if I get 3 or 4 females out of this experiment, it definitely would persuade me on the benefits of cfl and seed germ, early growth, and influence on sex. may not be super-scientific, but close enough for me :)

I ordered from Bonza seeds, they have kinda bad reviews on here, but most didnt pay for the guaranteed shipping, and I cant understand why not,, regular shipping was like 7 bucks, and stealth guaranteed was 12,, other sites were 30 for guaranteed shipping. I had no clue what they were going to ship it in.

I even ordered Incredible bulk auto seeds by mistake, contacted them before they shipped, and they happily changed it to the photo seeds. So far they have been a pretty good company to deal with. Now, we will see on the quality of the seeds themselves when time comes.

I want to pop one,,lol, but dont know which one,,,,,,,,,, maybe the auto, never grew an auto, so might be fun to do one. Now that I got ladies in flower, no need for a rush to get one finished, so might save the auto for later..

I got 4 seeds going for the CFL experiment, and 4 clones going, plus the solo cup... gonna have to wait a bit before popping a new bean I think..lol
 
so, got 11 plants going, just under teh 12 limit, so I got room for one more, right? lmao

the 4 clones are doing good, 3 have been topped, the 4th one is behind a bit.
Bel got a bit of a trim, and you cannot tell, she just has a thick, thick structure. She had mammoth P throughout, Sarah has only received a tiny bit, and I think there is a huge difference (but Bel is also DWC and Sarah is soil) Bel also has some thick growth between the main stem and a side shoot, almost like the webbing between a duck's toes. never seen that before, I will have to get a pic later.

The CFLs are growing, and those little cups are drying out every two days, so will transplant them tomorrow.

Solo has put out a couple of roots, is out from the dome and in veg, shes a bit yellow/pale, but she should be fine.

Hey Luke, going good thanks. Today was just a lazy day,, got in late last night from a food truck festival that I was in. Good day, and weather was great. By the time I got up this morning, it was almost 7am, so barely any time to look at the girls before lights off. lol

I got a grey card today, and a loupe. Even though I only have a iphone and not a fancy DSLR camera,,, I figured it could still help. My first attempts with playing with one...

I really need to put the CFL seedlings into pots, prob 1 gal for now,,, but they are outgrowing their cups. Speaking of cups, little solo is perking up, looks like a bit of new growth, and turning her leaves toward the light,,,
 
Good Morning,

Water change on Big Bel, She is a monster,,,, and drinking like crazy. Bloom nutes, plus 5lm calmag, 1ml floraliscious, 10ml coolbloom, .6 mammoth P... PH 5.9, so didnt adjust it, just left it. Yeah, high concentration of nutes, but she has been taking it just fine, and I end up putting about 1/2 gal or more a day of just RO water to top off the bucket,

CFLs got a traansplanted into 2gal pots last night, and this morning, they didn't skip a beat. I need to rig up a holder for another cfl, will try to do that today, I wonder how much more to keep in cfl for the experiment, I dont think i can run the entire veg just under cfl's, I am thinking another week or two, then put them under the vipar, and put the clones under the galaxy hydro,,,

Anyways, I am itching to pop a new bean, need to make a game plan to move these around, problem is,,, Bel is trying to take over the entire tent. well, maybe not a bad thing,

Thanks Leo,

I have 4 more bulbs, so can run 200 watts of cfl if needed, just dont know how long under them is long enough for our experiment...

But, they are doing fine, and not really stretching, so will leave them for now.

I am thinking 1 or 2 weeks from now, I should be able to move something into the flower tent, and then pop a new bean. I so want to play with some real genetics, but can't trow away a good/growing plant,,lmao,
