedpipe. I have a couple of them that endured three or 4 grows. You can make a loop in the cord, and hang it on a nail from the cord and it is silent..and it pushes two stones at the same time!
On a hard floor, they vibrate and make noise. I have laid them on a sponge to quiet them, its the vibration that it is laying on, that can make noise, but hung from soemthing in the air, they make no noise.
It is CHEAP, and sort of low quality to most big growers, but for me, I like CHEAP and they do last a long time.
Roseman and C5, you guys won the day man! And thanks to both of you I just completed the first part of my first hydro harvest, and my house smells AMAZING!!!

This is the pump I use in all 4 tubs (10 gal tubs w/6 gal water). I have only had 1 quit working after 10 months of constant use. Lots of bubbles, but I do add a 2nd one mid-flowering - due to the large root mass. Mine seem very quiet, with 4 to 6 units running I hardy notice them. Plus you cant beat the price!
