yep off the anti depressants ..they screwed with my head terribly...worst decision of my life so far ... but ya live and you learn
I actually have not tried a topical but it's on my list of thing to make after my first harvest ! that and some fresh harvest oil I've seen you ranting and raving about :-D
yeah I couldn't turn down that deal ...and the lights were never used !! well I'm here to learn and hopefully make some quality medicine ... that something fun would be a sativa but haven't decide on any strains yet other then cbd shark shock and nordle ... but there are so many strains out there to try so I'll buy a couple and see if I can even grow some hahahha
And sometimes the joint wants you.
Hi Sweetsue!
I've been catching up on 2years worth of your journals .. I have very square eyes ...
haven't read all but have read an absolute shedload and enjoyed the many twists and turns - thanks!
I'm jumping ahead to the present day, here, to ask you a couple of questions:
1. Do you still soak your seeds in a coconut water/water or aloe/water blend? Or just water?
2. Could elaborate on what you mention above re the uneven distribution of Ozmocote?
Cheers,
Hope your today is a good one .
Almost forgot about this Julie. When you load up the pots you distribute the Osmocote Plus pellets throughout the perlite so that tiny, delicate roots aren't overwhelmed by a clump here or there. You also try to get a little more in the lower sections, where later roots establish.
With the two girls in late flower I wasn't as careful as I could have been. The two in early flower were the beneficiaries of greater focus when setting up. I've since decided to stick with the liquid nutrients. No pH adjustment with them, which in my opinion, makes them easier than osmo, and definately more vigorious.
Good morning everyone
I was admiring the way Pigeons 420 FIM'd his plants this morning and decided it was time to get it done in my own garden, so I FIM'd four of my own.
Candy Cane 3
Thin Mint GSC 1.1
Jamaican Bagseed
Dark Slide
As I turned away I realized I have ten plants growing in here, with two cuttings growing roots off to the side. How did this happen? Lol!
You have to admit, they're happy, from the looks of it. That makes me happy.
Was that enough joy to jumpstart the afternoon? Good, now get out there and light up the cosmos with your sparkling personality. Spread that joy far and wide. I've been doing that little game with being so thrilled with the money I have in my life and yesterday $50 dropped into my lap from an unexpected source. Hehehe! And so it begins.
Still just seeds, yup. Not even on my short list at this point.
I am the same way with strains! One of my favorite things to do is ask my better half what she thinks, then completely poo-poo her suggestion. Poor Nancy... She just says, "whatever Sug."
I've taken to running a few 12/12 from seed in an attempt to fulfill the desire for variety.
Another thing is; as a show of solidarity I'm pretending to have a problem with collecting so many strains that I'll never be able to run them all, because so many others around here actually suffer from that addiction... .
Reading this, a conversation we were just having in Dugg's yard came to mind. Are you running 12/12 or 11/13 in your finish tent? 11/13 is supposed to help speed up the finish.
Hey sue and folks ! new to this whole thing ! I'm working on getting my growing licence ..but the Canadian government likes taking their time ...been waiting since March ...anyways wanted to say I'm quite jealous of what you grow sue !! one day I hope I can grow like that too
Oh so many questions :-D ... Sue I've been lurking in the shadows of about 3 of your threads ...I especially love the wealth and knowledge in them
as to growing ..no I don't and have never ...but I took 5 years of horticulture through highschool and went to college in that area as well so I have a very good idea haha but I will definitely need help once the time comes .. now that I need mmj on a daily basis , growing just seems better ...plus my LP stuff isn't that good hahah
right now starting out with what I can ... I got a 2.5 x2.5 x6 mars hydro tent and 2 mars hydro 300 light (132 watts) for 200 bucks .. just need a filter and fan, soil and nutes ..oh and the license
as for what to grow I was thinking CBD shark shock or the likes and maybe a 20:1 cbd plant ... and then something fun ...I use the cbd plants for excruciating muscle spasms in my should from a previously pinched nerve ... without it I cry my self to sleep from the pain ...my family doctor prescribed me anti depressants at first and that didn't go well :-(
Oh, then let me recommend Carnival, from Ministry of Cannabis. I've grown a lot of strains over my 2.5 yrs, and smoked a lot more quality than I grew, and none of it has stood up to the quality high I get from Carnival. I play with the rest, but Carnival is my safe landing place. Lol! Easy to grow, decent yield of dense, fragrant buds and the sweetest buzz ever, with the motivation to do more than sit and laugh. You'll be laughing, but you'll also be tearing something apart and putting it back together in a more efficient manner.
I can't tell you the number of times I've smoked Carnival and found myself singing a happy tune as I detail-clean my kitchen on a whim.
There's also no crash with Carnival, an attribute I find most valuable. You float along in a happy frame of mind, and suddenly you realize you want another hit, which will carry you for another hour or so.
You see how passionate I get when I find something I know is superior.
My family is very happy with the recent Carnival Harvest. It is quick becoming a family favorite. I found it great fun to grow and a better than average yield Good stuff.
Germination disorder I'm not the only one. I knew it!
So you unslud your slide? I really need to sit down and spend some time here. Sheesh.
If yours is anything like mine it should begin to move away from those TK style oval leaves as it develops. Still a long way to go with her but I'm really happy so far.
Mag7 and I were discussing cbd strains and I recall you describing your critical cure in a way that I wasn't expecting for a cbd strain from what my impression of them had been. I don't remember specifics though. Could you please enlighten us.
Thought I'd drop you a little bud shot of what your Malawi should be looking like in a couple of months while I'm here.

What fun

Do you have a black light! It might be fun to take a peek under Ultraviolet light.

Find some way to incorporate raw cannabis into your life. Your body will thank you for it. The acid cannabinoids are turning out to be powerhouse healing forces.
Oooo...... Nice buds. If mine turn out this nice I'll be grinnin' ear-to-ear.
I don't understand what you mean. What was your expectation of CBD strains? Mine was that it wouldn't really get me high, but I've found that to be untrue, at least with the FHO made with CBD Critical Cure.
Or was it that CBD strains are reputed to be low oil producers, and this strain inevitably ends up coated in trichomes?
I was thinking that you wouldn't get high from them originally. So FHO does, but I'm thinking that smoking them did for you as well, correct? From what I remember, your critical cure is a good daytime med for you.
I know you're a sativa fan like myself. There is definitely a spot for something like that in my garden though. Thank you Sue!I did try it for a few days, to get a feel for the effect, and it's not too bad. Not as intense as the FHO, but rather a pleasant sense of overall wellbeing. Aches and pains drop away. Buzzed enough to feel it, but not so much that you're stopping and going "Damn, I'm high!"
The FHO is an entirely different matter. One capsule first thing in the morning and another at around 5 PM and I'm good until I start my smoking session around 8-9 and stretching into the wee small hours. For this stretch my preference is Carnival.
what strain of cbd did you use for fresh harvest oil ... I've been toking cbd strains for 8 months now and I agree they are not strong at all but are you suggesting it's completely different in FHO?I did try it for a few days, to get a feel for the effect, and it's not too bad. Not as intense as the FHO, but rather a pleasant sense of overall wellbeing. Aches and pains drop away. Buzzed enough to feel it, but not so much that you're stopping and going "Damn, I'm high!"
