Tead's Indoor-ish, Winter, Hempy, OGK, SOG

I myself have no faith in names anymore. Take Blue Berry, everyone has a Blueberry strain, yet they all use different parents. But there is only one orginal Blue Berry, all the others are attemps to copy the strain. Same with White Widow and Chem Dawg. If they are lucky and have a cut of the 'Real' one, they do the reverse and have fem seeds. Either it's bad weed, good weed, better... To me, it's more important to find the better weed and keep it growing.
I'm trying acouple of Con's UD's myself. Time will tell if they can finish on time here in Oregon.

I side with that. Bad weed is just bad weed and it doesn't matter how it looks or is called and the same applies to good weed. Indoor or outdoor it's not really important, I've smoked terrible indoor bud in my life as well as an excellent one, the same with outdoor one. A lot depends on the grower.

More thoughts on your UD SS...
The leaves really have a pronounced bulge out towards the tips. The vein color vs the leaf color is always an indicator of health and nutrient levels in my eyes... yours are really in the smack dab middle of what I like to see.

Is that a good thing? I'm still new to the nute thing. I'll be growing the clone with Grow Better nutes instead of the Osmo. She'll be healthier, you watch. I got a decent profile shot of her today while she was getting watered. I did a wee bit of defoliation.

I think the bulge is more a pheno trait... not a health indicator. The color tho.... super.

One of the first of my Osmo fed PVC pots.... this was an OGK. The pot is 6L... 6"wide and 12"tall. Knocked all the perlite out of the root mass that I could... some rain bumped more out.

Put this one together before I discovered the orange caps.

My vinegar bottles measure 6" across and 7" deep. That allows for a decent root mass, but now you have me curious.

I'll be planting the next Candy Cane in a 3 gallon bucket.

I grew in those for a long time. The PVC tubes are only 6" round while the 3gal buckets were about 12" wide. I had more height in my world than footprint area, so the skinnier format is attractive to me.

Good point. I keep forgetting about the footprint. Lol! Maybe I can talk Hash Hound into cutting a piece down for me. I no longer have any saws other than razor saws on hand. Makes it mighty convenient to have a handyman member right down the road.

Your standard hand saw will work. They make some with finer teeth called 'finishing' saws.... they'd be a touch better than your standard crosscut hand saw. A largish hacksaw works too. I have one of those vibrating undercut saws.... makes really quick work of it. A dremel tool with a cutting blade might work too.

I gave all of those tools you list to the model railroad club. I knew I'd never need them. :laughtwo:

So... got my usb microscope replaced finally. Not so sure I like what I see.
The borg problems continue because of my own laziness. That's over. Nuking the entire space with a fine mist and even spraying the mist into the fans to blow it all around. Hitting all surfaces of all plants including the medium.
Damn borg. Should be eradicated in 2 or 3 more days. I'll do the full treatment for the next 5.

Red circles.... dead eggs.
Blue circles.... eggs that appear viable
Black circle.... dead borg... note extra black spots.
I did see 2 live borg.

Eeek! The USB microscope has popped up in so many discussions here, I finally broke down and ordered one. You are all such a bad influence. Seems it's the perfect tool to check the plant for unwelcome beasties.

Man.... I keep gettin the 'itchies' after this photo session.

I know that feeling. I went into that tent naked and straight into the shower afterwards. I was parionoid as hell that I'd transfer the vermin to another plant.

All it takes is one survivor. Your attack plan sounds like it'll work. We're with you in spirit. :hugs:

The borg numbers fall... but still seeing them so the spraying continues.

The AC tripped today during a t-storm...

And I think Betty's done for. Damn.

Gave me the creeps watching him moving about. And Damn! That's hot!

Crap! Can Betty be replaced? Surely, somewhere in this world that can still be purchased.

Well.... Betty was far from perfect really. It took several button presses to review H/L info and that info had to be manually reset. The next option may include a network connection and some improved recording and logging functionality. I may have to roll my own... not really seeing what I want without dropping an enormous dime. For the record... I think my misting did her in... perhaps the mix covered her sensor or cross connected a circuit.
Still... 1 less source of exposed skin in my world. Tead like to see those statistics rise rather than fall.
