SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition To Doc Bud's HBB Kit

What about water curing a few buds? It removes the chlorophyll so it makes them a golden color.

There ya go Tead. A little more work, but you can do it. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I do likes my gumbo. Been trying to find a gold colored component so I can make a purple, green, and gold mixture.... traditional Mardi Gras colors. DDA is the purple of course. A nice indica for the green component. What to do for gold....... hmmmm......

If you're willing to wait awhile, Super Lemon Haze cures to a beautiful golden shade ... :slide:

Okay so I was a bit curious so I looked into the Green Planet nutrients and I bought a whole set of it just to try it out. it's expensive but worth it. So my next run I will be planting 2 Northern Lights and one will be feeded with the whole CannaBio range and the other one will be fed with Green Planet to see which one is best. So, you guys think it's a good idea?

Experimentation is always a good idea. You'll learn which line suits you best.

Good God, it's never dull in this room, is it?

I may have to steal that black bag method to keep these clones going while my High Brix soil is cooking. Hmmmmm......

3 layers of black bags to block the light. 1/2 filled with perlite. Dampened to 'soggy'. Tops tied to seal the bags. Poke holes with a nail (kinda weird... 3 layers... I keep the nail in until I'm ready to stick the stem into the hole). Put plants in. Place in bottom of veg tent and don't touch for 2 weeks or more.
Easy.

For the record, the black bags are my dog poo collection bags. I thought of calling them the poo-cloner... but no.

In regards of my cloning experiment in soil with beneficial bacteria

Since it's soil, I don't really have a good method to check for roots other than removing the dome and see if they can survive on their own. So here's what I did. I noticed the bottom leaves had yellowed quite a bit. So yesterday at day 7 from taking the cutting, I removed the dome.

Now, 24 hours later, the clones are still standing strong, meaning they are able to survive on their own. Rooted clones in 7 days. That's a new personal record for me. This is the best method I have used so far. This will be my default method from now on. Until I come up with something smarter that is.

They also look so happy. They did during the entire process. This went smooth!
