Tangwena's Malawi-Style Cob Cure: Fermented Cannabis

LOL....she was with me for a little while. Now she is with me in another realm. Her head is comfortably on my shoulder but she is in la-la land.

I am very excited to try the COBs. I will be doing a harvest every 2-3 weeks, with different strains so lots of variation in our future for sure. Indicas, Sativas, CBD strains, Hybrids.....I am going to do them all.

Good to hear. We haven't begun to explore them as medicine yet, but the CBD strains will be an interesting adventure, don't you think?

Ok, you knew I'd have to go looking m'lord. That was sneaky. Lol!

Sexxpot is well-marketed, and we all know the value of perception and expectation. There's a basic set of rules for cannabis and sex: men need to stop smoking earlier than women or they'll be too....distracted. Women need to watch overconsumption or they run the risk of being frustrated by a lack of afterglow.

It didn't surprise me that a lower THC would work well here, and I'll keep that in mind. I'll be looking for a terpene profile on Mr Nice. We understand terpenes enough to realize they had more to do with effect than the simple ratios of cannabinoids.

Those of you with partners will begin to share special benefits from cobs. As they mature, those made with good sativa profiles apparently behave somewhat like ecstasy. Have fun guys and gals. :battingeyelashes:

LOL

Just an idea that crossed my mind...... I wonder what a cob with a mix of two strains....... Indica/Sativa would be like. Magically delicious!!! :rollit::volcano-smiley:

You could be the first to try Scottay. :battingeyelashes:

Oh my!!!! I just made an Amnesia Auto cob. Now I have three months to find someone to try it with! Lol

Those benefits aren't confined to partnered cob enthusiasts. :battingeyelashes:

Heres a section of the main cola from a Panama I grew after 3 months aging. It is drying now ready for use tomorrow ha ha.
The Panama x Honduras is just starting to wear off after 8hrs of crazy effects that were overwhelming on more than one occasion ha ha.
Sue I find the sexy strains to be anything that pics me up in the sativas. This one I tried today had me looking at every woman as a sex object and also a thing of great beauty and wonder. I could have easily fallen deeply in love with any of the women I saw.
Its what I love the most its the feeling of being 16 again and full of wonder at the world I see.
The Thai pheno of Golden Tiger is especially good in that respect. I focus on a womans best point it might be her eyes or her ears and that sets me off.
Every chick I see, I see only her finest points and they are highlighted and amplified its beautiful to feel all amazed and in awe again not jaded as I am when not high.
Speaking of which and to keep things on track hers some pics its crazy to think I only need 0.1g of this baby and everythings ultra cool again. Beautiful women included ha ha.

I opened mine this evening after 3 weeks curing and wow! Through the loupe they look like they're crusted with candied sugar. They've definitely gotten darker, but still very vivid and distinct colors. I left them out to dry to the touch again, which only took about 20 minutes this time. They got re-wrapped vac-sealed and now sitting on the cable box for a couple more weeks. I know I can go at least that long before I need to check them again.
Its a rule of cob club never to talk about cob club but to randomly turn people on with them.
Its also in the fine print that at the 3 week cure mark a taste must be submitted to your mind for evaluation.
So you need to hack off 0.5g and give it a good testing by chewing it like crazy for 10 mins and then post a half page essay on any random subject 2 hours later.
This is for assessment by the members here who will let you know how you went because you will not remember ha ha

My first cobs are one week old today. Sweat was 35 hours and have rested on the cable box for the time since.

Questions: Do I open vacuum bag today and unwrap the corn husk? Do I check for moisture or perhaps have to dry them slightly? I don't see any moisture. I know I'll smell them.

If I take them out of the corn husks for inspection....do I re-wrap before resealing the vacuum bag?

Did you take a taste Jimmy? You have to try. How will you judge the evolution if you don’t test at every stage? :battingeyelashes: I know you’re testing.

Take them out of the cob wrapping, let them dry to the touch and seal them back up again. Open once a week for evaluation. :slide:

You’re in for a treat my friend. :yahoo:

It’s Tuesday....Malawi cobs! :yahoo::slide::yahoo:

I just had the first hit and got so excited I nearly ran over here. The smoke is sooooooo smooth, and the scent of afterglow is amazingly delicious ..... I don’t recall ever calling the smell of the lingering smoke cloud delicious. Lol!

Wait...I need another hit. I may not chew after this one lol!

Hahaha! Took me a minute of looking around to find the bright red Crop King Seeds lighter sitting in front of me.

Alright....going back in......

Daaamn! The smell reminds me of fine, fine pipe tobacco. Weird, but wonderfully fragrant. I could sit in this cloud all day. Lol!

Ok.... pretty pictures. It’s been a month in cure for this class. I’m saying this is a winning process right here and now. @JustMeds, someday we meet and I wrap these loving arms around you. Count on it. :kisstwo:

@DrDoob, the white spot?

Smashed cloudy trichomes. :slide:

I’m gonna take one more hit and jump in the steamy shower. Let’s get this day rockin’! I get to call BINGO this morning.

Oh guys......we found a gold mine here, didn’t we? This is what being high was supposed to feel like all along.

Wait until I get a Columbia Gold in cobs. :yahoo:

I need more space to grow and lights to fill it up like the sun.

One day someone’s gonna market these. I’d bet my life on it. Good God, this is incredible! I’m in awe.

Damn alot happens around here in a few days..... Look very nice Sue... Between the pics you and T posted just recently I have saved a good idea in my Cob Folder for future reference... Thx Guys Green Days...

This is wild and wonderful and definitely not for the faint of heart Hacker. We look forward to your eventual cobbing adventure. What sativas do you have going?

Burns clean. White ash..... and that wonderful smell. Geez.... I wasn’t expecting this. The smell is unlike any cannabis cloud I’ve walked through.

Edit: Sweeter, and that slight tobacco memory it triggers is so unusual.

Cali D, and Something the guy I got it from call Midnight Oil... Looks more like a Haze to me, possible it could be Straw Haze, he had that last year and it looked remarkably like these.... He is a bit ummmm unorganized the old hippy.... LOL.. But I will be cobbing My Headband, and hopefully some CC that a wonderful person gifted me... Most of those around me are not interested in the cobs, so it will be a me thing... Till I let them try it... LMAO suckers.... Green Days Sue... and all

1 Week reveal. Well, the bags did actually have some visible moisture and the corn husks were damp. Cobs were also damp so I dried them a bit and stuck them back in for another vacuum sealing. Aroma was thick and heavy but I can't even come close to explaining it. Let me say it's about what I expected.

Color appears to be very similar to others seen here although some green exists. They're actually quite beautiful with the orange and reds and browns all mixed together.

Sue I did taste it but didn't dose any. I can wait. Traveling on my Labyrinth this rainy-ass morning.

The first few pictures of the cob sitting on the corn husk were taken under different light.

Excellent Jim! :high-five: They’re beautiful. :battingeyelashes:

I love the markings left by the corn husk. It’s interesting how they mellow out as the cure continues on.

I’m just finishing up my 0.3 grams of Malawi cob. I still have another half hour before I start to head out to the senior center for lunch.

I have no idea what to expect. Lol!
