LOL it's been awhile my friend. At least a good week. I haven't been very motivated the last few weeks so the wife and I both decided we needed to get our asses in gear and get things done around here. Taking a break at the moment but heading back up to the grow room and install the outlet boxes and wire in the outlets. Then I have to go back through and staple in place all the wiring. Least the hard part is done and the wire has been run through the walls and the trusses in the attic.......3 lines!

After it's all grown and dried you'll have come help me test the THC level

hey thspot, thanx for comin in and makin yourself a regular now. i appreciate that compliment. the set up i feel could use alot of work. i wish i had longer chains so my hood can be lower to the groung instead of using the chairs to elevate the 2 on the left and middle and using a spaghetti pot and phone book to elevate the last one to the right i just hide that part the best i can.

well i had quite a scare just now. i'm doing my usual 10:00 pm rez check before lights out at 10:45 where i check PH, PPM, water levels, and water temps. i started on the WR#2 and did everything PH'd her from 5.8 to 5.6 THEN I DROPPED MY PH METER!!!!

i filled a shot glass with a sample of my WR#1's res and put my PH meter in and it read unstable readings varying from 3.4-5.9-8.8-9.1-14.8...my meter went haywire. i took i re tested everything around here tapwater, rez water, pop, juice lol then i decided to take the batteries out. i put them in and BOOM i got a stable reading so here what i had.

WR#1 was 5.8 like the WR#2 so i PH'd to 5.6 and checked my PPM. it went down to 894 so i upped her to 1040. The White Widow was at 5.7 so i added 1 drop of PH down and her PPMs were at 1030 and i usually have her in between 1100-1200 so i upped her to 1175.

im glad my meter was fixable i got it SOOOO cheap on a website i came across for 13.00. i didnt want to have to order another one and wait for it to ship let alone searching to find that same website again lol

well today i stopped by the co-op by my house and i picked up some pineapple that is incredible to look at. my flash is on and im a little too close but i hope this is a clear enough shot. thinking i may add this little guy into "nug of the month" next month to see how this holds up to my nug this month. suprisingly this little lady doesnt have the dank smell id expect it to. more sweet maybe lemony scent.. ANYWHO this stuff got me so high i dropped my PH meter for my first time so i figured id show her in here since i wont have any pic updates untill late tomorrow sometime.

haha no problem bud here goes my smoke report for some medical pineapple

Appearance: OK well this nug is just resinated with silver crystals. anymore and it would be reflecting my face off of it. the color is extraordinary. base of dark green, with a layer of purplish/grey spread evenly around the whole nug. the crystals are thick and dominate. they let themselves be seen. the hairs are mildly placed all over so its not overwhelming with hairs.

Smell: the looks and the smell dont compare. the looks are out of this world but the smell is just some regualr everyday stuff. in my nug jar im smelling a hard to describe scent ive never really had to describe before but here it goes. if i had a man breath in a jar with out brushing his teeth i can almost compare the smell to that. its not the best smell but after describing a man breathing in a jar its hard to say it smells good. its just a piney/bad breath type smell lol

Taste: OK now the taste was WAY better than the smell is. the taste is where it gets her name from. she tatstes like a pineapple and on exhale had a strong tangy taste. deffinatley a great tasting smoke.

Potency: The crystals are warning enough that this weed isnt for begginers. the high was deffinately a downer. i didnt want to be active i sat on my bed after the first bowl and played 3-4 hours of dead island on my xbox then realized i cant remember a single mission i did or innerate what i have been doing in the game.i felt like i had amnesia when trying to remember what i had accomplished while playing. After that i smoked another bowl and put in season 4 of dragonball Z and there is where i retired for the night in a complete weed indosed coma. pineapple is GREAT

Overall: 9/10 the smell makes me want to give it an 8 but the potency,taste, and appearance are good enough to overlook the smelling flaw

good question. pretty simple for my setup

well first off those buckets are my resevoir there isnt a main resevoir pumping water through my buckets its just 3.5 gallons of water in a 5 gallon bucket.i dump them out in the back yard then scrub them with a washcloth and bleach water and rinse off untill i feel all the bleach has washed out. then i fill her up (my memory knows where the water level goes) untill there 3.5 gallons in there and i carry it to my closet and place it on the chair and start adding nutes from there. i usually add my PH down first then do my nutes but others do nutes first then PH.

every morning i wake up and take my bucket lid off and put it on an empty bucket and i scoop some water into a shot glass and start my PH and PPM metering. everymorning my PH is either at 5.8 or 5.9 so i drop the PH to 5.6 then get on to my nutes. i add the amount of water that my plants drank over night then i add my base nutes in to accomidate for what they ate last night and i PPM the rez untill i have about 1000- 1200 PPM

When i mixed some nutes today..i ph the water 1st than i added the nutes and checked my ph,,it was off a lot...so i think you should ph after mixing the nutes...then again it depends on the nutes...

when i used the 3 part it would of been best for me to PH last but i fought the level spikes anyway. but with the 2 part grow from AN i cant see any diffference before and after nutes so this line really goes with my method of feeding. ill give it a try to do it last i'll let you guys know what i think.

im good bud how u doin. yea i'm going to try it that way next time around. i dont have the PH perfect version of the grow formula im just using the regular stuff but im buying the PH perfect bloom base here soon.so who knows if my 38-45PPM tap water reacts well to the buffer in the nutes. i been reading its more likely to balance itself in RO water than tap but thats from some people living where the PPMs in their water were at 200+ so im hoping ill be fine if not ill be buying an RO pump soon.
