Good morning everyone
Weekly Update: Veg Shelf - Friday, August 4, 2017
Time for an update.
Let's start out with the young ones in veg.
Carnival 4.2 (Day 50) I'll be honest here, and say that I had my doubts about the ability to get a useful plant in any decent time taking the cutting 21-days into flower, but she's proving my fears to be groundless. The hempy pots in here get fed with RX Green Solutions Grow Better nutrients, at a rate of 8 ml per gallon for parts A&B and half that amount for Growth. I can't say enough about how this nutrient line has transformed my garden into the lusciousness you see before you.
As you can see, I'm beginning to pin her down to control vertical space.
Leaves are just beginning to take on the proper development for vegging.
Candy Cane 3 (Day 22) This is the prettiest Candy Cane so far. Lots of promise peeking through. Look at those lovely, shiny and bright leaves! She'll be transplanted into something more appropriate in size by next update. I need to max this girl out. Can't have the daughter running out again.
Ultra Dawg 1.1 (Day 32) Thise nutrients brought this girl back from the brink of death to this promising lass.
Blue Dream S1 (Day 3). Didn't she pull through beautifully? I had great faith in MagicJim's talented hand in the breeding process and in the nutes as well. Last watering was 1/4 nutes, and this time she got 1/2 strength.
Thin Mint GSC 1.1 (Day 22) Her drink this morning was also 1/2 strength nutes. I'll give her at least another week in the cup before I transplant her. I'm thinking a larger pot and some training this time. Her mother is a tall one, and I'd like to curtail that into something more horizontally designed.
Dark Slide (Day 31) She got a drink of plain water on Monday, July 31 and a foliar of Brix and Way Ahead this morning before lights on. Growth is beginning to accelerate.
Unknown Jamaican Bag Seed (Day 26) I decided it was time to change her name, since we're fairly certain this one isn't Lamb's Breath. She's coming up on ten days since her last drink. Another slow drinker. That makes it more challenging to get all the drenches in. Hempy looks more attractive every week. There's an obvious difference in the vitality of my plants grown in soil in contrast to the hempy girls.
She also had her Brix + Way Ahead foliar this morning. I'm assuming a female. I'm joyfully expecting a female, and the universe typically gives me what I want, so my expectations are high.
Another week or so and she'll be ready to get more soil under her.
She's taking her time, but she'll get there eventually. Her top was removed 4 days ago, on the 30th.
Malawi (Day 21) Topped on the 31st, although I don't think that's gonna do much to slow her down once she starts to run. Lol! She took a Brix + Way Ahead foliar today.
Next up, the tiny closet.
