The BS Journal - Bag Seed - LED - Soil - Frankenpot - 1st Run In A Long Time

Well they always say males show first the the females follow suit so fingers crossed the sausage party is over and time for the chicks to come out n play!! I new there was no way you were gonna get ten out of ten males! That would of been insane!!
 
Morning update, too lazy for pics this morning, sorry. lol
still no signs on Bel, but I have faith at this point, can't believe it's been 17 days now of 12/12 though... sheesh

Sarah is starting to throw pistols on other branches now. I will have to get a nice set of shots tonight

Since i soaked the bagseed, the C series for CFL, 1 more popped up this morning, and on another, I can see the faintest bit of green at the surface. So looks like the CFL experiment is still on, and I didn't kill them. C2 popped last night, C3 this morning, and C1 is the faint green at surface.

The G24 seeds though, I just threw in the dirt, no pre-soak, so I bet they died.
 
wow. That's quite a while without pistils. Maybe the plants were simply not matured enough before you flipped? I'm quite curious about how long I will have to wait for pistils as I did the flip today. Guess I'll check my first journal to see how long I waited last time.

Checked my first journal. It took 5 days from the flip to 12/12 before I saw pistils. But I did have a timer problem so I had 5 days before that with light on 12 hours and light almost off 12 hours. That made them stretch like hell - so not sure if that process helped induce flowering or not. If that is the case I'll see pistils after 10 days

Also, joined a fun little journal The Red Cup where a bunch of us took clones today and will veg and bloom in only a 18oz Solo cup. should be a blast,

The cfl experiment is under way, looking forward to the results. and i saw you ordered some seeds, nice choices man I'll have too try some of those out in future grows.
 
the 4th seed popped, so all 4 cfl bag seeds, have popped.

the g24's? not so much, but I did not pre-soak them, so maybe in a day or two, or maybe they died, lmao.

Sarah is starting to build sites, may have to try and trim/tie it a bit to open her up.

Bel is still not showing any signs or slowing down, she (hopefully) is getting huge. and just starting to alternate nodes, so hopefully shows sex soon,,

misted the redcup, and the other clones, not much else going on, except for it was HOT yesterday, man,,, tents topped out at 92 though, so not too horrible.
 
Still nothing on Bel, except growth. Did notice tips are burnt, I added straight water yesterday, I wonder if it got too low and the concentration got too high? It's hot today, 92 in the tent.

For the Cfl's, all 4 are up, due to heat, all 4 cups seems dry, so poked holes (forgot earlier :riskybusiness: ) and watered them

Trying to understand something. I see that you and many many others are starting the plants in solo-cups. But doesn't that stunt the plant with at least a week every time you re-pot it? I always plant the seeds in the pots the plants will grow out their lives in. That is one of my tricks for speed-growing

I think for auto's you need to put it in its final pot.
And, if not done right, I guess up-potting can shock them a bit, Never really thought deeply on it. I think it's easier to handle,, lol, and the wet/dry cycle is quicker, starting in a bigger pot leads people (well novices anyways) to overwatering, and it can take a long time for a saturated 5 gal pot to dry out when it is just a seed..
