SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition To Doc Bud's HBB Kit

Good morning Sue! Just an FYI for future....you don't need to add any transplant to your water when you transplant. The Roots! powder has everything it needs now. Just plain water at transplant is all she needs....you won't hurt anything but it doesn't help either just wastes product.

Looking really good over here though! I am keeping up too.

Thanks neiko. It's such a small amount too, I can certainly appreciate the value of leaving it out. Something new you've taught me. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I'm all for not wasting product. I'm still working out ways to keep from wasting Brix when I have so few plants to spray.

Wow! It's already four in the afternoon! This clock change throws me for a couple days. I'm more responsive to the light change than most, but then I lead an unstructured life too, so you'd expect that would make the adjustment easier.

I guess I'm still learning to let go of all those pre-conceived ideas of how my days should be structured.

Peeking into the mite-ridden tent. These girls get too much bad press. It's disheartening to be limited in my access, but it isn't keeping them from blooming, so I think I'll be ok with it in the end. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Two feedings now with the Terpinator. I'm not sure how I'd determine a difference. She was doing quite well as it was.

Geez....... She's surprised us all, hasn't she?

My day's bubbling over with joy. Yours? Good. :cheesygrinsmiley: I'm glad you stopped for another booster shot. The girls and I were glad to oblige. Now, get out there and share. I'm doing my sharing from indoors. It's freakin' cold out there, and the snow's flying by horizontally. I'm nice and cozy up here above it all.

Be safe, be happy, but most of all have fun. Life is supposed to be fun. It's supposed to feel good. Make that happen in your own world. Start with a smile, and see where it takes you. :circle-of-love:

Sue

I never needed to mix Brix by the quart as per instructions.

reduced amounts comes out to 1oz water to 1ml brix, but I seem to notice to much on the leaves that strong.
That's why I use half strength. Mostly in batches of 4oz water and 2ml Brix. 2oz water is to little for the little sprayer I have to work well.

This is the same concern I have Hash Hound. My smallest sprayer requires at least two ounces to get a decent performance out of the tool, but that's still too much. I always feel like I'm spraying too much. I try to get a light, but even misting.

Foliars and I haven't come to peaceful terms yet. :laughtwo:

Great looking canopy on Candy Cane !

I use small cheap sprayers. I use 60ml (2 oz) for 3 large and several small plants.

The 5" Flairosol on the left holds about 6 oz, and has a 3-second long spray per each pump. You can start the pump and then hold the bottle in any position - a very nice feature.

The 1.5" cheap pump sprayer holds about 1.5 oz.

They both give a fine quality mist. They both brreak, but I have a few more of the little cheap sprayers so that's what I'm using. I look forward to buying 6-12 Flairosol sprayer/misters as the cheap ones wear out.

Now that get terpinator hat is right up my alley, any anything else you'd like to throw in. You seem very gratuitous with your material items, I like that in people. You rock sweetsue!!!

I have a Flairosol, and it's my preferred sprayer, since I can get good coverage upside down when there's enough volume in the bottle, but this one won't work well with less than two ounces, and I often use less than that. With DeStress I can dilute it more and toss it into the soil, but I hesitate to do that with Brix. Anybody else dump the extra Brix onto the soil?

I have a quantity of four ounce spray bottles that I typically use for small amounts. If we could only find something that gives me the flexibility of the Flairosol with a smaller volume of liquid that'd solve the whole problem. Paying $15 for a sprayer that breaks within the first couple months didn't enamour me to the Flairosol. Luckily I picked up some leftovers from a member who wasn't using the kit anymore and he included a sprayer in the box. That's the one I'm using now.

Why thank you Mag7. :laughtwo: I'm curious as to what change the addition of the Terpinator can offer. I'm looking forward to running the next plant using it from start to finish. Hmmmm...... I might do well to track down a little research on the product.

Well... not so much me.... but I hear ya.

Now I gotta turn some pages back and catch up here...

I came so close to killing this one on a number of occasions, and here she is rolling past Day 141 and 45 days into bloom. :thedoubletake:

Words that endlessly echo thru the halls of 420Mag. If I were to point at the most common words spouted by growers, it would surely be those words.

My favorite is the call of the obsessed cannabis cultivator:

MORE LIGHT!!!!!

CBD Critical Cure 2 got her second CAT drench and her Recharge topping today. What a beautiful specimen she's growing into. :battingeyelashes:

Funny story to share:

I woke in the middle of the night, not really sure of what woke me. After listening and hearing nothing of interest I drifted off, still curious as to what could have pulled me out of a deep sleep. Then the electricity came back on, causing the smoke detectirs to alarm and the fan in the tent to kick back on. Turns out what woke me was the silence. :laughtwo:

Joy people..... Let it build to bubbling and then do your best to share it at every opportunity. Make the day sparkle. I'll be doing my part over here on the frozen banks of the Mighty Mon. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Hey I was a pittzburgh airport resident for an extra night monday while the coast got snow. But I left yesterday evening before I could cause any trouble, that is no fun.

GrateDay! :surf:

You should have called me. I'd have taken a bus out to say hello. :battingeyelashes:

The postman was kind to me today. These guys love me traipsing into their local to pick up my never-ending stream of packages. :cheesygrinsmiley: I'm gonna miss them when I move.

My prize package from Gorilla Seeds.

Sometimes it's extra nice to be SweetSue. When Sherry put the order together she tossed in an extra 10 seeds of CBD Mass, which we believe is Advanced Seeds answer to CBD Critical Mass. She recently harvested hers and just knew this one would be attractive to me. As it is, CBD Critical Mass was my favorite of the two Criticals I grew last year. I'll be starting one of these to follow the next clone of CBD Critical Cure. Hmmmm..... Maybe try the CBD Shark Shock next.......... :hmmmm:

The big difference between the Criticals I grow is the expectation that the Critical Cure is pulling slightly higher CBD numbers. Of course, I wouldn't know that unless I had it tested.

I decided to try a couple of the stink sacks too. Very interesting product. Not all that expensive either. Next order I believe I'll pick up a larger quantity.

Sue! I have seen some spider mites on my plants... so I might early harvest my Durban Poison. The other 2 are almost dan. The Northern Lights has a lot of trichomes being amber colored. So that's nice. But well, I am not going to do a whole lot about it because the plants are almost done. But! it's getting spring out here and for some reason there are always a lot of lady bugs in my room so that won't be a problem in the future. So I may harvest the Durban Poison early and completely make RSO out of her and the other 2 plants I'll give them some good bud washing. at the end of next week I will be harvestong my Northern Lights and maybe the Durban Poison tomorrow already also to make room for the Industrial Plant CBD which is more important to me to be honest. It's pretty unfortunate but sacrefices have to be made!

My little first plants!

The lady bugs are a good thing as they and the ladybug . larvae eat the spider mites.

A nice wee partnership and always cool to look at ...
