Swick, Soil, Photos - Multi Strain

Checked the water level in the bases. The back left, cookies kush, is drinking 1gal in 30-34hrs the last three waterings. The other three are 48hrs between watering, and at times still have a little left in the bases. It will make it a tad challenging to figure our a 7 day trip but with 2 gal bases and the auto water system, I can make it work....just need to check my math to get the timing right :)

Also upped her 5.75g MC last three waterings. Between the higher nutes and watering her leaves got better. Her branches are still flimsy and weak. I'll need to think on the best way to support.

Bamboo stakes are a pain and I'll need a ton as this fast drinking girl puts on weight. Every time before I go into the tent with bamboo stakes, I think of the Christmas Story "you'll shoot your eye out".

A few of the tallest colas directly unde the light are getting bleached looking at the end of the day period. At lights on they look better. The light is as high as it will go and those colas are 12-14 inches below but basically dead center under the light. I think I'm pushing the limits. Hopefully turning the plants every 10 days when I check the wicks helps. Tall colas all around them all.

I figure they'll just all lean on each other for support! And did I mention the Shed formula will make your plant look sativa? :cheesygrinsmiley:
She is really the nicest in the tent :)

Only problem with them leaning on each other is checking the wicks on the bases ha. That's why I let them run wild last grow for the last 30 days in flower ha. Getting them in and out is....fun ?:)

Just a few pics as the girls are doing well. I'll be removing them later this week at 12 days since the last wick check.

Cookies Kush-- MC. Sice upping to 5.75 a few feeds ago she's looking great. So far I'm avoiding my normal MC issue. The dolomite lime I added to the soil seems to be the difference.

I did adjust the light intensity up a little. With so many tall colas over the canopy, it's hard to get an even DLI reading. The tallest colas directly under the light are 50 DLI. The main canopy is 34 under the light and drops off as I move towards the edges. I may back it down some...not sure but will keep an eye on them. The tallest colas are not as white washed as they look in the pics.

They're making steady progress Tim!

Looking forward! :Rasta:

day 71 above ground, day 26 since flip

today was 12 days since last removing them from the tent, and their bases. A nice 2 hr process :) i did add bamboo stakes as well and string around the plants to help keep their form and get them out....and back in again
It wasn't easy! Also spun them 180 degrees as well which always makes it harder to get them back in :)

Also added some more spacers under the front right one to raise her canopy.

With the lanky talk girl out of the way, the tent shot looks good :)

Happy to report, not much root growth into the wicks. They were attached to the wicks but just barely. I may try 20 days before doing this again. The MC girl had much dirtier wicks than the GH.

And the tall lanky, slightly younger Acapulco Gold. I had to super crop one of.her main.colas that I had already super cropped....it was inches from the light. She's close to 6ft tall!

Keeping them all at the same feed schedules as they have been, all doing well.

Wow your tent looks good!
:welldone:
Hahaha, what amazed me was that you did things on a pale-colored carpet!! 🤣

Hey @InTheShed

Would you be able to run some numbers on this nute mix below?

I'm going away For a week and need to fill one reservior with one nute mix to feed all four plants. I'm leaning towards the Shed formula as it's doing well and that girl is the same strain as the MC fed one. The other girl getting GH trio is being fed the below and I'm curious how the numbers compare to the Shed Formula.

Micro: 6.5ml
Grow: 3.5ml
Bloom: 9ml

There is no mix I like using all three bottles, which is why I dumped the Bloom and added the epsom salt.

Those numbers give me:
104-56-140 which is too low in N and K for flower. After stretch I would be closer to 160-x-180.
Thanks, that's helpful. I.was curious how the two.compared as both are growing well. I think I'm going with the Shed formula in the main.reservior. the strain on MC is the same as the Shed girl so I know she will like it :)

As always, thanks

day 83 above ground, day 38 flower

i was away for a week and the girls, and auto water system, did well. However, with continuous high water in the bases the roots are stuck to the wicks and on some...the base top itself. I'll take then out of the tent later this week to clean and do a day 45 defoliation.

Cookies kush. Shed formula of GH. She had water still in her base, she seems to have slowed drinking.....I'll keep an eye on her and hope the roots aren't affecting the wicking action.

All is going well. These bases can be a pain at times with constant cleaning of the wicks...but I'm loving the results.

What a nice view to come home to Tim!

They're all looking healthy and lush.

You glad you left the AC in there? I know I am! 👀
