Hi Sue!
Have you ever let one of your plants go until they are really really "done" ... like fully amberered out trichs and yellowed sugar leaves?
Don't necessarily believe everything you may have read about speedy vs. sleepy regarding clear/cloudy/amber/red trics when considering harvesting. Several years ago, I grew a fully seeded Malawi until the pods were dry and dropping seeds, and the leaves were all done. It was some of the speediest bud, and potent as hell, the others I shared it with were clamoring for my connection (hardly a soul knows where I "get" my MJ, decades of hiding the truth has kept my reputation clean as an upstanding citizen! hehe).
Just offering, if you are inclined, perhaps try letting one majority sativa plant go until long in the tooth, naturally at end of life, you might be surprised at its unexpected effects.
Also, about pollen, my Mom used to collect pollen (many different plants, not Cannabis) and mix it with 2 parts of white bleached flour before refrigerating. She told me it made the pollen last longer, and allowed for more accurate and easy pollination with her little paint brush during the late winter greenhouse fun. The refrigerator in the greenhouse had hundreds of medicine bottles full of seeds and pollen, so I never really questioned her any further. She new more about all kinds of plants, ponds and aquariums and than I'll ever know. Glad I learned just some of her knowledge, I wish I had asked more questions, and even more so wish she were still around to ask now! Enjoy your new ushering gig, that's a great social playground for people. That's part of what I get out of playing music gigs, the social aspect before and after the work is really the most fun part. Well aside from making folks dance and gyrate with just the drummer and I hitting a groove. Funny how just a drum and a bass can make folks stand up and shake it. Best of luck!
Peace
Keith
Your mother and I would have made good friends.
That's an interesting note about the sativas Keith. I've always been concerned with couchlick, but you have me tempted now. My next sativa to be due for harvest is either the Malawi or the Jamaican. Either of those could be pushed longer. You have me intrigued now. You realize I'll have to test this theory out?
Good morning everyone
Boxing was .......an experience with many flavors. Turns out the lower tier of professional boxing is a family affair. The seats were filled with community members and family of the boxers, cheering on their champions with vigor. It was really a series of raucous family reunions contained in a singular theater space.
It was great fun to be a part of.
The boxing itself is disturbing. All I could think of, watching them pummel each other, was the screaming necessity to introduce some atomized cannabinoids to the corner regrouping between rounds. Surely there's someone in the boxing community looking into this.
I was watching the fights standing next to Jim O'Brian, sports writer for the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, who took on the pleasure of explaining some of the intricacies of the sport. I continuously pointed out the moments some cannabinoids would have been helpful in protecting the brains of the fighters. He may be the man to approach about raising the call for such protection. The boys are so young and they know they're invincible.......
I checked Ultra Dawg before lights out yesterday.
It was time.
I'll be drying low and slo. Carn 4.2 is close enough to finish with rice. I'll do that while I trim into the bags.
I'll be back. In the meantime, be joyful as you wander through this new, delicious day of opportunity. Have fun with it. Like is supposed to be fun. It's supposed to feel good. If it doesn't, deliberately reach for a better-feeling thought and keep doing that until the stress drops away.
Its si simple people think it must not work. Oh yes it does. Trust me in this. Be deliberate in your refusal to entertain negative emotion for longer than it takes to recognize that destructive momentum and choose a thought that feels better. Watch your dreams come true as you relax into the flow of life.
Time me for a brownie.
Yep, I'm like this without medication. Lol! Somewhere out there is the man who'll appreciate that for the rest of his happy life.
