So, more. When not,in withdrawal, but in..why we call,now? Drying out? I'm drying out. I call it going to zero opiates as soon as I possibly can. Now would suit me.
Ok, in between hits of herion and the beginning of stage one, life is moving at 1000 mph. This is a combination of the relative neurological sobriety,going from 100's/mg a day to now ..well let's see ..got it it's about 10Mg/day theoretical reduction every hour. Only after the 'normal dosing period ends.. so,you,sun]btraxt 12,hours.. in this case. It's been 19,at 10 pm. So,that 35 mg/day ..like soon. And I feel great.
I would imagine taking weaning and the AMA treatment, so I'd gotten hooked on bebuprine instead of herion enriched by nazi,in trading. Suboxone, bubreprine was British, they played with opiates and cannabis suppression big time. All of a sudden too.. very disappointing to me. ..anyway.. well it drives of opioids causing withdrawal, especially if you go back, and the receptor get filled with even more modified herion. Recalling herion was a mistake, oxy fixed herion, and so one. Can't be true, first step was bad, you must go back. Hello RunnerGirl.Quite the challenge keeping the men we love alive and vital, isn't it? Take a deep breath. Your husband has the same dynamic healing system we all have, and cannabis can be an excellent source for the cannabinoids his system isn't producing enough of. I'm heartened to hear the oncologist is on board. Excellent news.
Cannabis is developing a good reputation for potentiating certain chemo drugs and glioblastomas are going to require all hands on board.
Current evidence points to a potentially problamatic relationship with anticoagulants and CBD. The cannabinoid can interfere with the metabolism of the anticoagulants, causing them to build up in the bloodstream. I'm sure you can appreciate the concern, this could be fatal if not controlled by more vigorious monitoring of the blood levels. So it's a little touchy, but not unreasonable to control under proper medical oversight. The vascular surgeon should be cognizant of this concern and already have practices in place to balance the med levels.

Isolates complicate the regimen. The body can't deal with too much of a good thing any more than it can deal with too much of something detrimental. The solution in this case is to carefully monitor the blood levels and keep the anticoagulants low enough that they don't become a concern.
The thing is the cannabinoids compliment and potentiate each other, so you want full-plant extractions to benefit from the entourage effect. Many disease states respond best to a balanced ratio. The standard policy is to have a quantity of CBD and as much THC as the patient can tolerate comfortably. You start with balanced ratios and toggle up the cannabinoid ratios until you find the patient's sweet spot.

My daughter was born with a compromised ECS and a crazy anxiety disorder that ruled her life up until last year when we put her on a regimen of 8 capsules a day (2 per dose x 4 daily doses) of the CBD Critical Cure infused in olive oil. but ...I was reading today how prompt use of DMSO can see stroke victims recover much of their lost facilities. DMSO is a strange sounding substance, not as frightening as the warnings on its label want to have you believe. It can be purchased as a sort of racehorse liniment but has myriad other beneficial uses for humans as well as dogs and horses!

though I'm sure a google search will find you plenty of info. Meanwhile, can I suggest that you scroll back through recent posts in this thread for posts on DMSO to get better aquainted with it, and this will save us repeating stuff.
I can't think of any reason that cannabis and DMSO can't be compatible, they are usually said to work well together. Will you have to keep your cannabis use hidden from the hospital staff? DMSO gives the user an unavoidable characteristic garlic/sourmilk/corn odour
so it might conveniently mask any CO use. You'd probably want to discuss possible use of DMSO with the supervising doctors, not only because they would find out anyway by the unpleasant pong it causes, but because it might amplify the effect of the thinners—though I expect doctors would have no experience with DMSO and it's difficult to predict how receptive they may be. N.B. The youtube video encourages DMSO also be added to the IV so this will definitely involve doctors.Best of luck with your Mum, this is a very anxious time for you all.

