ThatOneGuyy's First Lemon Skunk Indoor Grow

Urgent Update: Finally, the day I have been waiting for! Remember those clones I took? Well... I have roots! Exactly two weeks from clipping, I got small signs of roots!:thumb:

Three of the six #2 Lemon Skunk clones are showing roots and two of the three #1 Lemon Skunk clones are rooted. It's not much but a few root spikes are good enough for me. Here is a pic:

That is all I got for now. Hopefully they all show roots by monday. I will pot them and they will go straight into flower.:thumb:

Are you adding sugar or some carb? That will help with more frostiness

Im adding everything that my Nute kit came with. Nothing extra yet.

Thanks Guys! I was really excited. I seriously shouted when I saw roots. I was discouraged because of the one I pulled and it didn't have any. Im guessing that was because the skin the the stem was too tough and roots couldn't breach it. Next time around I will scrap thebottoms before dunking them. :thumb:

I guess now I can have a few more plants in flower. I might put them straight into my flower room as soon as they get a more established root system.

I have never used molasses. What kiind of molasses is typically used? I need to get some today and give it a try. I am in my last few weeks.

First off, I would like to thank everyone for the stars:thankyou: I couldn't have done all this without everyone. I am really happy that I have people following my grow that are enjoying it.:thumb:

Mini Update:I thought i'd give you guys a little update for this morning so lets get on with it.

Clones:

Since now I have some rooted clones I decided to pot them and they will stay in the veg room for one more week to let them settle into their new homes before going into flower.

The others haven't shown roots yet but I am hopeful for them to root soon. They are still green so they are getting water somehow.

Flowering:

The two Lemon Skunk girls have finally stopped stretching and now are fousing on flower formation and trichome production. They should take off in the next few weeks. Im really excited.

Hindu Kush:

They are working on their third and forth set of fan leaves. I am hoping that the stem gets some thickness going on cause once these get to about 6" I will top them far enough down to get clones from it. Once the new tops fill I,I will start LST'ing them.

Lemon Skunk Seedlings:

All five of the germed seeds popped a few days ago and now I am waiting for them to pop out of my rockwool. Three of them are working on spreading their cotyledons. Two are stuck under and hopefully they stretch in the next few days. These will be part of my new journal but I wont start that until I have all my seeds on my strain list and I start Nutes on them.

GodSpeed: Good to see you on my journal! I means a lot to me that you rated my Journal. I didn't think I was deserving of the stars yet. I hope you enjoy the rest of this grow and continue to stick around. Any comments or ideas or helpful are always welcome. :thankyou:

Miwa: Im sure you can clone too! I honestly had a trial and error moment and I was lucky enough to get some clones that took. Invest in some clone gel and rockwool or an aero cloner pre-made or DIY. That will most likely be my ext project after my stealth cab.

Murz:What GodSpeed is talking about is just a humidity dome. Freshly cut clones have no way of getting water so the first few days youwanna keep the medium and environment as humid as possible. You mist the dome and keep the medium wet and they should thrive.:thumb: You can buy a dome at a hydro store for like six bux.

Hi TOG I think you more then deserve the stars mate I was blown away this being your first grow and you have done a good job documenting with illustration.

Flowers are looking scrumptious bro will def be sticking around.

Good explanation on the prop 2 that was just all I knew it as.

:peace:

Thanks! that means a lot.:thumb:

damn tog you did a good job on them clones man, conrats man, glad you got'em goin!!!

Haha Thanks! Im glad some took. I was hoping to make a mother from one of my clones but since I started some more Lemon Skunk I wont need to.

Mini Update: Seems like I have bad luck when starting seeds. One of the Lemon skunk kinda died by broken taproot. Everytime I start some I end up killing one. Three have popped past the surface and the last one is working its way up.
