Tangwena's Malawi-Style Cob Cure: Fermented Cannabis

Cured tobacco can take months to years to be "usable"

I wouldn't use green tobacco for cobs. I _do_ however have a couple pounds of cured leaves coming from FairTradeTobacco and WholeLeafTobacco to start practicing "rollin' my own" so could use some from there.

sounds like u are way ahead of me
I am not sure how to find anything organic or non-chemical here, apart from growing it.

Ah, I didn't even check to see if the leaves I'm buying are organic... :-(
Wel, if they are not, can you re-sell them?
Hopefully you have access to organic there.

Sounds good Scotts. Only, it will take me some time, as first I will have to get organized to grow it...

I totally understand. My home was burglarized a while back and me and my other half Weezy are relocating. Moving this coming Friday/Saturday. I've purchased a nice little 3x3 tent. As soon as she and I get settled I'll get it fired up. I'd like to try to fit 3 seven gallon pots in there and see what I can pull off inside with a little practice. Until then... Hurry up and wait. 😎✌️

I'm assuming since it's not mentioned to be organic, it's not. I probably only consume a few organic things daily, and while I was organically growing, I did use essential oils for bug sprays during the grow and washed with tap (chlorinated) water and (non-organic) lemon juice. Seems like my own "organic" dope, ain't.

Well, that was close enough to 3 months 😂
I opened one bag of two test cobs of older NL Auto CBD weed I was not sure would ferment, because it was old and brown (long story).
It fermented just great, and it tasted much better than I thought it would. That was a nice smooth-as-silk body high.
:slide:
Lab tests cost $75 each here, and I do not have $150 for twp tests right now, but I could feel the CBD in the test sample, so as far as I am concerned (speaking only for myself), I feel cleared to put CBD into the cob. And the potency is something else! In my mind I am comparing with concentrates.

Thank you, Tangwena.

Thank you, Tangwena.
Congrats on your cob! Glad it turned out well. Happy Saturday!! 😎✌️

Did you eat it or smoke it or vape it?
Sounds good!! 😎✌️
I ate three little bitty nibbles off pf one end of the cob (basically broke and ate the point of the cob), basically maybe the size of a pea, in three sessions.
that is gonna be a little bit deceptive because yes maybe it is only the size of a pea, but it is a lot of compressed bud material.
It is definitely way stronger than decarbed canna dust (and the effects more "fermented" 😂 ).
If you put it in a veggie capsule, I imagine you could probably take them discreetly almost anywhere (traveling)...

I tried vaping some. It was good. I am not sure how well my grinder grinds it up, really (and I just discovered that my grinder broke a tooth!).
Is there a best way to grind it?

I wouldn't worry about the broken grinder tooth. I'm glad you liked the effects. Happy Wednesday to you!! 😎✌️

Yeah, except WHERE did it go?? (Because I eat the vape tailings in my food 😂)

I sure hope it passed through ok!! ✅ 😂

What to do with those wispy calyx type buds.
Not my pic.

I'm still getting to know my fermented.

I was just doing some test launches with the test cobs. I did notice that I have eaten much more of the sativa Afghan Mass XXL Auto than the NL CBD Auto. I think if I had more sativa CBD and fermented that I would use it a lot more.

I think in general, just due to the stony, narcotic, "rubber soul" aspects of the cob, I think I will cob more sativa next time. (I am just realizing that I do not have any sativa CBD one-to-one photos, so I just ordered some seeds, and now I just have to fake it for the next nine months! 😂 )

What kind of dose do you eat?

Not very much. I try to remind myself that this is compressed flowers before fermentation, so maybe each one of those is like maybe one nug??
One of those three would be a nice afternoon, all of that together is an intense afternoon!
I hope this is helpful.

I'm hoping to cob some up by the end of the year!! 😎✌️

It is good you got a great result from it, I find a little goes a long way.
