Lookn like u got some nice buddage coming with tht harvest. I jus got some of my HB plants into flower now. An man with docs kit soil in 30 gal totes they are jus thriving lol. I cant wait to see my second round hit flower now those will be some dam trees come flower lol. Some how (an im guessing genetics) but they have vegged for like half the time my first round girls did but almost all of them are like double the size of the others with half the time. So i think i found the ones i "plant" to keep hahaha see what i did there.
But yea brother tead hows things been going in ur world? I hope its been going good for u from ur last pic the garden seems to be booming along in full gear. I jus had a massive wave of spider mites hit n i think i got my highbrix girls contaminated in flower i hate when i get pests during the flower cycle. But yea im sending u a pm about the lights if u dnt mind gotta question 4ya.

Hey look.... clones!
It's so humid in NOLA that I don't even cover or spray them. Just cut them an pop them into wet perl. Easy. It will change in November-ish and I'll have to start using a cover, but never during the summer months.
I'll focus on the more interesting clones. I know folks mostly clone from tips, but I've given up on caring about it any more and just make clones from wherever I wish. Here's a stubby clone.
And here she is in her permanent peat/perl home.

I’m still with the perlite cloning method as it’s proven to be the best one overall. I had some cloning issues for quite a while but finally tracked down some beneficial bacteria stuff that seems to have solved all my root rot problems

I remember your woes. Happy you're past them. It's just so simple in my world.
Fans... lots of fans. Dehumidifiers and air conditioners. Still... I float around the lower 60s.
Not a touch of PM tho. It's a damp world I live in, but simple measures can keep one out of trouble.

A poem from Weas.... luvin it. I'll respond with fun photos.
So, the garden has/is changed significantly. The larger chunks of perlite was my downfall. The big chunks don't have the ability to hold enough water to last for more than one day and I'm unable to do dailys.... so it's been a bit rough in Tead's garden lately.
No worries tho. I shifted to peat and perl (80% / 20%). The mix is great and I'm seeing better results than when I was using the smaller perlite. Added bonus.... I'm only using 1/2 the nutes I was previously using.
But let's look at pretty pictures... it's mo funner.
This is a perl/osmo UltraDog. I slid back to my old growing routine as a check to make sure something crazy wasn't going on. I was happy with the results. This is one of the best 6L perl/osmo UD's I've seen. Plus... it brings back memories of growing in the shed. She's real near clipping and crazy smelly.... I defol'd her and stank for hours.
This is a 3-fer. I had 3 Blue Dream clones that were way too old to still be clones. I also had some new grow bags and new medium to test. The two events combined into a 5gal grow bag with 3 Blue Dreams in it. I know... crazy, but it was my first and I was just trying things out. It's a crazy test grow.
Damn.... shoulda defol'd that before the picture. Meh!
Luvin grow bags and luvin the peat/perl. Why did I not do this sooner? I always meant to, but never got around to testing peat.
I've got a bunch of plants in 5gal hempy buckets, but the bags are way mo bettah. Doin bags from here on out.

That's cool you jumped over to peat. I did too, but I'm trying something similar to DB's brix stuff. Weren't you using Megacrop? I'm on a few journals of growers using Megacrop in peat and are having great results consistently. I can't remember which MC blend you had, but they have the new Vegan blend (9-6-17). There was some discussion about it today on Penny's journal. Anyways, welcome back!

Thanks baby! The new medium is just so much better and things are looking lush and green.
Yup... just the standard stuff. I do amend the medium with about 2cups of garden lime to 10g of medium, but that's it.
I can't help but wonder if it's physical location near the AC has something to do with it. I usually see colors come out at lower temps.
Either that, or it's just some old school deficiency of one sort or another.
I dig the colors and it's just shy of harvest... so I'll just sit back and watch the show. I think the other 6L osmo tube has a UD in it as well... I'll keep it far from the AC and see what happens.

Is it the Espoma Organic Garden Lime by chance? If yes, would you kindly weigh out a cup of it for me? I'm searching out a good way to amend peat and will need to be able to mix the Lime to Cal Carbonate, but I need to know the weight of the Lime as that is the source of Mg.

Dam brother that UD is beautiful congrats. An i have to agree with every1 never seen a ud look like tht but nice she a puuurrrty one lol. An nice job on those blyedreams all in the bag 2gether hahaha. Thats like sumthn i wud do oh wait i have only in 30 gallon totes an its docs kit soil. But still nice job one those. I love the BD strain i got some auto bluedreams tho. But only 2 beans left so i was saving them till i started my breeding project up again then i could make some more auto fem beans an not lose the strain. Cause man did they end up some frosty ones come harvest. But yea glad to see ur still alive an kicking how things been going in teads world. Taking A few dabs to the head makn u keep ur head dwn so low we dnt see u anymore lol jus kiddn. Anyway hope ur doing gud brother.
