SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition To Doc Bud's HBB Kit

I need to buy me some lecithin - I've been using The Kind vape and my wife's been using her's - brownies are in the near future again.

Isn't the Kind vape nice? It held just enough for me, and being able to step up the temperature made it easier for me to actually get high with it. I haven't used it much since I came back from Jamaica because I really prefer the bong if I'm going to do something other than edibles, but I keep it handy, just in case.

Good morning everyone.

A touch of flowering joy to get the journey started. :cheesygrinsmiley:

CBD Critical Cure 2 is 47 days into flowering, and looking more ready by the day.

Good grief, I love this obsessive hobby. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Joy people. Spread it far and wide in your travels today. I'll do my best over here. :battingeyelashes:

To Me, the 2 crit cure look very much the same, exept for the difference in age, which is not news but I am always interested in things like this. Similarities or diffenences in the way so after you have grown it a couple of times you could look at a picture and say that is "this"
if that makes any sense...I think it is cool how they look. Still a tall sativa fan but I love a well grown indica or hybrid.

I also really like the color of the new growth on crit 2.1 perfect bright green, such beauty.

Great day!

Great day!

I love her color too keltic. Just the perfect shade for this stage of her development. :cheesygrinsmiley: This growing the same strains has turned out to be a good thing. I'm becoming more and more familiar with what they should look like at different stages. Having the medium standardized has helped tremendously. I was mentioning to Hash Hound the other day the sense of relief I've found in having one medium (with the side pleasure of the hempy :cheesygrinsmiley: ) has been such a relief. LOS is very easy to grow in, but having two different soil systems running simultaneously was more taxing than I was giving it credit for.

Working in Doc's Kit soil and growing under the Timber lights is turning out to be a banner year for me. :slide:

That is such cool beans. I predict great success with the kit soil!
I am sticking with LOS for now.

:circle-of-love:

And doing a darned good job at it keltic. :high-five:

Good morning SweetSue. :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

Good morning MrGreene. :hugs::hugs::hugs:

And good morning everyone else. :Loved

I'm trying to get myself out the door to breakfast and I keep getting distracted. :laughtwo: At this rate it'll be noon before I eat. I was all ready to go and realized my phone needed charged. I think I'd like to do the update from the river today. I'll see you all soon.

Before I go, I'd be remiss if I didn't encourage you to get out there and spread your joy through the community. You know you want to. :cheesygrinsmiley: OK, off to another day of fun and games. :ciao:

Weekly Update: Tiny Closet - Friday, April 14, 2017

The day started with a beheading. Carnival 3 (Day 42) was more than ready for this. The deed is done.

IMG_56476.JPG

She had a thorough drench of plain water two days ago and Brixed the day before that.

IMG_564810.JPG

She's due to be transplanted as soon as I harvest CBD Critical Cure 2 and get the tent scrubbed out. She's outgrown the space already. I need to work out this bottleneck in my flow.

IMG_56498.JPG

So many potential tops. :dreamy:

IMG_56508.JPG

Carnival 4 (Day 6) Just plugging along. She's getting the full recommended nutrients for a seedling niw, the equivalent of 1/4 tsp of each to a gallon of water. I flushed her before increasing the nute levels. She looks good.

IMG_565213.JPG

A little lankier than I'm comfortable with, but I decided early on to let her take the lead.

IMG_56538.JPG

Dark Devil Auto 7 (Day 53) She's just showing the pistils, putting her almost a full two weeks behind her companion. Next drench they both get the first CAT. The DDAs both got watered on Sunday and Brixed on Monday.

She's caught up to DDA 6 in stature.

IMG_565410.JPG

IMG_565511.JPG

DDA 6, also 53 days old. Exploding with color and beginning to stack the blossoms. She looks like another three weeks to me.

CBD Critical Cure 2.2 (Day 33) Another successful clone using TOAST's produce bag technique. Lord, is she healthy. I've kept her top tied down as much as possible to give the branches time to catch up. She got Brixed with everyone else.

