The 4x4 Grow Tent Club

Here is my one of my last tent grows. Time kept me from letting these get very tall before flowering. Next grow went lots better but no pics. I will have to post here next grow.

Got my ass in trouble here a few times for posting shit on here they don't like, got a collection of private messages from these guys, LOL. But that's cool, brake their rules, get a PM. Deleted my Sig, because it was a link to rollitup, The reason I use RIU is the ease of loading pics.

Whoops hope I didn't break any rules by posting the brand name or anything that wasn't my intention hehe. Anywho... I hung up one of the 150w HPS lights i bought. I'm not going to turn them on until flower but i figured it would be a good idea to get the light for the back of the tent hung up now while my plants are small and its easy to get in the tent. I angled it slightly but I'm now thinking that was a bad idea because I don't want to blast the middle of my tent with TOO much light right? I will eventually get it to hang flat to spread the light more evenly. I will eventually hang the 2nd 150w HPS on the otherside of the LED by the "front door" of the tent.

Those little 150-watt HPS aren't HUGE (although they can grow decent cannabis, nonetheless), but they'll definitely help flesh out your lighting spectrum, give you a "third light" effect, and generally add light. Great additions to your tent!

Hey guys I'm not sure if its appropriate to ask this here but I'm going to anyway since it'll be used for my 4x4....But has anybody ever used those Myco2 mushroom kits to introduce more CO2 into your tent?

I bought one of the bloom kits which claims to release CO2 at 1200ppm in a 4x4 area and was curious if anybody has tried them in the past and what they thought about it?

Little update. 2*Cuvee + 2* Jack Skellington, planted on the 2nd.

Had 8 "mystery" seeds planted and not one had sprouted at all, so went digging today and dug them all out and have put them into the paper towel method to see if I can't get a tail on them, hopefully should see something in a day or 2 and will replant them if so. If nothing happens then I'll SCROG with the 4 I have.

Just waiting for a few things still but everything seems to be coming along .

I've only read about them once before, not necessarily that brand in specific, but I've read they don't produce as much as they claim, and that often they've already been activated before they even get to you so don't last as long as they should

Very limited reading on them though, so take it with a grain of salt .

So what are people here are doing for CO2?
I've done 1 grow so far, it was ok.
I'm on to my second grow now and want to do a lot better than my 1st grow.
I've been researching today and I've seen tanks, mushroom, douche solutions, yeast and sugar diy projects, bags, bottles.
Any thing you guys like in particular? Anything I should stay away from?
TIA

This is what is going on inside my 4x4.

Very productive weekend,
Saturday morning pulled the plants out to give them a good check up, they had a good low ppm flush twice and had their water stopped on Thursday morning so the plants had been drying in the pots for two days, I scoped them and found at least 60% cloudy, 20+% clear and the rest just beginning to turn amber. Turned to my GF and told her to get the trimming scissors and we got busy. Harvested that Critical Kush earlier last week so this weekend GF and I did the G13 Haze.
Total wet weight, 4596 all plants, the G13's averaged 999 g wet weight and the Critical Kush was 600 g. Not sure what that will be dry but being conservative and using a 15% wet to dry ratio it comes to 24.62 zips of good medicine (but never count those chickens and all that crap). Also had around 450 grams of small buds and leaf that will go in the oil also, Should be able to get enough CO for my treatment, I hope so anyway and hope I get enough .
Ladies just before chop.

All nine rows, lined up and smelling so nice.

My little helpers comment, I don't want to take this leaf off it has so much white crystals all over it. My comment, remove it, it is going to be added to everything when we make oil.

.
Well I will post dry weight when it happens, not totally happy, the Critical Kush will not be grown again and the entire plant is going to make oil. I would have done well weight wise had it not been for that bitch. Second time to try her but won't grow it again.
Guess I will continue to use the stacked 315's and the vertical growing, very pleased with the lights and the vertical technique.

Looking good :cheertwo: Did you budwash them?

And what is the reason to bud wash?
Just asking, don't know about it
no i didn't, they are just hung to dry now.

I'd never heard of it either before reading about it on this site. I did it with the last 5 plants of 7 from my first grow. Google budwashing and have a look at some of the videos. It sounds crazy, but it's not. As to why you would do this it; helps in curing, gets rid of any non-bud material, kills any kind of mold, results in a better tasting smoke. What it doesn't do is wash away the THC. Why? Trichomes attaching to the plant are oil-based. You can't wash them away with water. I strongly recommend it.

I grow in coco with a 600w hps. I do my best to supercrop them so they look like a satellite dish.
