Further updates on my wife's treatment for her Rheumatoid arthritis.

She has been taking two of the 20:1 Bio bombs each day, one in the morning and one and bedtime.

She is experiencing noticeable improvements. The pain is not as sharp. As she put it earlier today, "In the past week, I've only had the broken glass in my veins once, where before it was daily." She seems to sleep a lot.

On the negative, she is losing weight, perhaps too much.... She just doesn't have much of an appetite. I continue to tempt her, but its an ongoing struggle for her to eat. She has not lost so much that she's in danger yet, so we'll see.

So, that is our results with the 20:1 Bio Bomb. We are very encouraged and have a suspicion that she is healing.

So, now my question is: How soon should she move to 10:1, and then on to 5:1?

That's our next step, and I'd be grateful for your input.

Might I suggest protein shakes? When my husband was recovering from a bad intestinal illness he drank 2 of those Boost plus drinks daily to help put his weight back on.

Hello everyone I have a question sweet said you all might be able to give me an answer can I use 31 grams of trim to make decent oil or will it be weak

If you are looking to infuse the coconut oil, I would decarb your trim for 110 minutes at 230, then add it to 10oz of coconut oil along with 1.5 T of sunflower lecithin. Cook @ 200 for 4 hours and you will have a good strength infused oil. :circle-of-love::peace:

So pleased you are seeing improvements. A small amount of thc sativa might help with appetite and perkiness. What's in the bio bombs?

The Bio Bombs are made up of Concentrated Cannabis oil, Olive Oil, and lecithin. The CCO has high concentrations of both THC and CBD (see my previous postings for the exact recipe and method). Plus we supplement with some vaporiser bowls of Blue Dream. :) That provides quick pain relief and euphoria.

Actually she's been eating a bit more in the past 12 hours, so, hopefully her ECS has balanced...

GREAT! Another good reason for me to try your bio-bombs -- I never seem to lose weight when trying new meds.:cheesygrinsmiley:

But, seriously, I'm very happy that the bio-bombs are helping your wife but I have no idea when to give her a higher dose. Someone wiser than I will have to help with that.

Is the CCO a sativa, Indica or hybrid? A heavy Indica might explain the sleepiness.

I'm thinking that this question may have been asked recently in this Study Hall, but I'm not sure of what the answers were. I've been unable to find the thread of that conversation. So please forgive me for asking the same question here twice.

I'm wondering if the RSO that is hyped all over YouTube is the same stuff that we used to smoke as kids, called Black Hash Oil. In fact, the first time I ever got high was on this stuff at the age of about 13 years old! I remember as well that this stuff, when spread really thin on a rolling paper with a pin was a beautiful, rich green colour -- probably from all the chlorophyl in it I would imagine. Can anyone shed some light on this dark, green question for me?

I am wondering because I want to know whether or not the CCO I plan to make whenever my grow is finished could be smoked. Yes, yes. I can hear all the dissent from the masses from here screaming at me not to disgrace the revered Oil with a match. But that, you know, is a question of how fast I will need to have my medication delivered into my system in the morning. I wake every morning with excruciating back pain, pain so intense I can barely walk, even with my cane. And without the Fentanyl (which will be taken away as soon as I'm on the cannabis) the pain will only get worse. I will need an immediate delivery system of pain relief and I don't want to smoke my buds because of all the bad shit in the smoke from them. That is my prerogative, I suppose. So I thought that if I could smoke the CCO that I make, then that would get me high enough to quell the pain from my back.

Makes sense now, doesn't it?

I hope that someone can shed some light on this. And even if the RSO isn't the same shit as what we smoked as kids, I'm thinking that the CCO might act similarly. If I can smoke it in the morning when I wake, before trying to get out of bed, I'll probably have a much easier time trying to get out of bed. And hey, I'll probably eat more of that long-cook oatmeal that is sitting in a Tupperware container in the cupboard, too!

I'm just trying to find ways of coping after the Fentanyl is taken away. Enuf said.

Short and simple answer is yes. Probably better quality now but yes. Many names it has had. Honey oil, black hash, shatter,CCO and RSO are all the names I know and there is probably more.

Thanks, New B, for that concise, short, sweet answer. I thought it must be. It seems to have the same consistency and colour and all, but without ever having seen CCO in life and not just in photographs, I couldn't be sure. I wonder if it smells the same. I always loved the smell of black hash oil, probably due to reminiscences (having gotten high for the first time on it).

