Gorgeous day for drying - 51% RH :)

Nice looking buds too :)

Dehumidifier ~3' from the box set at 55%. Such low humidity generally doesn't descend upon us naturally under these moons.
Small buds... 2L grow pots after all. Still, way dense and wonderful. The last UD offered up just shy of 2oz.

Diggin the music this morning with a crazy eclectic music list.
In order of appearance....
Dorothy Moore - Misty Blue
Willie - Funny How Time Slips Away
Arlo - City of NO
Young MC - Bust a Move (crazy bass player... very Flea-esque)
The Band - The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down
Willie and RayRay - Seven Spanish Angels
Grand Funk Railroad - Some Kind of Wonderful
Three Dog Night - The Road to Shamballa
George T - One Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer
The Temptations - Pappa Was a Rolling Stone
Little Feat - Dixie Chicken
Lobo - Me and You and a Dog Named Boo
Golden Earing - Radar Love
Dixie Chicks - Traveling Soldier
En Vogue - Hold On (friggin love acapella stuff)

It goes on... and becomes even more eclectic with the inclusion of some Was Not Was and 2nu, but that's just getting too strange to admit.

Grow room construction continues today... weather permitting. I'll be making the framed walls into solid walls with the Reflectix on one side and black plastic forming the outer shell. The walls are 2" thick, so that gives me a pretty good insulation area. Fun stuff.

A couple of shots from this morning's watering...

I soooooo should not have put 2 plants in 1 pot here. Next one will get a PVC pot.

And then there's some bud porn... just 'cause I can! UD4

2 oz out of 2 liter is a pretty good haul. :)

Nice playlist - Bad to the Bone was on my mental playlist during my shower this morning. It could have been any one of those.

I am not allowed thoughts about construction and stuff yet, I have to keep myself clean until after dinner with the aunt-in-law. Should be a good affair: she likes to feed us and pack us off with food 15 minutes after dinner is finished. Still I can't go into the garden except to pick flowers for a table decoration :)

Yep - That is looking too much like a regular bush for your perpetual sea-of-green garden.

I feel it's a right respectable starting point. I should note that plants harvested up to this point have spent at least 1/2 their time under weaker lights. The boost in watts has really been surprising and will play out quite nicely in upcoming harvests.

I'm still working out the kinks. The walls pictured had to be reduced by a few inches in both length and height... meh!
I've got 2 walls reconfigured, and a third wall cut but not assembled. The last wall is the trickier one with the AC input.
I haven't settled on what to do for a roof. I suspect a simple layer of Reflectix will do... tho I might frame it in.
The door I landed on will be a framed door with latches at top and bottom holding it in place. More of a removable hatch really. Seems better for keeping the cool air in.
The gumbo of plans firms.. but still adjusting for flavor.

Yea... bad fit for such a small garden. When most your plants take up less than 1sq/ft, the red pot seems like a behemoth. I was really just too damn lazy to replant them in Osmo+. The lazy grower must now pay for his sins. Oh wait.... that seems relevant given the season... there should be some tie in there. It's the end of Lent.... hmmmm.... I'm tryin, but not seeing the direct connection. Perhaps a touch more UD will help.

Clippy clippy!

UD3... I think... gotta be. Found a male flower stuck to my fingers while pulling fan leaves. Might be seeing some seeds somewhere in my garden

Hmmm take a close look at these buds and check if you can find more nanners. If you don't that might've been result of anything like environment shock or flowering for too long, but if you do I'd consider putting her clones on the back burner... unless you totally love the smoke.

I like this drying box. The simplicity of design made me smile. The bungee cords are a great touch. I've been considering a change in the way I dry, and this is something like what I was tossing around inside my head. Mine hang in the hallway, which is shadowed and has a decent amount of air movement, and they dry enough to jar in about four days. I hear talk that taking a week to dry is a better option. I'm still on the fence about it though, because I can't see how cannabis this potent is losing anything in the way I dry now.

Plus, they look so cool hanging from that bow, don't they?

I've been smokin on it. Running into seeds... not too many and very young.
I'll let her clones run their course, but I see no reason to further replicate her.
Nothing special in the smoke department and not a great harvest amount... a gram under 1oz.

Love the bow/horns.... I'm still sure they're horns masquerading as a bow.

I use the box with the cover on. Leave the handle holes open and point the dehumidifier in it's general direction. Works.... plus you can set your own humidity levels. Drying in the swamps is damn near impossible without a trick of one sort or another.
I can usually smoke it after 3 days. 5 or 6 days for a full dry.

Dead Sexy!!:);)

We can blame the new lights for this. I've been a pig in slop since I plugged them in.
It's really nice. Now the garden performs as it should and I can focus on perfecting other things. Why oh why did I wait so damn long!?!?

Having fun are we? :laughtwo: +Reps for the sheer joy.

My doubled plants are smaller (except the Bubblelicious), and I used 5 gallon standard nursery pots for these. So, I think doubling up requires a 10 gallon, probably something taller than the plastic nursery pots. The trick is to get a container that is tall and takes up less floor space. Maybe a 10 gallon rectangular trash bin? If you have the headroom for a 24" tall bin and the mature plant.

Since you scrog, the height requirement might be too high for that application. But for growing free, it IS an option.
