ThatOneGuyy's First Lemon Skunk Indoor Grow

In case anyone was wondering why the leaves look so droopy, Its because these girls drink so much water that by the time i water again they are already hungry. They aren't underwatered at all and the leaf sag never reaches the point where it is stressing the plant. The soil at the bottom is just barely moist and they want more. So needy.

This is them a few hours after watering and under my HPS:

They are really stretching for it.:tokin:

their stayin green cause their still drinkin water, did you happen to use the Rootech?? and the lemon is startin off nice definitely swellin up!!! :tokin:

I used the roottech for a few of the clones. Most of which were thrown away due to being a male. The rest were in the Clonex rooting gel.

looks good!!! wish i had a closet to grow in lol, mines is filled with clothes, i wanted to dry the buds in there and my girl almost had a heart attack lol, if it wasn't all are nice stuff i wouldn't care but i got some nice stuff in there so yea, but one day i'll upgrade..

The rootech stuff works. I took 20 cuttings, 10 w/rootech, 10 w/clonex. 7 out of 10 rooted w/rootech, 8 out of 10 w/clonex

TOG that cloner will be the best investment, trust me you won't regret it
You can make one easy for around $50 or less so don't waste your money on a ez-clone

I'm sorry if you mentioned it earlier and I missed it, but did you shave a few layers off the bottom of the cutting before you dipped it in the gel ?

I was going to scrap the bottom but i was pressed for time. I am guessing that was my first problem and the reason this is going to take longer than It should've.

As for the cloner, I planned on making one they seem fairly simple to make and instead of a pump I will be using some pond foggers. Instead of using a giant tub I will smaller ones with at least 20 inserts each. I pretty limited to my vertical space so I will make some low profile cloners. I will draw something up before I build it.

lookin nice TOG, verrrryyy nice. I can tell those buds are going to fill out very nicely sir. i predict 2-3oz a plant from this grow easily.

Yeah I ballparked around that also. I am hoping anywhere from 2-4oz which would be more than sufficient with the investment I have in this. Even 2oz would very much pay for the time and effort put into this. It's not like I have to force myself to get up everyday to check my plants. I seriously love doing this and I cant see myself not doing this for a long long time.:thumb:

Mini Update: The wilted clone I didn't pull made a full recovery. Since I didn't scrape the bottoms I feel they might take at least a month to root. Time will tell.:tokin:

I thought I would pop in and see what's happening. Looks like quite a bit. Those plants look fantasticly healthy. I ready the 1st couple pages and the last page... Now I have to read the middle to find your secret method. Dayum nice plants.

Subbed.

Hey MS! :thankyou::welcome: Im glad my Journal could help you out. My closet is an ongoing project. I the next couple months I will be setting it up the way I want so I can't wait. I had to sacrifice my closet for all of this but I just had to organize things differently.

I am going to do things different once I setup my next journal. Hope you stick around. It would be great to have some people around for harvest. :thumb:

Good morning TOG,
Thanx for all the info you provided on my journal very helpful. I am also watching the way you set your closet. Even though I have taken a whole room over I think I want to set a specific spot for the seedlings. I was think of either the closet in the room its self or using a cupboard the next grow. This way I will have 3 seperate areas Seedling, veg, and flower. Any thoughts ....... Still sending good thoughts and wishes for all of your current babies.:goodjob::high-five:

Mini Update:So this morning when I watered and looked at all my girls, I noticed a few new changes that I'd like to report.

My two Lemon Skunk girls are finally developing trichomes. I had a bit of stickiness going and it can only get better from here! also, A few of the hairs are starting to turn red.

This grow will also be finishing up with my Technaflora: Recipe for success kit and after that I will be upgrading and that all will show in my new journal that I will start mid november. I got big plans and hope that everyone will stick around for it.:thumb:

Well If you plan on setting up some Growception(A growroom within a grow room) you will need to make certain that they are light-proof from each other. You do not want any light leaking from your seedling/clone/Veg room into your main flower room. So it all depends on the layout of the room. I'd say draw a blueprint on how you wanna set it up and see if its possible.:lot-o-toke:

I have drawn it out and it does look possible since the room is big enouph right now. But I will put more thought into it when I see how big these get when they go into flower stage. May have to take over part of the laundry room......LOL

Mini Update: On 10/19/2011, I germed five more Lemon Skunk seeds. out of the five I hope for one potential mother out of the bunch. I also ordered some seeds yesterday and some nutes and I will be picking up random things at the hydro store today. Im gearing up for my second grow and this one will be full scale.

Here's a small list of things I plan on doing in the next few months:
  • Build a stealth Cab from my dresser.
  • Grow, train and maintain four mothers
  • build a DIY cloner
  • Add ventilation exhaust and filters.
  • Get ready for perpetual Sog setup

Im sure there are plenty of other things I need to do but for now this is what I will share in this journal. I will have the confirmed list of strains I will be growing up soon so I hope ya'll will follow along.:thumb:

I am totally looking forward to seeing everything all set up on your end. Im excited for you and I hope that everything goes smoothly with little to no complications.:goodluck:

So you r going to build a cloner...me too...i'm going to try one with a pond fogger...if this grow works out...i think next year i'll try HYDRO...

I think Im going to stick with soil. Hydo sounds fun but I think soil is my callin. I think if I had cash on the side to do a mini Hydro grow on the side I would give it a try but I'm not gonna go out of my way to spend money on it.
