Tead's Indoor-ish, Winter, Hempy, OGK, SOG

Ya it has been too long my friend im glad your still hanging about lol. Im currently trying to germ a sour d seed my last two attempts failed due to apparently me not keeping them moist enough. Like i got them to crack open and show the taproot but as soon as i put them in a peat pellet i apparently don't keep them moist enough granted i have been keeping them in my clone dome which i never really did before, maybe that is why i been failing. Either way I'm glad to hear from you buddy!

So, got a chance to do my morning run in the afternoon instead. A buddy showed up and treated me to something called "Shark Bite". I believe I've run across it before. Mighty nice.
The Quarter is a very different thing after 5pm and it's Cinco, so there are a few more folks... felt a bit like a weekend night. Traffic thru the qtr was jammed hard in places.
I don't get to do it often, but Tead was ninja'ing his way thru the traffic down Bourbon on two wheels. It's ugly... you gotta watch hard and totally keep your head on a swivel. Drunks can come from everywhere. Doors pop left and right. Lovely holes in the brick sections on the side of the asphalt. Side streets can be even trickier. I dodged a bus door opening that had my name on it 'cause I totally saw it coming. Ole Tead knows all the threats and even knows that the really dangerous one is the one that he doesn't see. He's been doing this for many years and can cut thru the traffic like a dancing angel.

I don't do it often cause... you know... it's really just not a good idea to push anything like that... but it's nice to know I still can.

Oh... and it's hot so all the little ladies were lookin mighty nice this evening!

Feeding day...

This is my blooming osmo. She was created with the osmo mixed pretty evenly thru the mix rather than the top fed ones I started with.

I'm not quite sure if this is a calmag issue, or maybe leaf tip burning caused by overheat issues in the osmo mix. I do see some leaf clawing which says overfeed, plus, I have leaf tips and margins curling up... an indication of overheat. Osmo is heat sensitive and becomes hotter when the temps rise. There's a chart about it on the osmo website. My temps are swinging between 70f-95f.

I'm starting to think that this is not the best feeding routine for a heat challenged grow. This will be the second osmo to (hopefully) harvest. I'm just not feeling warm and fuzzy about them so far.

It sure appears to be. It's not calcium carbonate or any other form of calcium.
I've been reading about it this morning.
My original milk idea came from a baby formula grow (one that worked great btw).
I think it's just a matter of dosage. Most examples I saw used much higher doses.

Ahhh yes.... another victim tickles the spider's web....

This made me laugh right out loud. :laughtwo: God, I love visiting here. Great write-up about the afternoon run. You always leave me feeling like I can smell the neighborhood. The hallmark of a talented writer.

I swear, I'm gonna stop missing my morning visits here. This is definately one of my favorite places to drop in on. Here I sit , wide awake at 4AM because I thought I'd be responsible and fall asleep when my body got tired, which happened at 9PM instead of 3AM. Yeah, so now I'm still awake at the odd hours, but it's all ass-backwards. It's more fun when you're all awake. :laughtwo:

Hugs! :hug::hug:  Catch you all later. :kisstwo:

Embrace the darkness sue lol nothing wrong with being a night owl lol

I think I've come to that opinion lexort. :laughtwo: Although, I just spent almost three hours catching up over at Pigeon's video thread, something I likely wouldn't have done had it not been the darkest part of the night and the quietest in the neighborhood. I guess there's a reason for everything. I'll take a nap later and stay up tonight like I normally do.

Good morning Tead. Beat you through the door today. Buzzed before 7 AM. It's a good life if you can get it. :battingeyelashes:

Not too many folks beat me thru the door.
Years as an IT nerd seems to have caused a permanent shift in my schedule. I used to like to get going before the humans arrived. Great time to review logs, do upgrades, or deal with explosions. While I no longer need to maintain that schedule, it seems to have marred me permanently. It would be nice if my lights came on at 4am instead of 7am.

The hallmark of a talented writer.
Talented.... hmmm.... I do appreciate the compliment of course, I'm not sure I'd call it any more than incoherent blathering, but Thanks!

Such resistance to the pull of social evolution. I still hold hope for us. It's my nature to believe.

The wheels... they just turn way to slowly for me.
To a large part, the rest of the country has put a period on the end of that paragraph and moved on. It's so frustrating to see the attitudes still exist so strongly in the south.
Just in case you're reading this and unaware that part of our country is still completely racist, let me assure you, racism in all it's forms is still very entrenched down here.
We can't even integrate our public educational systems. There are 2 equally large educational systems locally. The private schools you can send your kids to if you have money and the public schools. If you were to gather the students together and have them stand on either side of a line dividing private and public schools, you would instantly see the issue in play. Hell, many of the public schools didn't even have AC until after the Katrina rebuild.
We're just perpetuating the ugliness and starting all our children down the same path of hatred.
Drag.

I forgot my comment here. The Nutty Professor's been playing with milk and baby formula long enough now he could give you some good pointers on the use of it for growing cannabis. It was just a random thought that crossed my mind when I read this.
