SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition To Doc Bud's HBB Kit

I had a member once tell me that the only time he ran was to reload. :laughtwo:

Oh, there is no valor/bravery in my statement at all...Im just lazy :) I also try to always go camping with at least one other person who looks...yummier...and cant run as fast,

Now the last of my prizes to make an appearance is the panel from Kyle over at Advanced. If anyone has any ideas on how I can get Kyle excited about getting that panel to me I'm all ears.

Thank you Crop King Seeds. :hugs:  I now have an exemplary supply for my 2:1 CBD:THC ratio.

This is not the best news I'll have to share with you. I'm waiting on the phone call first. Continue on with your joyful day.

:battingeyelashes:

damn those seeds do look expensive...

My little first plants!

Congrats on getting through your first grown!

What do you mean it has no THC and low CBD? What's the point of it if it's low in both cannabinoids?

Durban Poison is one of the uplifting, euphoric strains I want to try because it's supposed to dampen appetite and that's something I could really use when enjoying my high. :laughtwo:

Look Sue! I early harvested my Durban Poison because I needed the space and she had some spider mites on her. The Northern Lights is next week and the Red Cherry berry will be harvested in 3 weeks. So the leaves of the Durban Poison will be used for tea and salads. And the flowers I don't know yet... Well I could make some RSO out of her but I think that's more of a waste of resources because the alcohol was damn expensive. And well, the Durban Poison has not much THC and almost none CBD so what do you think I should do with it?

My little first plants!

We're going to grow this strain in our next grow. It looks extremely promising for daytime pain relief.

You'd think with a name like "mouser", you'd be more worried about dogs! :laughtwo:

I have made it a life goal to NOT start running unless there is a bear chasing me :)

My big news will have to wait another day until I work out the issues with getting paperwork filed. When I get the go-ahead to share I'll fly right over here and do so. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I promise it'll be worth the tease. :battingeyelashes:

Thanks HashGirl! And well it has THC but I bet it's not as much as usual because I harvested it earlier and well, me growing cannabis Well it's just not worth making RSO out of it right now. I don't think it has enough CBD in it to do do because I want a oil that contains a lot of CBD. The Industrial Plant CBD will work with her 12%CBD and 7%THC! The RSO I am usibg now in my coffee is bought from a dutch specialist and it contains 2,5% CBD. So I'm curious how 12% CBD plus some THC will feel like!

1st, congrats on your first harvest! You'll only get better each time. I find high cbd strains very relaxing. CBD mixed with high thc can be quite fun. It really supercharges the buzz but without too much mental intoxication or anxiety, if you are prone to anxiety or paranoia.

Weekly Update: Friday, March 17, 2017

Good Morning everyone.

Still holding on to my news. I'll be back later with that. :cheesygrinsmiley: In the meantime, why not take a look at how the girls are coming along? Let's start with the CBD Critical Cure (Day 95, Flip + 20, CAT2 + 2). Nothing but good to say about her. She took her second CAT drench like a pro, and is beginning to pump the trichomes full. Now the real fun begins. :cheesygrinsmiley:

A little leaf porn. :cheesygrinsmiley: The mites have devastated so many plants now, I appreciate every healthy, unmolested leaf I can find. These are lovely, shiny, healthy examples. :slide:

IMG_51148.JPG

Around the corner we have CBD Critical Cure 2.1 and 2.2 coming up behind.

IMG_51157.JPG

CBD Critical Cure 2.2 (Day 4) This one still has to grow some roots. I plopped her into soil long before another cultivator would have, but that tap root concerned me enough that I know I made the right choice. She's destined to be a mother anyway, so the time she takes to grab the soil is inconsequential.

IMG_511610.JPG

IMG_51177.JPG

Her companion CBD Critical Cure 2.1 (Day 21) is chomping at the bit to get into flowering. She's taken on the smell of a girl ready to bloom. This one has the potential to outpace the mother.

IMG_51197.JPG

She's got another week, at least, to get these lower branches doing something significant.

IMG_51207.JPG

IMG_51215.JPG

IMG_51226.JPG

It's all I can do to keep her top down to give everyone else a chance to catch up. This is a powerful plant.

IMG_51237.JPG

On to the veg shelf.

IMG_51248.JPG

DDA6 (Day 21) is the obvious winner of this pair of DDAs. She's ready to go now. I can tell she has the roots beneath her to make a decent showing. Both girls got drenched with plain water on Monday, just about a gallon each, split between top and bottom.

IMG_51255.JPG

IMG_51268.JPG

DDA7 may struggle a bit to recover from my inept topping, but she'll pull through. Once I get them shifted into the Tiny Closet they begin a continuous run of autos under those lights, which will be here next week. :yahoo:

IMG_51278.JPG

IMG_51328.JPG

Yeah...... She'll be fine.

IMG_5133.PNG

Carnival 3 (Day 14) Coming along nicely. No complaints from me.

IMG_51298.JPG

IMG_51306.JPG

On to the last tent. Save the mites for last.

IMG_513413.JPG

Candy Cane (Day 103, Flip + 47) She gets her SWICK reservoir filled every other day, to the tune of between 3-4 quarts of water. Today she also got an additional 1/2 gallon sprayed from above to work the EWC into the soil matrix.

