It's fun seeing everyone starting to eat their cobs.
Hmmm not sure if that sounds vaguely obscene or if I'm just stoned.
Two days ago I ate .25 of a Honduras cob. It was great. Not an overwhelming high with that little amount - but I was still impressed considering that Honduras is considered a weak weed.
( Actually that is the reason I originally bought it. I emailed Ace looking for a 'weak weed' that a person could smoke all day and still survive, and Honduras is what they recommended. )
Anyway... the high was happy and great and went on for hours. I clearly remember thinking 'wheee!' more than once.
I had a thought yesterday.
I'm wondering if anyone here has any input since most of you guys probably know more about this stuff than me.
Weed has to be decarbed to get you high. Right? People say that eating fresh bud won't get you high. Not sure I believe it - but I read it on 420, so it must be true.
The few lab test results I've seen mostly show near zero THC. It's all in THCa form.
I do read/understand that aging decarbs weed. My Honduras was around six months cured day. But I'm guessing that the cobbing process decarbs it too- and faster. Why else would it work so well to eat it....
Anyway it got me thinking.
As an experiment yesterday I ate .3 of the regular dried and cured Honduras. The same bud that I had used to rehydrate and make them cobs from.
Obviously .3 dried is quite a bit more than .25 of moist cob.
It maybe had a slight effect. But barely any. After over two hours I said 'F it it's 420!' and smoked a big bowl of GT. After that I was high...
Today I ate .7 of the dried Honduras and actually did get a nice little buzz. But considerably weaker than the cob high.
Hmmm...
