SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition To Doc Bud's HBB Kit

I woke up this morning still so high from yesterday that I decided to put off my meds until I felt the system slow down enough that I knew I needed the next dose. That didn't happen until 8 PM, when I broke out this little bit and got completely wasted. :laughtwo:

IMG_73526.JPG

This oil is so potent that I build up a backlog and have to take a day off, but I'm flying high the entire time anyway. Lol! Sometimes it's really nice to be me. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Now I think I'll have just a little bit more before I hit the sheets. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:
Sounds like you had a great time! Yesterday when I got back from the Ambulance I thought: Let's smoke some Northern Lights! So... I took my little classy pipe, dumped some Northern Lights in there light it up and take a big inhale. And I had to cough like crazy... Strong stuff! So, and just a little bit later I feld a weird feeling in my legs and head sooo yeah I was high...

Was this your first euphoric experience rik?

Yes it actually was!

That's what I thought rik. It may take a couple times to really begin to feel it. The ECS needs time to adapt to the influx of cannabinoids. In the body cannabinoids are created on the spot, on demand, so there aren't cannabinoids floating about. They're created, do their signalling thing and get broken down by enzymes almost immediately, so the experience of an over abundance of phytocannabinoids can be something of a surprise.

Welcome to a different reality rik. :hugs: Growing your own puts you in a special class. What you smoke is likely better than average and it won't hit the wallet as hard. Enjoy the entry-level euphoria. Believe me, it continues to get better, and now your body can heal faster from things you didn't even know were going on.

Find some way to incorporate raw cannabis into your life. Your body will thank you for it. The acid cannabinoids are turning out to be powerhouse healing forces.

Thank you Sue! Your information is always goldworthy. And yeah I also need to eat better and cannabis is something that can help me with it. So, let's see what happens and how for it goes!

Hey Sue... Happy Sunday Funday

Good morning Scorpio. :hugs: :Love:

Good morning everyone else :Love:

My days are a steady flow of joyful expression, and I'm hoping you've all learned how to replicate that wonder in your own lives. Everyone deserves to feel this good every day. :slide:

My day has additional joy. We have a winner in the Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookie seeds. :yahoo:

She's been gently placed in the Rapid Rooter. I expect it won't take long to have leaf action beginning.

IMG_73547.JPG

The first one failed to germinate, and that always leaves me a little nervous. This plant is destined for a hempy pot. I'll empty a vinegar bottle for her and this one I believe I'll use bottled nutes on, just to get a comparison. I have some I won that'll be a nice change from the basic GH ones I started with.

Lady A, I won't be using my General Hydroponics line anymore. If you're interested in using them up, drop me a PM and I'll get them to you.

Today's my coffee and conversation group. Let's try something I haven't for about two weeks now. Can you believe it's been so long since my last brownie? :thedoubletake:

One more thing before I go..... What is this plant telling me?

IMG_73563.JPG

Id say maybe the same, Potasium or Copper maybe... maybe check yer PH

Also be sure its not a light Burn...

Well, it appears you and Ditch are in agreement, and thanks so much for the input. Potassium eh? Hmmmm...... My pH is consistently near or at 5.5. Would you suggest up or down? I'll have to do some research, because I wasn't anticipating this. Lol! I stroll merrily through life and get away with all manner of things that might topple others. :laughtwo: Things always work out for me and I expect this will too. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Tead, if you're out there, what would you do if this was your baby?

A couple tops

Some new internal growth

IMG_73778.JPG

Good grief, she's beautiful. Next time I'll lasso those side branches in. I may do that anyway this time.

That's better. :cheesygrinsmiley: Now she's not bumping into the walls and into Carn 3 and I can get them better positioned under the light.

IMG_73856.JPG

Look at this one being all regal and smelling so incredibly of lime it makes me want to take a bite. :laughtwo:

Geez....... I love what we do. This one gets dried low and slow. :slide:

Is this a Hempy pot Sue? Using the osmo+? Looks like nute burn. I wouldn't know how to correct this with the osmo as it's a time release nutrient, I'd ask tead for his advice.

:passitleft:

:hugs: :Love: :hugs:

Ok, I'm alright with this. That's what we speculated it to be when it surfaced. I wasn't expecting the yellowing to edge the leaves like that.
Shell survive. I mean, look at her! She looks more stunning by the day. :laughtwo: I'm just learning the hempy, osmo game. It's probably a concentration of pellets in one area or another. I'll get better at even distribution. :cheesygrinsmiley:

:hugs: :Love: :hugs: Always so sweet to share one with you Mr. Am4zin. :hugs:

:passitleft: This too. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Sure, why not? :passitleft:

Oh my God Tead, she's beautiful. :yahoo: Wow! :laughtwo: You're gonna love the buzz. I can't wait for your review once she's dry.

