Thai Stick

She is a tall girl looks like she will do very well:thumb:

Thanks jaga I think it'll do okay where it's at for now, but as soon as my Ak47s are done I'm putting it under a 600 watt lamp. That grow unit is taller than I am so I'll be able to keep it away from the light.

You get the mold in the dirt? I grow in the crawlspace of my house an it is very humid in my region. I have noticed in the past that the more mold I had, the bigger budz I had. Hmm Still trying to figure this stuff out.

I've gotten that before, but the mold I'm talking about starts out in the buds, usually my top colas. It starts with rotting deep in between the individual clustered nugs (where it's wet). Usually the leaves in the cola will yellow and pull out really easy like nothing's holding them on and that's how I first know a plant has it. I'm trying to keep watering of my plants down to a minimum to keep the spores under control so I don't get it again this year; it's super hard to get rid of.

Thanks man. Here's the plants this grow's named after :)

They're needing a strong light right about now; glad the switch is tomorrow.

Gotta say it looks like balls ,,But on one it doesn't seem to be uniform:smokin2:but the one above that looks like a definite boy:reading420magazine:Why not find the best male,, you could get some good seed I think if you have room they al look so good it would be a shame to just have to pull them?

I just had a look at them again and you are right I hope the first one dosnt seem to have an :thumb:
Also it is strange cause they all look like they should be Fem,, because there structure the males are normally more Kind off spindly and the Females just like yours look but looks are deceiving some times? I hope you got a couple to be honest they just seem very Fem:smokin2:

I'm ninety-nine percent certain at this point that these are all male (except of course the Critical Jack seed, which was a fem seed). I fed the 3 Thai Stick plants a dose of Iguana Juice Grow w/SensiCal Grow, and I decided to switch the Critical Jack plant to GO. I fed it week 7 of the feeding schedule. It looks really good so far:

Post more pics soon.

Update: All 3 of the Thai Stick plants were male. I don't have anything that can get that small of a pic other than the ones I showed earlier. But magnified, I can see them clearly; when that little green dot develops a stem and protrudes off the node I know it's male even though I saw the beginnings of the flowers. I picked the best male, cut it in half, and put it into a locker unit with a 125 watt full spectrum CFL (along with a GDP clone I'm going to pollinate with it). The Thai Stick plant is barely visible in the back of this pic:

I'm going to move it under the light and put the GDP clone in the back today. The good thing about this grow is that I decided to put the Critical Jack in; Hell it looks pretty good :)

Should whack the bottom three rows of branches on that one, huh?

Bottom couple look pretty useless, yeah. :cheesygrinsmiley: But she sure purdy! :bravo:

So what do you think of the Thai Sticks? Pretty fluffy but ... manageable? It sucks that they were all male - I was looking forward to watching.

I liked growing them they did well under the 13.25/10.75 light schedule and were very manageable. I've got 3 Zamal Reunion plants up (it's supposed to be an indigeneous strain) and one should be a female, plus I need a landrace father to breed with that strain I bred out, so the pollen's not gonna go to waste. :)

Any thought of popping another seed or two of the thai for fems?

You know you'll try again eventually. Why not now when you'll soon have some fresh thai pollen on hand

My condolences in the boys, but I have faith you'll make the best of it.

I've looked at all the seedbank websites I know of, and no one still has Thai Stick seeds for sale. The company doesn't even have them on their own website anymore. I only bought 3 seeds, so I'm up $hit creek without a paddle..... :(

-------------------- claims to have Thai stick. I didn't go through the checkout process but don't see anything about it being out of stock.

Edit. - Aahhhh. I see-address not allowed
