So sorry to hear that Canna...if I find any info I think might be useful I'll post it for you:circle-of-love:
Thanks Jay. I'm not going to let it get me down because there are two things I am extremely grateful for...One is that it's fixable and manageable if I get the right goods in me and keep the routine. YEY!
Two, and most important is that it is not Pancreatic Cancer which they had me scared with until the test results came in. BIGGER YEY!
It just peeves me that it has taken almost five years for the correct tests/scans to be ordered to find this out.
So, on with the healing process and get some food in my gut! LOL

How are your S'mores doing? Did you try a smaller dose of them?
oops....just read your other post. LOL We'll see how mine are probably tomorrow. I don't want to try those in addition to a full meal with cannabis in it too. :cheesygrinsmiley:

That's good news and a great additude Canna :thumb:...Hope you heal up fast :)

Gonna try just a bite in a couple hrs :)

I found this...you probably already know this but I thought it may be helpful

"There are a wealth of herbs and supplements intended to help you soothe symptoms of chronic pancreatitis. Natural herbal remedies include B complex vitamins and lecithin to help metabolize fats, dandelion extract to stimulate production of bile, olive extract for its anti-inflammatory properties, garlic for its anti-oxidant qualities, and milk thistle to help detoxify the liver. Other natural remedies include lactobacillus acidophilus to encourage healthy intestinal bacteria, chromium to regulate blood sugar, and silica to aid in rebuilding of damaged tissue. Many people also turn to ayurvedic herbs for help with pancreatitis symptoms, with amalaki, haritaki and behada fruits a popular choice for cleansing and rebuilding tissue.
Although many people report good results with these supplements, always discuss issues with your doctor before embarking on any vitamin regime, as they may interact negatively with prescription drugs.

A healthy, low-fat diet can do a lot to cut down on pancreatitis symptoms. Eat small quantities spaced throughout the day, rather than sitting down to three large meals. Replace the saturated fats in your diet with cold-pressed oils. Replace caffeine, alcohol and soda with fruit juices and water. Eat high-fiber foods like brown rice, and high-protein foods like chicken and fish. Seek out vegetables, berries, and tofu for the anti-oxidant properties. Fatty foods, spicy foods, and pre-packaged foods are out"-ehow.com

I bet if there is a way to make acidophilus caps you can figure it out :)

I made the pieces smaller :)...one piece is two servings

I just ate half a piece to test again...I love being a guinea pig :)

That's great information Jay! Never thought to look at E-How. LOL
I'm familiar with a lot of those things, and I bet you're right...I could figure out a way to capsulize it. ;-)
I've got a bag full of empty gel caps here that I used for homemade vitamin E and Olive oil supplements years ago.
You've given me some homework. Thank you for taking the time!
Yogurt and cheese has lactobacillus acidophilus, and you know how we loves our cheeses!
I'll be making a trip to Health Hut this week to pick up some things, I want to stay with organic if possible on most things. But I don't want to stop getting my proteins either. I need the weight gain, as well as the healing. LOL
:thumb::thanks:

Nice...I know you can figure it out if it's possible to do at home...Yeah I was just enjoying some Munster and salami :)

So....why don't people just put decarbed weed into capsule form to medicate? OR do they? It just a powder like substance when it's done....any thoughts on that?

Good question...I don't know the answer but I'm sure someone does...Jaga may be a good person to ask..he makes the canna caps for his wife...also I think McLoadie has experience with that too if I remember correctly...which I usually dont:laughtwo:

I will look up both of them and ask. Seems like McLoadie did mention something awhile back on that subject. I think Beemerbill may have some info there too.
Thanks again.
Muenster cheese.....ooohhh he likes the smelly stuff! LOL

The cheesier the better...that's my modo

...also applies to my jokes :laughtwo:

Thanks Heady! Where do you get hemp milk? Never heard of it. LOL
I have a magic bullet blender, I can make use of that. I have two huge tubs of plain yogurt in the freezer, it was to make cultures with for cheese. So, I need to find a way to incorporate them into my diet....blech. LOL
I'm going to use some in the stuffed shells that I'm going to make tonight, I don't have any ricotta but I found a recipe to use some cream cheese, yogurt and eggs...with some parmesan to cut the sweetness of the cream cheese. We'll see what happens. :)

That recipe idea sounds delicious!

Mrs gets hemp milk locally at our Fred Meyer in the health food section....maybe a GNC or other nutrition store.

The Brand she likes is Pacific.

Okay, I decided to make a smoothie with what I had available here. I have to thank Heady and Jay for motivating me. LOL
I used Plain Yogurt with one teaspoon sugar, and about 1 cup of frozen strawberries and after I blended it I mixed in about 1/4 tsp. of decarbed weed. I figure if I have to eat this stuff, I might as well make it do double duty...give me good bacteria and a small buzz while at it. ;-)

This was really tasty actually. And it made enough for two more smoothies for tomorrow.

Now the usual program when I drink my chocolate shakes each night is the kitty sits on the arm of the chair and waits for the sound of the straw hitting bottom. When I have about a tablespoon of shake left, she gets to lick the straw until it's gone. Yep.
So she thought she was waiting for the usual, and when she took a few licks of the straw at the end....well it was the most comical thing I've seen from her. Apparently a little brain freeze in addition to the unexpected taste that she just couldn't get to go away.
I'm wondering now if she'll diss me on the next choco shake time. She's still looking at me like I did something bad.

"Decarbed weed' refers to the chemical process associated primarily with the drying of the cannabis plant. In order for us to make the molecules "psychoactive" we need to dry the buds out. In essence, this provides a slight amount heat by evaporation, and some residual water content allows CO2 to escape from the THCA or CBDA portion of the molecule and turns a carboxylic acid into an alcohol - which makes it psychoactive to the brain. Hence the term "De-carb" because we have decarboxylated the molecule by releasing a CO2 molecule per molecule THC or CBD.

Great looking smoothie Canna, looks just like ours...too funny about the cat we have one that loves any yogurt...even grabs for the straw or cup crying for his share lol.

Well, I had the stuff already half prepared for the stuffed Manicotti before I knew what I should and should not eat. LOL So, I made the Stuffed Manicotti anyway and it's going to some friends. I did have a "taste" and it's very good. Using the cream cheese, yogurt and Grated parmesan worked out well for the stuffing. And the spinach of course. Had to add two eggs to it as a binder because it was a bit thin using the yogurt.
The sauce is just regular pasta sauce with my own little additions for flavor, garlic, basil and some parsley and about 1/8 C. of decarbed weed, and it is a meat sauce. Regular burger, which despite how well it's drained...seems to still be greasy. LOL So I would suggest using something a little less on the greasy side if you're going to add meat. Sausage....yummmm
I also mixed some decarbed into the filling and some fresh leaves from the plants I will be harvesting next week.
I would love to sit down with a plateful of this....but oops, that's a no no right now. LOL
If anyone wants the recipe before I altered, let me know...I'll paste it over here.
Also, this is the first time that I have baked a pasta dish without first boiling the pasta a few minutes. It was so much easier to fill those shells with it uncooked. The secret is that you have to have enough liquid to be able to steam that pasta in the oven. I covered it with tin foil while it baked and it turned out perfectly Al Dente.