Well done buckaroo. :bravo: You inspire me, you do realize that? :hugs: :Love:

Tead, if you're out there, what would you do if this was your baby?

First... your new growth looks fine... so that seems good. The older growth damage may have occurred when the plant was smaller and nute requirements were smaller.

Check out the circles. Are these the standard calmag spots we see? When I first looked at the photos I thought 'Mag def'.
SS40.jpg

But again, this happened when the plant was younger, so you may have already resolved the issue and are chasing ghosts already exercised.

One has limited options in adjusting a OsmoHempy. You can move the plant around the garden to adjust temps up or down.... it makes a good bit of difference. You can add liquid nutes to your watering dance. You can work a touch more Osmo into the top layer, but that can be dicey and lead to hot spots.

Good eye Tead, I missed those. :high-five: I'll keep an eye for a day or two. She got some shifting around today, so it may resolve itself, if it hasn't already.

Training a potential monster

CBD Critical Cure 2.2 has been a delight to train. I'm working on getting her to wrap around the outside of the pot, and then the challenge becomes getting the interior space filled in and leveled.

Such pretty leaves. :battingeyelashes:

IMG_73717.JPG

It takes many pins to do this right. Once the structure is set and the branches beef up I'll be able to get it down to only a few pins.

IMG_73686.JPG

So many potential bud sites I can't even count them. :laughtwo: By the time she's ready to flip she'll have filled all available real estate.

IMG_73724.JPG

Mmmm..... Ominous cough there that hurt where it shouldn't have. WTH is that about? When I'm done here I'll take a couple hits and calm it. Maybe use the Kind pen......

One last closeup of the beautiful leaves. She's looking like she's monster material. I might toss her into a ten gallon pot two weeks before flip and enhance my chances of getting a substantial increase. :slide:

Let me go medicate. I think some chicken soup would be a good thing. Maybe just a nap.

Haha! In my home a sore throat of any kind is looked upon as an indication that there was something you needed to say but were biting back. Lol! My poor children heard about that every time they dared to allow sickness in that came with throat distress. When it happens to me I go through the same soul-searching. :laughtwo:

I'll catch up later, after I figure it out. :ciao:

Ya know.... on the other hand.... she's just shifting into bloom when one normally sees increased nute needs.
I dunno. Just thinking out loud (ish) I guess.

Help me out here Tead. I know nothing about what I'm doing, but with your assistance I'll catch it quick.

I have the Grow Better line, which you likely also have, if it came with the prize package. I'm planning to use it with my Thin Mint Cookies. How's about I mix up a 1/4 solution and water that in for a couple times, see what happens?

Does that sound safe?

Sometimes I can be such a blonde. :laughtwo:

I'm mixing up a new batch of bath salts and suddenly I think " bath salts......epsom salts with canna oil mixed in.... wait a minute, magnesium. I'm soaking in magnesium. That's why I feel so much better these days."

Yeah, like I said, it took three batches to realize I'm supporting my ECS in a super way with these soaking baths above and beyond the cannabinoid load. Rico recently informed me that magnesium is best used absorbed through the skin. Just like I'd been doing.

So I went looking for more info on magnesium and it's place in creating homeostasis and found this over at Ancient Minerals.

WHAT CONDITIONS CAN BENEFIT FROM MAGNESIUM?

Magnesium is known to reduce muscle tension, lessen pain associated with migraine headaches, improve sleep, and address neurological disorders such as anxiety and depression.
Conditions linked to magnesium levels include:

Pain:

* Headaches
* Muscle Spasms and Muscle Cramps
* Fibromyalgia

Mental Health and Sleep:

* Anxiety
* Depression
* Autism and ADD
* Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS)
* Insomnia
* Tics

Other Conditions:

* Psoriasis, Acne and Eczema We have a winner!
* Asthma
* Blood Pressure
* Diabetes

Magnesium:

* Is an important factor in muscle relaxation and heart health
* Allows nerves to send messages in the brain and nervous system
* Aids and regulates the body’s use of calcium and other minerals
* Assists in bone and teeth formation
* Regulates the metabolism of nutrients such as protein, nucleic acids, fats and carbohydrates
* Regulates cholesterol production and helps modulate insulin sensitivity3
* Assists in energy production, DNA transcription and protein synthesis2
* Maintains the structural health of cell membranes throughout the body

Healthy magnesium levels have been linked to lowered blood pressure, reduced incidence of type II diabetes, emergency migraine treatment, reduced symptoms of asthma, and improved memory.

Magnesium is also a healthy part of bone and a necessary element in healthy calcium regulation. Increased magnesium has been linked to reduced bone loss in older adults.

A lot of benefit in these baths I hadn't considered.
