Thai Stick

I know  But I'm not throwing in the towel just yet none of the nodes are big or developed enough to see anything but a light green dot. When one gets just a little bigger I can get me a camera shot, crop that pic to zoom in on it, then full screen that cropped pic and see. The spots just aren't getting bigger yet.
As soon as a Purple Maroc and a GDP clone are out, all 3 of these are going into flower under a 600 watt lamp and we'll see for sure :) It'll probably be about 2-4 days. I'm still planning a GDP cross with this strain if they're all totin' a sausage. I still got a little hope in the one yet. I'm mainly thinking damn too though, Buckshot. Something's going in a wet paper towel tomorrow either way eff it..... :tokin:

I need to figure out which Sativa dom to run with them to make sure I get a female if I run regular seeds. Like this grow had the Critical Jack fem plant to keep it from being a total loss in the event of all males with the reg Thai Stick seeds. Dr. Greenthumb's C99? Maui Wowie? Dr. Grinspoon? OG Kush - Ghost cut? I've got a good collection to choose from.

Do you have any Central/South American sativas?

Thai goes well with them. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I like the sound of Ghost Thai ... but Thai Wowie has a ring to it too. I would grow them all and cross as many as possible. You never know what you are going to get with a hybrid and it is rare to get the best of both so the more you throw at the wall...the more will stick :cheesygrinsmiley:

Notes: In order to do a sulfer evaporation on my plants as a preventative measure for bud rot and grey mold, I switched the Critical Jack fem plant to another tent with 3 GDP clones and 1 Blue Dream clone around the same time flowering. I'm putting the 3 Thai Stick plants in the 600 watt unit where it was tonight; I'm still 90% convinced that they're all males so here's where I find out:

A male and two females equals a Thai Stick x Thai Stick breeding with one female being flowered out for smoke.

Two males and a female equals picking the best male, culling the other, and flowering out the female for smoke while putting the male in a separate unit with a GDP female. I'll pollinate one or two branches of the female Thai Stick plant I grow for smoke to have Thai Stick seeds.

If they're all 3 male, the best survives, it goes in with a GDP female to pollinate it, and I collect the pollen for later projects.

In the least likely event they're all females, I'll grow them out for smoke obviously.

Post pics soon.

That philosophy got me kicked out of the last zoo I was in.....

You should have just masturbated in ladies faces, like the chimp did to my mom at the Bronx zoo. She was horrified and guided her five kids on to more horrors :cheesygrinsmiley: (the zoo story is a good one, I should tell it before I kick, I better start writing)

If you have any pollen and you get all females, dust 'em

Notes: The Critical Jack plant is going through a 4 hour sulfur burn right now. I'll try to get some close up pics to see if I can determine the sex of each yet. It's only a matter of days now before I do the transfer to my 600 watt unit; I don't want to waste soilless mix (too pricey these days), so I'll wait to see what sex they are before I do a transplant.

:)
Dang this thing's gettin' tall!

Dinafem Seeds - Critical Jack (11 days of flowering at 11.5/12.5):

That sulfur burn gave the hairs at the top of this plant a slight wilt but it's fine; it probably won't even brown them it's so slight.

Sounds like you got to feeling too giddy and messed up a good gig- room and board and free bananas. Darn...

Come to think of it ...

I, too, have been known to throw a lil shlt when I've gotten too giddy ...

Maybe there really Is sumpin to that descended from apes thing. :hmmmm:

:)Dang this thing's gettin' tall!

But it'd really supercrop nicely if you had to. :cheesygrinsmiley:

"4-hour sulfer burn" ??

She just says, SATIVA, Look at me :)

Yeah a company sells a low temp evaporator that melts sulfur prills (little chips of it). The sulfur gas in the grow tent inhibits the growth of grey mold spores. If I use it at week 3 of flower, keep my grow unit clean, and keep the humidity down, I can prevent grey mold. I fought it all Summer long last year and hate it! :)