By the way, it sure is nice to hear from you!!! You haven't poked your head into my journal in a while. Everything okay with you? I'll check out your grow later. I've been too busy to visit other grows for a while now. But I SLAP myself. I SLAP MYSELF SILLY, I do, for neglecting my friends on 420...

The CCO will pick up the terpines from the strain you use so each one will smell a little different. CCO made from my c-99 has a very fruity/lavendery smell. :circle-of-love::peace:

Hey all! I've been absent but enjoying my CBD oil :)

I have a question for a friend I'm trying to help - Any doctor in the house?

The woman I'm friends with is in her 70s - kind of very delicate and sensitive like I am. She purchased a bottle of cannabis syrup called Adabinol a year or so ago. It is about 3:1 CBD:THC.

She only tried it once - one drop under the tongue. A "dose" is supposed to be one teaspoon - 3mg CBD: <1mg THC. Again, she only took a drop.

So the good news is she felt relaxed - anxiety and pain and general inflammation is her main concern - the THC did not worsen her anxiety like it did mine. However, she said that it lowered her blood pressure too much and she felt faint. I think her blood pressure is usually normal.

Anyone know why this is happening and what she could do about it? I told her that I dilute my cannabis, so she could try that, but i also told her I'd ask and see if anyone knew what this was about and if she should push through and try.

:thanks::Namaste:

I'm so glad she's seeing improvements!!! Interesting about the appetite, though. I felt a huge dip in my appetite when I first tried the full dose of my cannabis.

Maybe it will level out? Otherwise, I second protein shakes. Maybe make super delicious, high calorie smoothies with protein powder. If you make a "milk" with warm water and plain coconut flakes, sweetened with fresh dates, that is quite a bit of calories - you can keep the pulp in or drain it out - I leave it in to make it easy. Then add high calorie fruits and a good, tasty protein powder. I use Sunwarrior Protein - Vanilla or Chocolate. Maybe sneak in some veggies, so she gets nutrition, but too many veggies ruin the taste for me. Mine end up tasting like ice cream, especially if I use frozen bananas.

So, I will fill the blender with two or three cups of slightly warm water, a half cup of coconut flakes, and 2 or 3 medjool dates, then blend that really well. Then I will add a mixture of thawed and frozen fruit until it's as thick or thin as I want, plus as many servings of the protein powder as you want.

EXCEPT - if the bowels are an issue, coconut will.... make you go. So soaked nuts will work, too. I used to use raw goat's milk, and that gives nutrition and calories. But if she has RA, milk may be reactive, depending. I'd only do raw, though.

Making any of your soup, rice, grains, etc with a homemade bone broth instead of water will automatically add some calories and extra nutrition to any meal. A lot of people even enjoy just drinking bone broth. To me, that's gross, but others love it :).

Good luck!

Thanks Sara.. she's eating a bit more the past day or so.

I'm not sure she's willing to even try a smoothie or shake. I'll make one for myself and see if she's tempted.:cheesygrinsmiley:

We were just reviewing her progress on the Bio Bombs this afternoon, and she is definitely making progress.... slow, but progress. Today she had a lot of pain, so I made up a couple of bowls of Pink Lizard, and she took another Bio Bomb, so now she's got greatly reduced pain, she's flying high, and I expect she's gonna sleep soon.

Magnus8;3242720 I am wondering because I want to know whether or not the CCO I plan to make whenever my grow is finished could be smoked. Yes said:
Magnus, you can avoid the carcinogens and toxic elements by vaporising your weed. That's what we do, My wife takes the Bio Bombs for ongoing pain and inflammation and healing, but there are times like today when her pain is bad and so she uses the vaporiser with a high THC strain, and it kills or reduces the pain right away... within 5 minutes.

That said, we also have an oil vaporiser that we can use for further instant relief.

Hope this helps

Be well

Danolo - Just make it look pretty and thick, like excellent ice cream. It works for kids! It should work on a woman, too.

SOOOOOOOOO...... Last night and today, I tried to take a full, undiluted drop of my CBD oil. Um. Nope, nope, and NOPE.

The 1/5 dilution is working well, but I am ready to increase. So I'll just do it super slow - next batch will be 1/4. I didn't think the jump would be too high - I went from 1/10 dilution to 1/5 without much issue. But, apparently, my body refuses to make anything too simple and fun.

I wanted to be able to take an undiluted drop before I started the oil with THC again. I'm still putting off starting it. I'm just scared.

The good news is that at this rate, 1 bottle of oil is going to last me 87 years, so I don't need to worry about cost :)
