Trying to understand something. I see that you and many many others are starting the plants in solo-cups. But doesn't that stunt the plant with at least a week every time you re-pot it? I always plant the seeds in the pots the plants will grow out their lives in. That is one of my tricks for speed-growing
This is something I struggled with on my current grow. I had only grown outside before, and they started and finished in 5 gal pots. They always produced what I thought was an adequate amount, and the method made sense to me. Then I started reading things like this, How Do I Transplant Marijuana for Faster Growth? | Grow Weed Easy , saying you can actually speed up growth by transplanting properly. So I tried it out, and never saw any slow down. I thought I was done when they went into 7 gal pots, Until I was advised that I should up pot from the 7 gal that I had planned on finishing them in before I flipped. I happened to still have the potted bones from a outdoor Northern Lights grown last summer, she produced 8 ounces, but when I pulled her from the pot I saw this.
At that point I realized lost potential. I'm not a speed grower, and I think I would have to start in a much larger pot than the current 17 gal ones they are finishing in now if I never transplanted to achieve maximum potential.