Cannabis for diabetes control
I still haven't found the primary physician reference I'm seeking on this, but I'm beginning to think the regimen is 50 mg of THCv every 8 hours. That's a cannabinoid that can be difficult to find in quantity. Hmmm.... I'll keep looking.
At one point I thought it was 50 mg of THC, but few could tolerate that dose in a regular basis. 200 mg a day of THC is more than most would be comfortable with. I wonder if she meant THCa? That would make sense too. Ahhh, the mysteries we get to search through.
Now, the challenge is growing a plant high in THCv.

Abstract

RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS: In this randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study, 62 subjects with noninsulin-treated type 2 diabetes were randomized to five treatment arms: CBD (100 mg twice daily), THCV (5 mg twice daily), 1:1 ratio of CBD and THCV (5 mg/5 mg, twice daily), 20:1 ratio of CBD and THCV (100 mg/5 mg, twice daily), or matched placebo for 13 weeks. The primary end point was a change in HDL-cholesterol concentrations from baseline. Secondary/tertiary end points included changes in glycemic control, lipid profile, insulin sensitivity, body weight, liver triglyceride content, adipose tissue distribution, appetite, markers of inflammation, markers of vascular function, gut hormones, circulating endocannabinoids, and adipokine concentrations. Safety and tolerability end points were also evaluated.
RESULTS: Compared with placebo, THCV significantly decreased fasting plasma glucose (estimated treatment difference [ETD] = -1.2 mmol/L; P < 0.05) and improved pancreatic β-cell function (HOMA2 β-cell function [ETD = -44.51 points; P < 0.01]), adiponectin (ETD = -5.9 × 10(6) pg/mL; P < 0.01), and apolipoprotein A (ETD = -6.02 μmol/L; P < 0.05), although plasma HDL was unaffected. Compared with baseline (but not placebo), CBD decreased resistin (-898 pg/ml; P < 0.05) and increased glucose-dependent insulinotropic peptide (21.9 pg/ml; P < 0.05). None of the combination treatments had a significant impact on end points. CBD and THCV were well tolerated.
CONCLUSIONS: THCV could represent a new therapeutic agent in glycemic control in subjects with type 2 diabetes.

I still haven't found the primary physician reference I'm seeking on this, but I'm beginning to think the regimen is 50 mg of THCv every 8 hours. That's a cannabinoid that can be difficult to find in quantity. Hmmm.... I'll keep looking.
At one point I thought it was 50 mg of THC, but few could tolerate that dose in a regular basis. 200 mg a day of THC is more than most would be comfortable with. I wonder if she meant THCa? That would make sense too. Ahhh, the mysteries we get to search through.
Now, the challenge is growing a plant high in THCv.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE: Cannabidiol (CBD) and Δ(9)-tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV) are nonpsychoactive phytocannabinoids affecting lipid and glucose metabolism in animal models. This study set out to examine the effects of these compounds in patients with type 2 diabetes.
RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS: In this randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study, 62 subjects with noninsulin-treated type 2 diabetes were randomized to five treatment arms: CBD (100 mg twice daily), THCV (5 mg twice daily), 1:1 ratio of CBD and THCV (5 mg/5 mg, twice daily), 20:1 ratio of CBD and THCV (100 mg/5 mg, twice daily), or matched placebo for 13 weeks. The primary end point was a change in HDL-cholesterol concentrations from baseline. Secondary/tertiary end points included changes in glycemic control, lipid profile, insulin sensitivity, body weight, liver triglyceride content, adipose tissue distribution, appetite, markers of inflammation, markers of vascular function, gut hormones, circulating endocannabinoids, and adipokine concentrations. Safety and tolerability end points were also evaluated.

Hi Sue - I think you are referencing this: 20:1 ratio of CBD and THCV (100 mg/5 mg, twice daily).
If I'm reading it correctly the 100mg is CBD

Somewhere in the videos at Green Flower is a doctor who expressly articulated her protocol for diabetic maintenance, and all I can recall is "THC", but I'm certain it was a cannabinoid other than the major one. I haven't taken the time to wade through the videos. It could be in the latest Cannabis Health Conference, which was two days long. There are a lot of videos to search through.
