Morning Chris
We haven’t sampled more than the Blueberry. She took a hit from a joint Hash Hound rolled - her first toke from a joint ever, and probably her last. Lol! She uses a vape and prefers that method. Later today we’ll do some tasting, but it’ll take a while. Lol!
Hash Hound had a sweet fruity cartridge of oil that we shared on the drive from the airport. Carnival cob for breakfast, DDA cob for lunch, ATF capsule halfway home, oil vape in the car, and Blueberry as we visited. I was a little overloaded. Lol! I’m gonna take your advice and pace myself.
I did get everything put away today and ran an estimate in the seeds I acquired on this trip. I’ll be updating the seed bank ASAP.
Canna Montana saw to it that I received another batch of Devil’s Carnival seeds. The stamping machine got a few of them, but I managed to pull out a sweet supply.
Look @Graytail, a new box of DC chocolates.
Chris sent enough CBD Critical Cure to make the next batch of oil for the daughter, generosity that is greatly appreciated.
I’m drying the buds for the infusion. In a perfect world SweetSue alternates between brownies made with Carnival and DDA. Today, my world became a little more perfect.
I’ll be baking those brownies later today.
Right now I’m finishing up all the little things that need done immediately and taking frequent rest breaks to just lay down. Sleeping in an uncomfortable bed took a toll, one I’ll recover from in just a couple days. Until then I’ll just let myself nap as often as I feel the need. I took some pictures of the girls to post later. Time to take one of those mini-breaks.

@Chris Scorpio, what do you think was the plant that seeded the Carnival?
I'd say either ACDC or possibly ATF, either way it should be a good strain to try

My friend got me a pedicure last Wednesday. This is the first time my toenails have been painted, and they’ve been complaining ever since that they can’t breathe.
Later today I’ll remove the polish and go back to being me. It’s been disconcerting to look down and see that splash of color. This is so not who I am.

You marked the Nightengales as Fem. I’ll grow one of the crosses out to see what you got. The last seed I found was looking like a winner.
Is that the correct spelling for Nightengale?

Chris bought me a lovely blue glass pipe to use in Phoenix, and that thing was a lifesaver, but oh, am I glad to have my bong again.

Them Devil Carnival seeds are dark. Not so much striped. I find it interesting, seed shells.

In your experience does shell appearance give any indication of vigor?
Speaking of seed shells. Back when I first started growing, I had a bag full of seeds and I'd always look for tiger stripers, all the small dark seeds were a Sativa as a rule. All the seeds I had were bag seeds from a lot of different bags of top-shelf herbs back from the 70's. Man, I use to have 2-3 fingers of them. That was alot of seed to look thru. Then I played Johnny Apple Seed and planted the rest all over the Santa Monica area. Even the Cop Shop had sprouts on their lawn for awhile

aside from inmature green white seed, no. I just like the tiger stripes. I like them best when looking thru a bunch of seeds.
One thing I think of off the top of my head. Sometimes tiny sativa seeds grow into grate tall plants.

We always looked for tiger strips at the time different strains weren't available and we too got the tigers because we thought they were sensimilla little did we know that just meant girl. This was late 60's early 70's. That makes 50 years of 'keeper' green!

I like tall-ass sativas. Lol! Thank you gentlemen. That’s invaluable info. I’ll be picking through them later as I count and bag. So many things to catch up on, not the least of which is

The D.O.G. Is a bit dry, rehydrating at the moment with a couple Boveda packs. Smells insanely like a slinky blueberry pie. Mmmmm....
Jamaican 1.3 was less dry, but still below 50%, warranting Bovedas of their own.
I don’t trim pretty buds. All of what I save is useful for both smoking and processing, so it doesn’t matter that it lacks bag appeal. Lol!
More for the larder.
Back to the little things, laundry, cleaning, and picking through seeds. These regular GDPs are a start.
