SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition To Doc Bud's HBB Kit

Cool about the GSC mint thingy :) Gonna try to grow The Bulldog seeds take on GSC - "Girl scout cookies extreme" they named it and their version is quite unique. You see, the data say: THC 15-20% - CBD 5-10% - Indica 80% Sativa 20%

Sounds like a good painkiller to me. I like those datas

I have ran AK47 XTRM and Borderliner XTRM last year and I am running them again this perpetual grow - they are the only old genetics I started up again. I hope you are as pleased with the GSC XTRM. Those numbers sound like a great body high while keeping a decent head high :) Built for recreational and medical joy!

Thank you Sue, it is a happy place around here. A grow journal is quite likely, I'll let you in on it once I pull together some equipment, seeds and a plan of some sort. There are so many excellent growers here, my "philosophy" is a little scattered at the moment. In the end I just want a successful grow and rather sooner than later. :-)

If you start a grow journal BEFORE you make all the decisions, folks can help you talk through those decisions. I looked to see if yu had a grow journal started a few minutes ago, and on 5/2 you expected to have a journal in June Hint

SweetSue, tried and true,
Looking out for you, a healing guru.

Peace and happiness, a friend to help clean up the mess. When my body is in distress. I read her words and let go of the stress.

To be my best self, the best health, knowledge is wealth.

You bestow a chance to change my circumstance ... soon my ECS will dance and restore the balance...
because I planted a seed.

Rad beat me to it.

I started at least two of my journals in the planning stages. They were very successful at attracting helpful members who assisted me in my first and enormously successful harvest. Let me add my encouragement to start one as you make these decisions.

Hey Sue have you thought of getting a table top RO system? I just picked up a 90gpd system and its been a life saver. Its taken my water from 350ppm to just about 4!! I have a 4 gallon jug I store my water in and it fills it up in about an hour maybe less (never timed it to be exact) Seems like it would be a little easier and save you some electricity along the way.
Maybe its not in the cards now but if you need any info let me know. I might even have a discount code around here :)

It'a great idea - especially for people who actually have a lot of insecurities and questions about how to get started - get started on a grow-journal and the community will take care of you from there on

I got myself a 7 stage RO filter for kitchen use. The benefit of this system is that it adds calcium and magnesium during the last stage to improve taste. However - the plants love it as well and I don't have to think about using calmag. In my main-room however I grow with water from my own well. They love it even if it taste a little funny :D

So a quick question to all of you guys, I need some new nutrients for my plants and I'm going for Canna because well I live in the Netherlands, but my question is: Should I go for the biological nutrients or the normal nutrients? And should I also buy some flower boost along with it? I still do have Canna boost though but you also have Canna PK 13/14 and that was a pretty interesting thingy for me.

I have grown with canna since I started growing. I am very very happy with them. I use their hydrophonic nutes in an autopot system - with soil though. I think I heard that the organic line can clog up the tubes in my autopot system. Allthough I do not know for certain that this is true, I didn't want to risk it so far.

Does anyone know if Canna's chemical nutes are harmful in any way to benefitial bacterias and other living things in the soil?

Sorry for replying to your question with just another question :D

That's a good question... I'm going to a local Canna store here so I can ask that question for you too. But well, if I ask the salesman if I dhould buy chemical or biological and with flower boost then he will day for sure that it's better to use biological nutes and flower boosts because they are a lot more expensive

I did use the flower boost a few times, but I never had stabile enough growing conditions to compare with or without in a comparable grow. So I can't really tell you how efficient it is. But according to the instructions you are supposed to use it together with Canna pk13 /14 . I can't remember 100% but is it 3 weeks into bloom and then feed them this for one week?

I have to be clear about something - I do not follow instructions on nute bottles or their feeding regimes. With a 225 liter tank that's quite impossible. So I do it very very simple - During vegg I feed them 1/4 of the recommended dosages of Canna. Then I let them drink that and I just keep filling the tank as needed really. When it's time to flower I just do the same with the flower nutes. An easy method is to just know how much water you filled in your tank and then add the corresponding amount of nutes. I usually fill the tank long before it's empty, so during the first weeks of bloom the plants will gradually get less and less vegg nutes as I keep filling the tank and adding flowering nutes. This method is so simple and you don't really have to think even.

Anyway - my point with all this blabbering was to say that when I added this stuff I just added it to the tank and allowed them to drink it till I began flush. Canna say you're supposed to use it for a week - My plants doesn't drink 225 liters in a week :)

Anyway - Won't use the boost this round. Ran out last round and I'm not even sure the stuff makes any difference

Damn! Now you got me thinking here - I used boost last round and I did get some enormous buds. The question is: would the buds still be enormous without boost? And should I really risk it this close to an harvest? Hmmm. Think I'm gonna buy some more Canna boost :)

I would appreciate if you could ask about the organic line and autopot tubes clogging. Thanks!

Since everyone's definition of enormous will differ because it's a very subjective term, I add this photo to let you know what I mean with that term. Can you see my hand all the way down there?

Well, I bought the whole CannaBio range necause it wasn't all that expensive.

This costed me just 120 euro's! But well it's a Dutch brand and I live in the Netherlands so that's nice! I will definetly use thise in my next run and it probably will be well worth the money!

Hey Rik, I had really good luck using BioBizz nutes. Used on both autofem and regulars with no issues. Its made in your neck of the woods too :)

Edit: Should have went ahead to next page... if your canna nutes dont work out give biobizz a look.

I see you already have the pk 13/14. Then you can just as well get the boost, they kinda belong together.
