SweetSue's Perpetual 3.0 - The Hempy/HB Hybrid Grow

High SweetSue,

I really like the training you have done for the Jamacian. She looks like some primo smoke and/or oil soon. Reps to you for such a nice job.

Did you cut the Malawi, or am I getting over anxious wanting to see another pic. Btw, Chemdog is frosting up very nicely! Great job!

Good morning my good 420Mag friends, stay warm if you are anywhere east of the Rockies!

I'm almost over my winter break and ready to get back into the groove playing music, so ya'll won't have to put up with me filling Sue's threads with off-topic mind dumps for too much longer! Oh I LOVE retirement! I get to do what I want to do, everyday!

:thumb:

As described on Sue's closing Growant review thread, I assisted an elderly couple start up a new first time grow so they can make their own meds, mostly for him as an Alzheimer's patient, and for the general health for his wife (quality and consistent Blue Dream Tincture is the goal). I chose two Growant GR480 panels (influenced by Sue's success with one little 80 watt draw panel in a 2'x2') in a new MarsHydro tent 2'x4'x7' (nice upgrades have been made with the materials used by MarsHydro, good job, good value). After setup and dialing in air flow, temps and humidity, I tested the LED panels with my light meter last night (I once had a side gig installing, making and maintaining the habitat for commercial Salt Water Aquariums, thus why I have high end equipment). While I'm not going to map every square inch of values, I will offer that the panels deliver excellent PAR values and wavelength peaks in all the right areas, including a bit of UV. I took one of the panels apart (NOT a recommendation to anyone) to check out the build and component quality, and they look to be well constructed and good grade parts and pieces. The power connectors at the panel are threaded strain relief collars, a nice touch on low cost panels that eliminates arcing and well as unintentional power disconnect. The threads on one were a bit boogered up on the collar ring, but after just a little filling on the threads and all was well.

I moved three Blue Dream youngsters, in 5 gallon perlite buckets with air stone bubblers, from my tent into their new setup, and the plants are loving it in Veg, more than my Veg tent perhaps! :allgood: I'm going to need to have them watch the panel distance for a few weeks concerning leaf burn. It's funny to teach an 81 year old lady how to take a picture with her phone and send it to me! One thing I like about the MarsHydro Reflector series for new growers is they can accidentally let their plants grow almost right into the panels without leaf burn. Powerful enough to produce good buds, but not too much power in inexperienced hands. When growers are new to this indoor sun thing, it's nice to eliminate newbie problems until they get comfortable and more experienced. Thank God for LED, I wouldn't feel safe advising an elderly person concerning the use of the HOT lamps I have used over the years, they can be a major fire hazard.

Alright folks, mind dump over, off to a meeting, and then practice session. Time to make these hands TRY to do what they could 50 years ago! If you read this far, Thank You, and enjoy your gift of life. We never know when the our last day on earth is here, so live today like it just could be that day - minus the hard felony stuff!

Peace
Keith

Morning Ms Sue :-)
Things are looking lovely in your national forest that’s for sure! So cool your getting another light for the tents but you may want to edit your name out of your order confirmation or you may not

Blessed Buds our friend and be well :passitleft:

I know one thing for sure Sue, you are frickin' bold, I can't even get myself to post a picture on 420Magazine! Here you are posting screen grabs of your Rainforest orders unredacted! You are a total hoot girl! But you did describe your feelings on the matter well in a earlier post, nothing to lose and what legal entity wants to be outted and vilified for taking on SweetSue? My love to you girl, keep on keeping on.

:goodjob:

Peace
Keith

I pulled the photo and it'll be eliminated from the gallery. It was interesting that I took it out not because I was concerned about exposing my identity - too many of you already know who I am to start being concerned about that- but in deference to the nature of the site. I don't really want to encourage others to do so simply because I'm fearless.

And I'll admit to being pretty fearless. I knew when I posted it that my email address was there, but I missed the full name. Not that it concerns me in the slightest. I live a life surrounded by cosmic support, and my acknowledgement of that means that I reap the benefits of their assistance more often than the average bear. I'm safe, and I'm secure in that knowledge.

It's 2:10 AM and I'm slipping between Blue Dream and Malawi, considering how blessed I am to have these choices and how delicious it is at this stage of my life to be able to sit up in the middle of the night and smoke recreationally.