IMG_513510.JPG

Looks like at least one more week.

IMG_513611.JPG

The mites are doing their best to strip every bit of chlorophyll.

IMG_5137.PNG

Shes been no slacker though. It certainly could have been a higher yield without the mites, but I always consider that the stress of the insect invasion makes for a more potent oil produced. Ever the optimist. :laughtwo:

IMG_513810.JPG

IMG_51398.JPG

Save the best for last. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Emerald/Carn 2.1 (Day 143, Flip + 47)

Her smell is almost unbelievable. She's become what you smell when you open the tent, completely overshadowing the delicious pineapple fragrance emitting from the Candy Cane. She's been getting the same full bloom formula, every other day,all along. I'm quite impressed with how she's adapted to this level of nutrients. She never showed me any signs of "too much!"

IMG_51409.JPG

Yeah...... She makes my mouth water just looking at her.

IMG_51423.JPG

The Terpinator may be doing its stuff. I went straight to 30 ml per gallon with this mixed batch of nutrients.

IMG_51438.JPG

Darned mites.

IMG_51443.JPG

IMG_51456.JPG

She owns this corner of the tent. :blunt:

IMG_51466.JPG

And that's the nickle tour for the week. I thank you for stopping and indulging my need to show them off. I'm feeling really good about the direction the grow's going. Next week I should have all my new lights hung and we can see what that new light he's sending me will do for flowering. I'm gonna use that one to replace the BudMaster. It'll be my Mars tent. :laughtwo: I don't think the CBD Critical Cure will mind the change, and it might push her to create stronger oil. Oooooo.....a girl can dream, eh? :slide:

I'm off to do other chores and get this day firing on all cylinders. Before I do let me take this gentle moment to encourage you to cultivate the attitude of joyful appreciation and then share it at every opportunity. It not only brightens the lives of those lucky enough to have crossed your path today but it makes your life sparkle in a way others will envy.

You do your part, I'll do mine. Together we expand the loving force that drives the universe. Sounds like a plan. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I have made it a life goal to NOT start running unless there is a bear chasing me :)

I do quite a lot of running. It normally starts with running low and quickly moves onto running out. :)

One more state following the compassionate lead. From the Marijuana Policy Project:

Medical cannabis bills gain support

Last update: February 13, 2017

On the first day of the legislative session, January 10, 2017, Sen. Tom Davis and Rep. Peter McCoy introduced the South Carolina Compassionate Care Act (S 212/ H 3521), a comprehensive medical cannabis bill, and stood with patients and their loved ones to call for its swift passage. The bill would allow seriously ill patients with debilitating medical conditions to obtain state ID cards that allow them to access medical cannabis from a state regulated dispensary.

Please ask your lawmakers to support this compassionate legislation.

While 28 states and Washington, D.C. now have effective medical marijuana laws, South Carolina’s seriously ill patients remain criminals if they use a treatment option that is safer than many prescriptions.

I found an update in my latest issue of mg magazine that this legislation has successfully cleared the SC House of Representatives subcommittee. It appears that supporters are insistent that the government stop restricting the citizens' right to gain medicinal relief from a plant when the opioids that are typically prescribed are killing people.

One state at a time. Before you know it the chief economic machine in the country will be fueled by cannabis. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Time to close up this shop.

My big announcement finally came through, along with permission to share with you.

I'm pleased to say I've accepted the position of News Moderator for :420:

............ Had to stop and take a breath.......... The demands of the job will leave me no time to keep up with this journal. This is at once a difficult thing to announce and a joyous thing to share with my friends. My time here has been defined, in part, by the daily interaction in my own room. I've since opened a number of other rooms on our site, so I'll still be easy to find, but this particular joyful journey is now officially closed, and I won't be starting another grow journal.

My plan is to hold this position for as long as Rob will have me, and my expectation is that the responsibilities of the News Department will only increase as I get my feet under me. I'll be in training for the next couple weeks and then the weight of the position falls squarely on me. As you can imagine, I jumped at this opportunity. I can feel an energy building that can only be good for all of us.

I thank you, one and all, for the love and support you've shared on the pages of my grow journals. *sniff* Yeah......this is a hard one. :circle-of-love: We've grown into family on these pages, but it's not like you'll lose sight of me. I have so many friends to drop in on and visit when I need a break for a few minutes. :cheesygrinsmiley: You're all stuck with me.

I'm gonna take a minute now and let the shock of this decision sink in. Maybe pull out some of that decarbed Carnival and celebrate. Then I'm gonna start reading as fast as I can. Whew! I have a lot to learn before I slip into the chair Katelyn is vacating.

I'll be having a name change. We've decided on Sue Sweet. :battingeyelashes:

What else????? I haven't decided how to document the lights Dan's sending to me. I may have sporadic pictures show up on the DDA or Carnival threads, or drop them into some of your journals. You wouldn't mind that, would you? :battingeyelashes: I'm still working out the particulars of no longer keeping a journal up.

I think that's all I have. It's been more than a pleasure to have welcomed you all into my world. I'll be leaving my daily encouragement to joyfulness on my Spot thread starting tomorrow. Thank you all again for the love.

I look forward to more joy ahead as we work to further the mission of :420:

Geez..... I love you guys. This was a great run, wasn't it?
