Tead's Indoor-ish, Winter, Hempy, OGK, SOG

Hey tead ur alive wasnt sure if maybe that rosin put ya dwn or what lol. Well hope the garden is doing great I'm currently waiting for some more QB's the one I wanted 260 watt qb304 XW they said they had but when I got it it was the XL not the XW plus it wasnt the QB304 it was the QB288 v2 which isnt what I paid for so had to send it back an now they dam tell me they are out of stock of the one I wanted lol an I'm like damit I shuda jus kept tht one an said send me the xtra money back or give me store credit or some shit lol. Now I dnt got a full QB light setup for my new hibrix run but it's ok cause I got 2 dwarf stars from Neil over at perfect sun and my 2 QB lights I already have plus now new genetics to play with oh boy I'm excited lol. Anyway jus wanted to stop by see how u an the garden are doing hope all is well brother :Namaste:

Lol hey I'm posting this in a few peoples journal in Hope's of getting some help from u fine 420ins lol. But yea I have 2 Pineapple Chunks going rite now and they are about 40 days old now one has these 2 lol hairs at each node and one just has the lil green stick part for lack of a better word lol and no hairs. Now I'm my horrible memory I think I remember sumthn about males and females having those lil hairs an one doesnt but I cant remember which or if I'm even right in my thinking lmao. But yea I'm jus tryn to figure out what one is the Male so I dnt toss the wrong one lol. Ok so here they are up first will be my Pineapple Chunk #1. I hope this one is a female more then the other one cause I've had more success at cloning this paticular plant. Actually all the clones I took from this plant made it an are alive. So it wid be nice to be able 2 flower her out lol. Plus her over all structure is exactly what I wanted to try out the typical Christmas tree style. I fimmed it only once an jesus the bottom jus blew out huge. I was able 2 get like 6 clones off it an it didnt even look like I touched it at all an didnt even slow a beat lol.

Then here we got my Pineapple Chunk #2. I topped this one like I normally do an idk if it's cause of that or genetics or what. But the side branches are staying really thin an weak seeming. Atleast compared to the other one #1 anyway. Thts y I hope #1 is a female an not this one or both be female I'd be fine with tht as well haha. Maybe I jus got spoiled on #1 once I got my xmas tree look lmao. But the side branches on #1 are thicker N hardier compared to this one #2. They jus seem thin an weak so I hope this isnt the only female. If any1 cud help me out that would be great thanx every1 an :Namaste:

My eyes are shit so I won’t bother with my opinions because the sighted folks will have better ones. But what comes to mind is that I’ve only ever seen PC in feminized form. Are you sure you have regular seeds?

I didn't know PC only came Fem, but I do now. I don't know how to judge preflowers, but I suggest rooting some clones and put them straight into 12/12 to find out what's what. Otherwise do what I did with my 2 PCs and just send them in as if you knew in advance they were fems.

Blazin', I think it's too early to tell on #2. :hmmmm:

I can see some teensy stuff that might be male, but it also might not. You should know a lot better in another 5 days or so.

#1 is definitely a girl, though. :thumb: It's the pair of wispy hairs that gives them away.

Yea atleast I think so cause I bred them my self lol. So maybe I'm wrong but they look different one has these 2 lil white hairs above a lil green leaf or stem or sumthn idk what it's called. But its at the base of each node where they connect to the plant. What I did was I had a hermied Pineapple Chunk way back when I first got the seeds like 2 years or so ago. Well It got a ton of these nanners all over and the buds were pretty wimpy mostly jus leafy material but had alot of frost on them so that's y I originally kept it to make concentrate. Well then I harvested it and found out I actually had pollen in those nanners an thanx to this great site an all u fine folks some1 mentioned y not use that pollen an make some beans then I would be able to grow pineapple Chunk anytime I wanted. So I collected it and put it on the second one I had that didnt throw out a bunch of nanners n got seeds. Well I tried running them that very next round and 2 of the 4 beans I ran threw out a ton of those nanners but the other 2 were fire females jus like when I first bought the seeds. So I thought that meant they were now regular cause some mite have nanners an barely any buds but frosty tho lol. And then the other has tons of buds major frost but no nanners. So isnt that Male and female or am I wrong?

Ok awesome man thanx alot that was the one I was cheering for to be a girl Haha. Ok so the twin wispy hairs means a female got it check lol. Thanx guys for all the quick help this has jus made my day. Now I know that I got the one I wanted for a female I can jus go ahead an pull the other instead of waiting for it to show it self. An i now know how to find the Male versus female out of the group so I can go take the other males out now to. Well the ones that are showing there sex already lol. Yea I'll now have room for my training of the hibrix girls I'm guna be putting in the ground prolly 2morow. I started germing today so they shud pop a tail an be ready for the dirt ina day or two considering they r new genetics.