Sometimes it's fun to see how much you can smoke in a single sitting. :cheesygrinsmiley: I find my tolerance for feeling incredibly high expands. I don't notice a tolerance so much as an increased appreciation. Yeah, that sounds good. :laughtwo:

I'm going back to seeing how many I can take before I simply must go to bed. Lol! Goodnight crew. :kisstwo:

Good morning everyone

I hope everyone got a restful night's sleep. :battingeyelashes: Ready to play? :cheesygrinsmiley: Good. I'm discovering that the more frequently I can view life as a game I'm playing with my cosmic companions the smoother and more delightful my days pass. Who wouldn't want to live like this?

I'm getting ready to head out and join my new friends at the senior center for lunch. The menu looks more appetizing than the first meal we shared, and I think I'll take along some of my special spice to sprinkle across the buttered and parsley potatoes.

These are the fans from DC 1.2. The smell they give off is amazingly intoxicating, and after a couple days drying I crumbled them all up last night and tossed them into a jar for cooking use. AKgramma has had me considering this for quite some time. She's been using sugar leaves, fans, and popcorn, dried, cured, and crumbled, as a spice, for lack of a better description, sprinkling it on her meals and adding handfuls into soups, stews, meat dishes (I hear her spaghetti is marvelous!). What she discovered after a few months was a steady decrease in joint pain along with a delightful settling in of a nice sense of wellbeing that seems to accompany any and all cannabinoid therapies.

I've decided to follow her lead. These leaves are much too fragrant to pass up the opportunity. I had some powder last night to test the flavor and it's surprisingly tasty. I'm not a good candidate to try to quantify these little improvements, being so healthy and strong to begin with, but I figure I have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

It's an excellent way to get acid cannabinoids into the system in a continuious stream. I'll let you know if I feel any improvements.

Ok guys. Time for me to get bundled up against the cold. I'll catch up to your joyful selves later. :ciao:

Good morning and high Sue,

Good afternoon Stage. I just got home from roaming through the local stores looking for hidden gold. Found a Belkin battery pack for $10. :woohoo: Man! I love a good bargain. :cheesygrinsmiley:

It's not so bad out there today. The skies are clear and sunny. We might be close to 20* F at the moment. Lol! I'll warm up and head back out in a few. I have a package to get out and I'm hoping to find some cheap cookie racks at Dollar Tree that I can attach to the roof of my new tent to hang lights from.

Thanks..... I needed this. :passitleft:

High Sue,

Thing went for nearly two grand back in the day.

I have four plates from the Pennsylvania Railroad dining cars that I found in a thrift store one lazy summer day. I paid $1 a piece. They sell on the open market as collectibles for around $75. They're my daily dishes, and I smile every time I pull them out. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I use to have to go to a seniors complex to find a game of cards...Seems if you want to play a game of pinochle, you have to go there, or the Armed Forces, or prison.

Just doing a drive-by Sue... Hope alls good in the hood... Keepem Green

Totally going to look for some tomorrow. Great idea sue!!!

Happpyyy Friday Sue!!! :passitleft: I hope yours is full of joy and happiness!!! Looking beautiful in your jungle as always!!! :volcano-smiley:

Good morning everyone

Just stopping to say hello before I dash out the door for senior lunch. These people could learn a thing or two about tasty cooking. :laughtwo: At this point I'm persisting in attending for the future benefits. Lol! Great communion and the potential for computer access with a printer will keep me coming back. I figure I just found the computer that I'll be using to write my first book. :slide: The program coordinator says no one uses that computer at all, so I'll have complete access when they're open. Something to explore. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I haven't adjusted my eating habits to this program yet, and I've been skipping breakfast, so I'm really hungry when they serve the food. Hunger bypasses bland taste every time. Lol! I'm taking some dried and powdered Devil's Carn leaves with me today for seasoning. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I couldn't find anything in a cheap cookie rack that'd be strong enough to use on the tent roof, so I'll be walking to Lowe's after lunch to get a wire shelf that'll do the job the way I'm envisioning. They stabalize the tent as well as give me attachment points, making it worth the mile each way in the cold. It doesn't look so cold out there today.

Time to fly. Be boldly joyful my friends. The universe will feel that vibration and bring you more to be joyful about. You can count on it.

:ciao:

Stay sweet..keep warm.
Let the sun shine on your forehead.
