Tangwena's Malawi-Style Cob Cure: Fermented Cannabis

Lovely colors thats always a good indicator of a good cure, of course the smell is the clincher but going on the pics it looks like you aced it my friend.
With a name like ac/dc its got a lot to live up to ha ha. I wish I was able to sample some of the cobs on this forum they all look so tasty from where I am sitting
The smell is incredible

Both have a pungent, I guess, fruity smell, very intense

Excited to see how they turn out

The first of Fx girls was harvested yesterday so I began the cob process early this morning. It was like learning to roll a joint all over again. Fun

The herb was barely dry but easy to work with. Total weight was 44.2 grams. The little hand held vacuum sealer worked really well. The sealed bag is now on top of the seedling mat with the temperature probe between it and the bag. I set it at 104 F and watched it achieve that temp. Now we wait until tomorrow to see what happens.

Sweat babies, sweat

Let me know if you see anything wrong.

not corn husk, cuz I still can't find corn

Maybe they call it maize in your neck of the woods, lol?

Parchment paper or banana leaves, maybe? Or tobacco leaves?

Damn! We need an international sponsor for vacuum food saving systems. Lol!

There's a thought, ha ha ha. <COUGH>TAG, you're it!<COUGH>

Jim,

I know Sue didn't have the cobs directly on the mat. She put clothespins under to "insulate" from the mat. I don't know if it makes a difference.

It will make a difference. It’ll accelerate the fermentation. @MagicJim, see what you can do to get some space between the cobs and the mat.

Buzzing right along here guys. :battingeyelashes:

And Jim.... how much fun is this? :kisstwo:

Every time someone else jumps into the game I jump for joy. :yahoo:

Has anyone done it with a cbd strain? I have a sativa dominant cbd strain I just took down and might jump on the band wagon.
I have an ACDC curing now

Wondering if it changes the minimal high at all

I believe you'd be the first Derbybud. :battingeyelashes: I'd certainly be interested in your results. I'll eventually grow a Candida, and plan to cob some at harvest, but I'm months away from even planting.

That's right. I forgot about that one Chris. Cool! I'll get to taste that one. I will, won't I? :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

I think I'm not going to rush on this one. I have 2 more to harvest in about 4-5 weeks.(flipped 3 1/2 weeks ago) I'll get things ready and do a trial run making sure everything can be reached, monitored, and held to temps.
