SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition To Doc Bud's HBB Kit

IMG_96297.JPG

Good morning everyone

It's a rainy day here in The Burgh. I just love the sound of rain in the morning. Always throws me back to our second honeymoon, a weekend in a cabin next to a rushing stream during an extremely wet season one August. We rarely left the cabin. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I bought I'd open the day with a glance into the finish tent. I have no idea how long that Candy Cane will take, but she's just beginning to fade a few pistils, so my best guess is 3-4 weeks, unless I take her a bit early. Not really thinking of doing that, but both she and Carn need to get a move on it soon.

Conversation Cafe is calling me. Time to get the day rolling. Oh! Nearly forgot..... before I fell into bed at 2 AM I took the time to do a hempy transplant with Thin Mint GSC 1.1.

Of course she's being raised with the RX Green Solutions nutes. She was a mass of riots filling that cup. A vigorous lass. I can get behind that. :cheesygrinsmiley:

OK, gotta force myself to put down the devices and get my butt in gear. Lol! Hey..... I woke up ready to play. Did you? Good. Let's have a blast brightening up the world with some joy, why not? Sounds like a plan. I'll do my best over here to keep up with you. :battingeyelashes:

:ciao:

So..... my wake 'n bake this morning is the last of the joint Rifleman left with me...... oh yeah...... mighty fine euphoric experience my friend. My heartfelt thanks. How sweet is it that you got to make two consecutive mornings sparkle over here? Good to be home, isn't it?

Back to my reason for the stop. One of those snobby things we HBB growers throw out is the white ash being evidence of the superior quality of our system and our product.

I took the hit, looked down and smiled....

IMG_96306.JPG

.....and thought "Tell Mr. McCain that story."

You all have a good day now. :battingeyelashes: Hydro therapy calls.

My wake n bake this morning was Jack Herer. I noted also the euphoria and thought about how I would explain that feeling to someone that doesn't smoke. All I came up with was "light headed", possibly "dizzy" and "off balance" with a little "nausea". Nope....scratch that "nausea". I just need some breakfast!

I glanced into the tents before going out and Ultra Dawg was begging for the finish spectrum, so I relented. Now the early bloom is down to two.

My finish tent has never looked so fine. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Gotta run guys. :ciao:

Lookin' a little indica-heavy in there for a sativa gal, isn't it? :battingeyelashes: The tiny closet will save me. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Catching up in Sue's garden today and saw this. Wanted to mention I purchased Aiea by Delta 9 Labs with my last Seedsman order. "Hawaiian Indica (Female) x Pure Kandahar Afghan (father)"

How far along are you. Still just a seed?

I'm so back and forth with strains to grow
One day I say I want an indica Hawaiian (and I do, I beleve I do)
The next day I decide to plant an UltraDawg seed.
The next day I think I'm growing 2-3 more strains than I can handle in the flower area.

I'm going to search the site for Delta 9 and see how growers like their seeds.

Thanks!

The whole time I was at the conversation cafe I kept hearing them...."What? You show everyone else but us?" :laughtwo:

Think I'll reset this group today. :battingeyelashes: The fun never stops. Lol!

Posted these in riflemans thread by accident. It's SIP rootporn. All without removing the plant!

Ok, that caught my attention. I'll set one up for my next kit transplant.

Before.........

I'm happier with that. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

The promise of many happy tomorrows. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

I stood for a time admiring Devil's Carnival and thinking I wanted to treat this one special, concentrate the energy use to the canopy or directly beneath. Then I started defoliating to get more light into the interior.

IMG_96658.JPG

That led to removing the restraints. The form of the branches is set now. Any further vertical climb is the buds themselves reaching for the artificial sun.

IMG_96665.JPG

Not entirely satisfied with the light penetration to the spindly lower branches I started trimming.

All the energy can now go to the six major colas and the scattered minor ones just below them, but still washed in the lumens.

I love what I do. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Hi Everyone, just another day in my garden of questions and tribulations. SweetSue, do you remember posting about 420pigeons theory of budwashing? I can't seem to find that incredibly eye opening post to share. Would you remember where that came from? I think it needs more discussion because I love 420pigeons explanation. Thank you in advance, wishing you well in the garden of serenity.

Still just seeds, yup. Not even on my short list at this point.

I am the same way with strains! One of my favorite things to do is ask my better half what she thinks, then completely poo-poo her suggestion. Poor Nancy... She just says, "whatever Sug."

I've taken to running a few 12/12 from seed in an attempt to fulfill the desire for variety.

Another thing is; as a show of solidarity I'm pretending to have a problem with collecting so many strains that I'll never be able to run them all, because so many others around here actually suffer from that addiction... .

Reading this, a conversation we were just having in Dugg's yard came to mind. Are you running 12/12 or 11/13 in your finish tent? 11/13 is supposed to help speed up the finish.

It's a sub irrigation planter. A quick Google search will show you. They work fantastic with cannabis! I'm surprised more people don't use them.

OIC! i've used them and got SPR (sub par results)

His journals are, unfortunately, no longer with us. :( I was unaware of this until this minute, but rather than be distressed I went to find his most recent video of the process, which I consider his best so far.

I'll be doing this tonight, as soon as I post this, actually. I'd completely forgotten about wanting to do this in the finish tent. Thank you for the memory reboot. Lol! :hugs:

That root porn got my attention real quick. Plants like it when you let them decide how much water they need, at least in flower.

Have you seen what Shiggity has going on in his garden Hash Hound? They might warrant another look. 36Gr0w was always encouraging us to give them a try.
