Oh good I'm glad I kept that one then incase it's a female lol. So far all the chemdog crosses I've seen I really like the way they look wen growing. Plus every 1 that I've seen grow em they say it seems to be some potent meds. So it has me thinking it's the chemydog lol. N once I started using docs kit my bud potency increased as well or maybe its jus kinda changed idk lol but eitherway it's got me excited to run this strain an see how good I can get it lol.

I got me an Em Dog seedling going. I have little doubt of the quality she'll produce, but I DO hope she yields well.

Looking good in there @Tead Hard to believe that them 'hempies' support plants that large....... Have you had deficiencies show? I know when I grow an array of plants,, some always have different feeding requirements..... Is that fertilizer your using satisfy Some always want more food, other less....... From here'' they look fine..... You really want to make that room produce,, try doing have a SOG with small plants that make one main BIG Donkey Dick with no side branching.. 1-2 gallon pots......

Wow Tead never seen your journal so far down the ol subscriptions list. How’s things?
So I made a few batches of this goo yesterday, using isopropyl. For one I used a quart of Carnival, the other was a quart of Y Greiga, and also I made a batch using a small jar of finger hash.
This is the Carnival batch- smells just like Carnival bud.
Not sure what to do with this goo since it’s so annoying to work with. I’m assuming this is a sort of similar texture to whatever Tead gets out of his dab machine?
I thought there might be some stoners here who are familiar with how to handle and store this goo. If not I’ll probably post the questions in another thread or two.
It’s sticking to everything. Can’t seem to collect it together very well off the plates and not so sure what to do with it once I have. . I planned to try freezing it and then scraping it so that a billion shards can go shooting off everywhere and I won’t have to worry about them anymore (?). Yes I can check Goo-gle, har har, but what’s the fun in that...
Bonus question. There’s a lot of talk when making this QWISO about keeping everything cold and doing a quick wash, like 30 seconds, so you don’t get a bunch of nasty chlorophyll which will supposedly make everything very very harsh.
Well- I’m making mine out of buds and if I wasn’t extracting goo out of it I’d be smoking the entire jar anyway, and they are nicely cured and wouldn’t be harsh at all. So where is this alleged harshness coming from? Maybe it just pertains to people using trim with lots of leaves?

Dude that is great looking when I did mine with iso it turned out black black tar like substance. An it takes for ever to drain out so I was wondering how did u get it to drain out in 30 sec. An what did u use? But yea what I use personally is parchment paper with no wax then when I wana hold it on me I use those little silicone dab containers u see in head shops or online. Hope that helps out man but yea ur goo looks great I wish mine turned out tht good congrats brother.

You’re right, I timed the jar-shaking at around 30 seconds but it took at least that long again to drain through the cotton cloth I’d put on top of the jar. Maybe twice as long. So that kinda made my 30 second thing a bit pointless, but it still worked out in the end.
The goo seemed to dry and harden quite a bit more since my last post. It got a lot easier to work with, so I guess I worried too soon. I remembered I have a couple of those rubber dab containers- won them along with vape pens in a 420 contest or two. They’re pretty teeny but I crammed them full and used the rest of the goo to mix in with some bubble hash.
I wonder where Tead stores all his... Maybe in his lungs
The stuff I made from the finger-hash is quite dark as you can see. I left the alcohol in with it for a couple hours or more. Since the stuff is just resin anyway, I don’t see how I could be collecting anything bad by leaving the extraction longer.
I haven’t tried any of this goo yet but will probably try the carnival stuff one of these days. Not sure I dare try the finger-hash one cause it’s got a lot of indica in it and that stuff generally causes me trouble.

Man, your shit looks great! Pressing it out is so much easier, but QWISO is great.
Concentrates are fun. You get a huge amount, but the components are different.... something doesn't come thru in the process. I smoked dab for quite a few weeks, then shifted back to bud and found the missing components again and they were fun to rediscover. You wouldn't think a bowl of herb would get you high after running dab for weeks, but sure 'nuff.
Funny we both made it back at the same time on the same day. Hope all is well out your way.

Oh... whaddayaknow.... I have a grow thread.
Man... I got a fairly large silicon bong. So damn phallic. It took me a while to get over it. If one were to ponder the config... one always hold the flame to the 'balls'.... I leave that to the gentle reader to interpret as the thought just makes me squirm a bit.
We fell right between the rain bands. The weather was cooler tho a bit windy. Not much rain at all. It can be whacky how the scenario plays outs. We got lucky. I got a good bit of work done it the cooler weather and it was a real bonanza for me.
Pics ehhh..... I think I got one or two hangin round.
The little ones. Note some old Osmo girls in the older style pots. Had to kick one or two for fun.

I re-introduced Blue Dream into my grow. I've been having great luck with it now that I'm not growing in such an exposed space. Previously they were spider mite central. Now they're working out great in a fully enclosed grow space.
Here are some shots from her. She's a touch on the smaller side, but I slid her into bloom when she was small just to see what kind of bug she might attract.
Just a hairy girl that made me smile.
Oh.... I keep getting broken branches on my Jack H's. Buds just bend them down and the breaks. It seems somewhat less flexible than my other strains.

Are you still using Megacrop? Their new Vegan blend looks pretty decent though all of them I feel are too thin of calcium. If you're still using MC, my guess is the breaking branches on the Jack are due in part to less Ca.

A while back I went from using 5 droppers of CalMag per 5gal down to 3. I didn't see any spots... the Mag part... and just thought I was good.

Neither of those things actually exist in my world.
But yes, my toes are dry at the moment. Been pretty lucky this year all around in the weather department. Seems like when the rest of the country gets cooked, we cool down a few. Plays out fairly often that way.
