Journal is a good idea, if sampling the cob's for taste while making mental notes, be warned them notes are not where you put them the next day.
I use notecards, and I’m forever looking for them.
I know... I just want to see a Willy Wonka cob factory.
You aren’t alone. Both Brix and Doob have suggested “loading” the cob.
I’m thinking treat them like cheese and chocolate, always better at room temperature?
Good thought. Next time I’ll do that.
I’m sure I read somewhere that coconut oil/butter is also one of the better options for variety.
From an ingested medicinal standpoint I think olive will remain the superior choice, with small exception, but coconut brings lots to the table to make it worthy itself.
Speaking of adding flavors... Check this out. I've never seen this stuff.
Doob gave me some to play with.
I don’t yet have a plan, but I will before long. Something to play with later.
Bobby, Doob says a little goes a long way, and you don’t want to apply to the material you’re treating. It’d work better to apply drops of terpenes onto a cloth and set it in a jar with the cob before sweating.
All new to me, so don’t take my word for it. Research. Have fun with it - like I have to tell you how to have fun. Lol!
Hi all. Ive just started an experiment infusing finely ground cob into coconut oil. I'll post a summary once its been 'tested'.
I can’t wait to hear your eventual report on the cured cob. It tickles me beyond belief how many of you caught cob fever. Tomorrow’s my birthday, and your initial report on the oil has me thinking that I may throw some into oil for my breakfast dose.
I'm excited to say my cob's survived it's first week of fermenting.
WooHoo! You watch, the smell will grow on you. Lol!
That’s a lovely cob, by the way. It’s obvious you’re enjoying yourself, and that’s what’s most important. The marvelous buzz is a bonus.
Moral of the story stick to the correct dose ha ha and wear a hat in the sun.
The effects to me are quite different from raw cob so your in for a good time checking out the difference brother.
Had me laughing every time I read it. Ok....definitely doing a quick infusion for a breakfast dose. Lol!
FPJ (Fermented Plant Juice) its a Korean Natural Farming thing.
That post of yours in the study hall was enticing. I’m going back to read it again today. I was wondering if you were playing with canna kraut?
Report on the Durban Poison cob after 1 week of fermentation. This is from my husband, as I have a very bad lung infection and cannot smoke at the moment. Smelled like cooked burdock root, with overtones of shrooms and a hint of citrus. Smoked very clean, very easy on the lungs, he is a cougher. Total cerebral high, made him want to create - he is a musician. Usually cerebral highs also come with adrenaline rushes for him, this one didn’t cause that. Can’t comment on how long it lasted, as he smoked before he went to sleep and fell asleep quite easily. Visually compared to the other cobs, DP left the cob purple!
Excellent report! I smiled, reading the many high points the cobbing brought to his experience. It’s moments like this that encourage me to keep following instinct.
How will you be using cobs? Oldbear offers an encouraging option with simple infusion.
Gosh.... you guys do good work. I’ll do my best not to fall a week behind again guys. Lol! There were too many things I had to not comment on. Not that you need me hovering. The support offered here is classic
Seems I can’t go anywhere without cobbing taking place. Doob’s recent OG Kush harvest found its way into corn husks a couple days back.
They started fermentation yesterday. Time for me to get some cob into oil. Hmmm, maybe DDA in the oil and chew Carn..... so many choices.