No technically that wouldn’t be a difference of female vs male - it would be female vs hermaphrodite.

Nanners are a hermaphrodite flower (which is a self pollinating form of a female plant) and don’t actually carry male genetics.
The seeds created by nanners can produce both hermie plants and female plants, like you experienced, but they’ll never grow a straight-up male. Male flowers (seed pods) aren’t quite the same thing and look a bit different.

Man.. . it’s getting late :lot-o-toke: and the more times I try to type this way out in a simple way that makes clear sense, the more confusing I make it. Basically there are quite a few variations between a straight male and a straight female.

With these two plants I figure from what you’ve said that you won’t ever get a true male. But you could get either hermies or females. If they’re hermies then you won’t usually know right away. They might not show their hermie thing till late in flowering. So you’re probably going to have to keep checking them or keep posting them for others to check.

Oh dam that sucks lol well shit. I guess I'll jus run these and keep a close eye on them an post frequent pics of them for others to help me out as well. Thanx man I really appreciate the help.

Basically the later that hermies show up, the less of a problem they tend to be. The kind that show up in late flowering aren’t really an issue. Plants that are looking all hermie in the beginning - it’s best to just toss them. So as time goes on there will be less reason to worry, IMO.

Yea that's what I ended up jus doing lol. Well all but one I kept cause it was the one I wasnt a 100% sure on. An I've done a ton of training so guna keep it alil bit longer jus incase it's a good one lol.

Hey tead or any1 who has grown any of these ultradogs. I was wondering if I should bother keeping this one its a 32 day old seedling an like no side branching going on at all. An since I have 3 left going now tht need to be uppoted i was wondering do u think i shud jus replace this one with one of the others?

These top 3 are the last 3 ultradogs I got to germ on me the rest didnt pop a tail. The bottom left is a GSC clone.

These in the above pic were the last 3 I got to pop a tail an actually make it above ground. I started my 8 ultradog beans I had left an only 5 popped tails. Then out of those 5 these 3 only made it above ground. So wondering if I should jus replace the older seedling in my first pic with one of these what does every1 else think?

Geez.... many pages behind on my on thread.

Only time for a photo fly by this morning... I'll jump on words later.

The bloom room. I've got a few pulled out for photo purposes. Headcount is currently 12 (3 rows 4 columns).

Here's a UD finishing up.

This is a Jack Herer about 1/2 way thru bloom.

Off to the races!

Dam brother those buckets are full lol doing hempy style in 5gal buckets I love it lol. I did a 7.5 and a 10gal garbage buckets lmao once in hempy jesus it was so much perlite . It was funny when I went to get the perlite if I didnt already know the guy who worked there it prolly wuda been really weird lol. But I ended up getting 4 huge ass bags. An each bag came up to my chest an that was with it jus sitting on the ground lol. But yea could u imagine the clerk seeing some one buying dam near a 1000 pounds of perlite (lol not really a 1000lbs) they wud be like what the hell u need that much for hahaha. But yea I love that UD got there she looks yummy. Hey I was wondering do u use a humidifier in ur grow area? If so what is the brand I'm tryn to find a humidifier for my grow space that actually fukn works lol. I've bought 3 30 dollar ones and 2 different 100 dollar ones and thy all kinda suck except this last one finally gets the humidity up another 3 to 7% so I guess better then nuthn lol. It's good for flower when u I need alil lower humidity but for veg when I need it more it's still alil low for my liking. Specially when these HB girls igot get going.

It’s quite easy to spot a male when they grow next to each other. The males are about 50% faster and stretchier, long internodes from the start. And this one looks like one. Can you see any balls? I’d move him in the dark corner for another week to be sure in a small pot just in case, but it’s your call.

Ok thanx for letn me know. I decided to keep it jus in case it was a female lol. I actually jus transplanted 3 more ultradogs into bigger pots. So hopefully soon I'll have some nice clones able 2 b taken. Then ill jus flip the clones to 12/12 rite away an sex them that way.

The new ones look like females :)

That would be awesome let's hope all three are female lol. It's funny I had these beans sitting in my stash n I forgot about them 4 the longest time right. Well it was getting time again to get some more beans/newer genetics and I kept seeing abunch of people running chemdog or variants of it and I really wanted to run some and when I went threw my stash these fell out an I was like wow I had a chemdog strain the whole time n had forgotten lol. But yea I'm hoping to find a good female then ima clone it and run it using docs HB kit.
