Tales From The Krip!

I mention having too many beans from time to time. I figured I would let you see the collection as it stands right now.

No I haven't tried selling any seeds bud. I did think of selling my Animal Mints pack. I am still not sure that I want to though. I do need to find a way to work through all of these seeds at some point!

Very nice collection, Brother! :thumb:

I can't read a lot of them from the pic and I'm sure, like me, you have many that are lower priority on the list, but I'm voting that you pop that Slurricane soon! :yummy:

Thanks bud! A lot of them are hard to read, but it was hard getting everything into the pictures. I have popped the Slurricane. I popped one and it either died shortly after or was a weak plant that died after babying it. I then popped a second one and this is what I got:

I am happy with the pheno I have at the moment. I actually have not seen another pheno look like mine. I need to pop some more of my MAC seeds at some point, but just popped a Grape Marmalade, a Sugar Cane (thanks Ween!) and a Chiesel.

This is beautiful, Brother!

QUICK PIC UPDATE

The girls are loving their high brix soil but vegging is going a little slow, except for Tut #1, which is the only one of the four to get LST'd instead of topped, and she's an absolute monster. I've been supercropping her like crazy to try to keep her height in line with the others and she's now pretty much overflowing her container. She's also the one that was throwing the early 9-fingered leaves, so I have a hunch the sativa in her is gonna show during stretch. All four got their second Brix foliar today.

Here are the four girls...

The BAK just got some De-Stress Last night in addition to today's Brix foliar. She had so many toppings when in the veg cab that I had to thin the tops that were there and the ones I left are on some pretty scrawny stems I'm hoping with thicken up to support some heavy colas. She is filling out nicely though not as "thriving" as the others currently. I'm anxious to get this one on some GE ASAP, but it'll be another few days before a plain water, then another 7-10 before she gets her first GE:

The Fruit Punch is still the shortest of the three, but has finally filled in and looking nice and I'm anxious to see what she does when in flower. I kept a really nice clone of hers, too:

Because both of the Tut pics were taken from above shooting down, it's tough to tell the difference, but Tut #2 looks like a bush with a somewhat rounded top and thick canopy:

Tut #1 basically looks like her own SOG with a wide, spread-out canopy that keeps racing for the lights:

Other than that, I should be receiving both new seed orders this week and will likely pop the Blue Gelato 41, Blackwater, and Cotton Candy Cane and save the Hazeman seeds until I setup the breeding cabinet.

Happy Harvests!

K

Thank you bud! :Namaste: After I saw In House post their teaser pics of their keeper I knew I had to get a pack. I do not have a journal. I kind of just drop pictures here and there on peoples threads that tell me they don't mind. That picture is from my first round with her and I was tickled by how much frost she showed. I know both parental strains are frost monsters but to get a plant to look like this was new for me.

Very nice and you can post here anytime! :high-five:

Where did you get your IHG seeds? All the authorized seed banks on their website are places I'm not familiar with, although, I've seen some of their genetics offered on a few of the larger seed banks.

They've got some great-looking strains but at $150-$300 per pack, I'd be going nuts on non-germ's!

I will send you a PM bud! I got my Slurricane during the first drop and was lucky enough to get them on sale for $140 a pack. They now want $250 a pack for them! Absolutely insane. I was very unimpressed. One of my buddies grabbed a pack of JellyBreath S1's and only got 8 seeds instead of 10! Thats in a $200 pack. I would have lost my shit. I traded a couple of beans for a couple of his and had one not germ and the other one grew super slow and then up and died on me. I was upset and had I been him I would have lost my shit lol.

.... Not to celebrate one genetic over another, however we use ONLY InHouse at our pro grow... So far we have germinated around 300 beans, with about 25 no gos.. They were not only understanding, but quick to remedy the situation with More than enough replacements... They are expensive beans, not for the less experienced for sure... I am hoping this fall to end my thread with some sneak peaks inside our grow facility... With some good ass genetics... It is obviously legal here, but the dispensary laws are still being worked out... You can grow, or sell not both... Anyway just my pocket change on this one... I really think it is worth the money, IF you are looking to have a great mother plant for long term output...

My problem with In House's pricing is that they have started to gouge the customers. I had a hard time spending $150 on a pack at first. Now I would spend that on their gear if it was a fem that I really wanted. But instead of staying at that price point (which is where a lot of other very reputable breeders price their seeds at) they have just upped the price on almost all of their latest drops. They were already making very good money at $150 a pack. I feel like them going up to $300 a pack of fems and then going for $80-$100 for regs and now up to $150 is them just being super greedy. Their gear is very nice. 2 of my 3 frostiest strains have come from them and I am sure my Sugar Cane and Grape Marmalade will be very nice as well. I just have an issue with any company wantonly increasing their prices just because they can.

I just received my order from the big "A" from a couple weeks ago. It was missing a total of six seeds - all freebies from the Cali Connection promo. Three Girl Scout Cookies and three Green crack didn't make it. They were also, coincidently, the last two line items on the order, so I think they just never finished packing it. I sent them an email to ask how they want to handle it, so we'll see what happens. Aside from wanting the full order, those two strains were high on the freebie list! If I had spent $200 on those six seeds, I'd be a little more stressed than I am over the missing freebies, though! ;)

Hopefully, the took pictures or inventoried the order before it went out? :hmmmm:
That's a decent price on the Slurricane! :welldone:

Yeah, I've been looking at the IHG strains and know I'm gonna pull the trigger on some soon (sorry WMO - I do need help!) . I'll really want them when I start the breeding program I'm planning. Love to see the facility! :thumb:

I have only ordered from that site once and it was because of the freebies more than anything. My issue was at the time they did not take cards and to transfer money cost me $50. Which on top of my order was significant. BUt the freebies did make it worth it. The site I told you I prefer to order In House from has treated me really well. They forgot my In House freebies funny enough. We chatted back and forth via email and they were nice enough to not only send me the 3 seeds of my choice, but instead sent me 6 of them along with 3 of the strain I did not choose as a freebie! They more than made up for their mistake and they did not give me attitude or treat me like I was trying to scam them. Over all a great experience. They also sold me their very last pack of Purple Persuasion after I commented stating how badly I wanted them. they had been sold out on the site for a year and had been holding the pack back for someone that never came to pay or claim them. I was stoked.

We'll see if I get the same kind of customer service on my order. They emailed me that my order didn't qualify for the other two packs and that the promo had changed! :hmmmm:

I don't even know what they're talking about, I just know what the banner said when I placed my order. It appears it went into the card as a "Cali Connection Birthday Promo", so, unfortunately, the individual seeds aren't listed on the actual order itself.

I've ordered from them several times with no issues, but this may have been my last one!

That sucks. Epsecially when you had been planning on getting them. i would be a little upset about it. They are a very large bank I would think they would try to make you as happy as possible but that does not seem to be the case with the bigger ones.