IMG_56638.JPG

They're starting to get the message. :cheesygrinsmiley:

IMG_5665.PNG

So far so good on keeping things level.

IMG_566611.JPG

The next CBD CC clone cutting is still growing roots. She has plenty of time. There are still two ahead of her to follow the big girl.

All caught up here. On to the tents.

Weekly Update: Tents - Friday, April 14, 2017

Starting off with the youngest....

CBD Critical Cure 2.1 (Day 55, Flip + 12)

Yeah.....look at her go. :slide: She got Brixed with the crew on Tuesday and watered on Wednesday. She has no complaints at all.

IMG_56696.JPG

The spike in humidity is a mystery.

IMG_56718.JPG

I'm keeping her 12" from the light.

Her next drench will be her first CAT.

IMG_567712.JPG

Next door we have CBD Critical Cure 2 (Day 123, Flip + 48), so ready I almost took her this morning, but decided to hold off another day. As far as I can tell most of the trichomes are still clear, forcing me to be more patient. She got plain water on Monday and Brix with Way Ahead on Tuesday. I'm hoping to get another Energy drench into her before harvest.

She's sure looking done.

I'm thinking maybe an Easter harvest may be called for. She's screaming to be harvested. If I don't do it in the morning it will be Sunday.

And that's the tour for this week. Thank you for the interest and the support. I hope the girls and I brought you a measure of joy as you strolled by with us. Continue on with your joyful day.

:Namaste:

Have a great day! Looking forward to some river shots

:passitleft:

Hope that helps :)

You have a wonderful day yourself RheinRover. They weren't serving on the patio this morning. Still a little chilly for the wait staff. Then I realized I'd forgotten my notes and had to come home to do the update anyway. :laughtwo: It was a delightfully relaxing meal and a pleasant walk to and fro. Gave me a chance to grab that loaf of bread I kept forgetting, but no river shots today.

Those flowers are lookin beautiful Sue!!! Happy friday!! Hugs. Cant wait to see your harvest. :volcano-smiley: hope your weekend is great

Happy Friday Scottay!! :hugs:  How can any weekend with a harvest scheduled be anything but great? :cheesygrinsmiley:

My last LOS roots, left from the Candy Cane. I've repurposed the soil in a planter on the balcony. I had to rip it out of the pot and pound away at it with tools to break it up.

IMG_569710.JPG

IMG_569810.JPG

All these roots had to be scraped off (well, most of them :cheesygrinsmiley: ) before the pot could be washed. It was a pleasant day, and I'm up here above everyone. I had fun with it.

IMG_56998.JPG

IMG_57008.JPG

IMG_57016.JPG

She filled the pot with healthy roots. If the mites hadn't gotten to her she probably would've doubled the harvest, and then some.

IMG_57028.JPG

That's the tail end of my LOS gardening. It's all Doc's Kit soil and the hempy, soon to be two. Still have some kinks to work out in the scheduling, but I can see a smooth flow developing as I get more comfortable with the process.

I'm enjoying the simplicity. :battingeyelashes:

Dang that's a lot of roots! Look at that stump too.

I know, she was loaded with potential. I let this one get away from me. That never leaves me feeling good. :laughtwo: Next time, if there is a next time with an indica in my garden, I'll do better.

A little lankier than I'm comfortable with, but I decided early on to let her take the lead.

You could plug the hole, fill the bucket with water, and float her down some.
I've been pretty lucky dealing with roots in perlite. I usually don't see impact from my modifications.

Love seein the purple pop out in the DDAs. Got one going myself and I sure hope to see some purple.

Hi Sweet Sue

CBD critical cure is looking awesome. Seems like it couldn't grow enough flower, much like a puppy when you get home, lol.

You do inspire me to spread happiness, and warmth, and love wherever I can. Thank you so much for your inspiration!

What is "LOS" soil? And about mites, I have a few, but not many. Not using DBHBB soil, but Doc's mineral blend, with promix. Hoping to get enough Brix so mites won't bother. Seems to be working. Only have nopest strips down, and see a new one occasionally.

Lost your subscription, and just got back again.
