The Chiefs White Widow & White Russian DWC

tap water here is 140 to 145 ppm.
I'd like to get a RO system but I hear those things are slow as crap and I've got a 55 gallon drum to fill

DAYUM a 55 gal drum huh. thatll take all day with an RO pump. check out page 6 of my journal and look at my meters reading in my tap water. that day i kept gettin consistant 28PPM readings over and over

Ok...on the breath...you said what what about who...sad news on my new plants...call myself misting and use the wrong bottle...it had full strength nutes in it..i got nute burns...should be ok...the ones that didn't burn was the AK and Pur haze...Got to lable my bottles...

Chief do you worry about pulling those lids off when the plant is mid flower and very heavy? I installed a simple drain because I was going to SCROG but now i may just lst. I have been changing just like you but I worry abour their weight and airstones getting caught in the roots later on

oh i know lol its a pain in my ass even with the simple way of doing DWC. its a learning process it keeps your mind working always watching how your plants react since their so sensitive in open water. id have my hands full with a 55 gallon res thats 10 times more than what i work with lol

ahhh man what a shitty feeling i hate when i burn the plants. well at least you have those 2 un harmed. i hope that AK never experiences any problems

My last grow was lacking in the root dept. i had a real bad root aphid infestation that ate away all my afgooeys roots basicially. then my master kush got the dreaded root rot and i had to snip alot of the mass from the roots. this round since the plants are alot bigger and lush than the last PLUS THE ROOTS ARE ALREADY BIGGER than my last grow even thru bloom im getting worried but i can handle it. scrog makes it difficult to change res's but LST i can just tape garbage ties to the lid and the plants stay down.

Actually, My Flo N Gro 55 gal system will be FAR easier to work with then the 5 gal bucket system I have going now. After my headcheese grow is done I am done with the 5 gal dwc system.

once you get your system dialed in its easy to find simple ways to do what you need to have done. my method is pretty easy but if you can get a pump to drain yours and not life a finger you deffinately have an easier method then me

Thats exactly what I did. Bought a sub pump and a garden hose for the grow room only. Will pump the old nutes out the window and onto my plants outside. I have a hose adapter in the bathroom and will use that to get water into the drum!

Its easer to clean a 5 gal bucket than a 55 gal drum..res should be cleaned once a week...

my rez change days are at 8:45 on thursday night every week. 2 hours before lights out and once im done i usually have 30 mins untill the lights go out.

Looking good...you got plenty head room..more veg time=higher yield...you got them spred out perfect...i got a seed in RW with a tail and i'm keeping a close watch on Wool moisture...so far i have lost 2 seeds and 3 cuttings to Rock Wool..heres hoping i get a chance at DWC...got the bucket bubbling...

yea i just MIGHT veg for 9 weeks. i have 5 feet above the canopy right now and their sitting on a chair 2 feet off the ground. i have plenty of room for more veg time ill be vegging for a while i bet lol

lol we did write at about the same time. well ive more decided that im done veggin once i use up all my sensi grow 2 part nutes. im more than half way through the bottle so im more than half way through veg.

yea itll be plenty time till i flip. i cant wait for your new lights to come id love to have your old one and upgrade to more watts finally! 800 watts sounds cool to me
