Tangwena's Malawi-Style Cob Cure: Fermented Cannabis

Can't wait to try this when my clusterbomb is done in a few weeks!!

We can't wait to walk you through the process Jody. :welcome: to arguably the most exciting thread in the neighborhood at the moment, discounting the celebration over at that AngryBird's nest with her flight to freedom. Lol!

Clusterbomb sounds like it's meant to blow the day up with euphoria. That makes it a great candidate for cobbing. :battingeyelashes:

I'm making the start of this day all about Dark Devil Auto, starting with a freshly-cleaned bong so I can get the full flavor of the flower with the first couple hits, and following up with a little smoked cob. The cob is three hits to every hit of flower because it burns so slow, and let me tell you, those three hits have me kinda spinning. Lol!

This cob and the bud are at the three mark point, or very close to it, and man! What a difference a few months make, eh guys? The continual potentiation of the cob material never ceases to impress me. Sure am glad I cobbed that whole plant. :battingeyelashes::green_heart:

I'm down to that teeny piece you see in the background, off to the right, so it must be time to crack the bag open and cut off another chunk. I'm thinkin' today might be a good one to see how far I can push it smoking cob. Lol! I still have an hour until breakfast time. :slide:

Anyone else noticing the cob's going much further than bud? I don't roll joints, which may increase consumption rates.

Some Mulanji finger hash.

Did you bring enough to share with the whole class?

OK.... It took me the greater part of an hour to finish that second mini bowl of DDA cob. I'm glad breakfast preparations don't include more than "grind coffee, boil water, push buttons, eat."

You all have a splendiferous day. :ciao:

Sue if you get some finger hash seal it as per cob and heat it for 48 hrs as per cob then age it as per cob then tell me what you think as per cob.
Do you see the future?

I've come close Tangwena. Lol! I'm coasting on infused fudge sativa snowflakes at the moment, getting ready to pull out the cob and continue the adventure after I've had dinner. Lol!

I think my next cob adventure will be simply squishing the branches like I did with the apical cola. I really like pulling off cobbed buds better than slicing a formed cob apart. Much easier to deal with.

I trim so delicately that I almost never get a significant amount of finger hash or scissor hash. I'm amazed at what you guys get. I often make oils with my buds, so I can get away without much close cutting. Should I change my ways I'll remember these instructions.

You should see what I get on the appliances, kitchen top and on my face ha ha. Not saying I'm sloppy but I do my best work tripping and getting stuck to everything is par for the course ha ha.

I like both cobs and cola buds, but I hear you on selecting a cured piece of a cola like in your pics. Nothing better I reckon seeing what you picked.
I have a couple of Mulanji colas both done differently, going for a golden cure on one and a fermented red and dark orange on the other.
They are still young but once their ready in a couple of months I will post pics.
I cant wait to try them the high is like being a court jester in medieval times. It really makes everything crazy and you just laugh your ass of at everything its very cool stuff.

I am going to build a Sweat / Cure box. It will consist of a Styrofoam shipping container, a digitally controlled heating mat and a thermometer with a remote sensor. Box will be able to be set for 104 for sweating and 78 for fermenting. Everything has been ordered from the rain forest ( except the foam container...that is recycled from work.) I will post pics when everything get here and I assemble it. Stuff should be here Saturday, and probably chop on Sunday.

The nice thing about having a perpetual garden. You have a constant supply to play with. :circle-of-love::peace:

Welcome Dave. :hugs: You’ve been around me enough to know I don’t stay still very long. Lol! I know you’re gonna like this. The smooth smoke alone makes it worth the time and effort.

Document that DIY cob-a-tron for us please. :battingeyelashes:

Hey guys... I have a treat. While I was at DrDoob’s I took some pictures of him cobbing some OG Kush to share here.

Enjoy. :green_heart:

And the finished cobs.

Nice, sounds like the Cob-O-Tron that @JustMeds posted a while back. I love the one I made, works great!
Bring on the Cobs!

A couple of quick questions. I am only about 17 pages through and the answers may be there, but here you go.

I make a lot of infused oils. Do you change an of your ratios when making oil with cobs? I currently use 1g/oz of oil along with 1T lecithin per cup of oil. For my brownies, I powder the bud with a coffee grinder and use everything. Also, has anybody soaked the cob in a carrier oil infuse with lecithin before chewing.:thanks::circle-of-love::peace:
