Man that looks delicious!!!Wedding Cheesecake, slow and low
Hope everyone is smoking the best and feeling the best they can.
That's the one you quadlined? Did you too it too?Not a bad harvest on the WCC, more dense than I thought.
944 g wet/semi trimmed
biggest clump (88 g) pictured, but lots of solid 50+ branches. Pleasantly surprised and fuck this downstairs smells good!
Not a pro, but..,I think you want to harvest a cbd plant right at the beginning of the harvest window, like when you see the first few amber trichs. You don't want the CBD degrading at all if you can avoid it.Maybe one of you pros will know.
This one I left 6 branches instead of 4, but trained it just like a quad basically (hexline?) and not sure if it helped the yield but I'm happy with it.That's the one you quadlined? Did you too it too?
That's kind of what I had heard, that it's never really too early for the CBD. It's stickier than the damn Gelato right now so it's definitely going to be potent. It would work out fine if it went in to dry right after this WCC, GelatOG #1 will be right after. Sticky time is good time. I'm thinking Sunday/Monday maybe now, so it will probably get it's last water tomorrow morning. Not a pro, but..,I think you want to harvest a cbd plant right at the beginning of the harvest window, like when you see the first few amber trichs. @Heavenly Hybrid just harvested a bunch of cbd, maybe she'll chime in with a little harvest advice...
Your Dr.S looks Sweet! They definitely want to be big plants-
I just went back and looked at what you did....pretty awesome. I may do one quadlined and one 13Goddy styleThis one I left 6 branches instead of 4, but trained it just like a quad basically (hexline?) and not sure if it helped the yield but I'm happy with it.
I always top it (I wanna say 14 days ish on this one) Just make sure it's growing not struggling when you do. Those things will power right through it if they are being treated right. I laughed when my first auto switched to flower at 21 days and it was like 7 inches tall- When it was done it was touching the light and I had 7oz dry. They do everything between 30 days and the END of their life. Don't over groom them. Top, then like a week later train, then leave them alone except tucking branches inward and tucking leaves so all the heads get light at first. With the lux meter mine usually say they like around 55k at the top when they are starting to flower. MegaCrop does all the rest of the work, really.I just went back and looked at what you did....pretty awesome. I may do one quadlined and one 13Goddy style
Do you too them too? I'm seeing mixed suggestions on topping autos
Good to have you here! This is what I’m looking at, this is from right inside a flowerHi @13goody13 & papa @carcass
You guys are right on the money, cbd plants you’ll want to harvest at cloudy trichs. If you’re seeing some ambers on the bracts, it’s timber time!! Especially with one like this with such a heavy cbd ratio, 30:1. Now I need to go back and see what’s been happenin here!
It’s great to be surrounded by people who know the right answers. Thanks so much!Oh yes, chop chop lil onion!!
It’s always harder to tell so zoomed in, if thats a little leaf or the calyx. But even if it were a leaf, the number of ambers I’m seeing would make me feel confident that she’s good to go. Congrats on the upcoming harvest! If she’s anything like mine - get your trimmers ready! Lol, so leafy!!!Good to have you here! This is what I’m looking at, this is from right inside a flower

Looking at this makes me second guess myself. You sure do have lots of new pistils coming in here. Need to go back further before I chime in I guess!!The Dr S got moved into the 2x3 tent all by itself because well, it’s big. I changed it’s lighting schedule last week to 11/13 and this plant that was already starting to mature early now looks like it could be finished soon- like in the next week, which would put her a few weeks early. The branches are heavy and leaning now. Have not checked trichomes but also have never grown a 30:1 CBD so I’m not even sure if it ambers up the same. Maybe one of you pros will know. I’m only going to veg her clone for 3 more weeks, I don’t need her taking up this much room.
Edit- checked thrichomes and they are an interesting mix of amber tips and clear but not milky. Going by pistils changing like 80% in the past few days I kind of figured it would be closer. I’m going to give it at least a week and check again, same as I would tell anyone else. She’s pretty that’s for sure.
I apologize for the deceiving pics. Most of the new pistil growth has stopped and everything began to red up heavily in the last few days. If you say wait, I’m fine with giving it a few more days.Looking at this makes me second guess myself. You sure do have lots of new pistils coming in here. Need to go back further before I chime in I guess!!
Right? The dance I dance is wanting to see more than is really there, which is why I’d rather trust you guys. It’s a lot of fresh pistils there. Ahh, this harvest dance we dance! I don’t know if it will help, but here’s what my trichs, etc. looked like when I harvested my Dr. S.
Do you have some more trich pics you can put up?
