Stinky Snid's Nursery & Flower Shop - Welcome To My Perpetual Adventure

Speaking of food, the cheese and Bubblegum have been harvested. Unfortunately no pics were taken due to inlaws and stinkiness factor. They're all trimmed and hanging in the top of the tent. Bad news is that the tent Rh is low 40s to 30%, they've been in there two days and already crispy. The cheese a little less so since I had them trimmed last. I de-stemmed the Bubblegum and jarred it with 4or5 b52 packs each. I'll be burping them 5 times a day. The moisture has already come back some and I will try to maintain a stable Rh in the jars. As for the cheese I am thinking the same procedure. Any advice on drying in low Rh and the following curing would be helpful (:thanks: ShiggityFlip). Also, since the two large pots were vacated the liberty Haze and a skywalker Kush have been happily situated therein. Watered with root tribe's and placed into the 12/12 tent. Proper update is upcoming in the next few days when I have a better idea of the overall dry weight of my latest harvest. Till then...

Hey snid try washing them

Can I wash them once their already dry? They've been hanging since sunday/Monday. The Bubblegum is doing well with my 5 time a day breathing of the jars. Rh is between 50 and 70% in the jars, depending on my opening them. Cheese is taking a little longer to dry, I've turned the fan down and put in a humidifier. I just don't have the ability to use my drying box due to smell. Winter harvests suck, it's too dry all the time.

KiG :green_heart:cheers

I would try a few buds washed to try and slow the dry. And cycle the fan times. My last grow dried too fast and I added 1 water pillow to each jar and rolled them around to circulate the moisture each day. I keep lizard humidity meters in each jar and burped accordingly. I think the last batch has a better buzz than the green does. My struggle in the winter is temps. Cold being the issue. My new box doesn't have room for both girls, a humidifier and a heater so I turn the fan down for lights out. With my seedling mat it only keeps dark temps at 66/68

You just add a leaf of Iceberg salad in the jar ( moist and no smell) or lemon/orange peel. (moist with light sent of either)
Doesn't lettuce wilt and rot when it's warm. In my drying cabinet I have 2 PC fans 1 for intake and 1 for exhaust. At Walmart they had carbon packs for Aquarius so I taped 1 over each fan and cycle fan times 1 hr on and 2 off...No smell and a nice dry time

:cheertwo:December 28th,"Weekly Update" :cheertwo:

Let's start with a harvest report. Both Marylou (cheese) and Maude (Bubblegum) have been chopped. They did not get perpetual darkness prior to harvest. I had to do my trimming out in the non insulated garage, temps around 0°c. Bubblegum was trimmed within a few hours and hung in the auto tent. Unfortunately the cheese sat in the cold overnight and until I finished trimming it all. This was necessary for stealthy stink free harvest while the inlaws are still visiting. So far so good! :) like I mentioned before, its drying too fast in the tent, so I've taken it to jars(with boveda packsx4) already and will burp them steady for a couple weeks. So in lieu of that I will wait to get a more accurate dry weight from these two beauties.

Notes ~
So far this skywalker is doing just fine, I have seen a few mini "possible calyxes" but no pistils yet. At this point I would like to see a male. Possibly pollinate my atomic bomb and Haze and Leia. Mmmmm that would be nice:) Training continues to the pots edge, and now it awaits a transplant. (only if it's a female, male will stay in this pot)

Time is nearing for this girls harvest. Her buds feel a little light and fluffy, but there are some denser ones aswell. She's will be getting chopped by weeks end. I'll start defoliation soon to minimize my trim time since I'll be doing it in the cold again.

Notes ~
Crazy Ole Margy has some serious trichomes developing. The small sugar leaves are already coated in trichomes. My favourite part is the main cola, it's a huge amount of budsites crammed in a stalky stalk. She's also developing a pleasant aroma, not too Stinky but still weedy. The older she gets the less corkscrewish she looks. Her stem is elongating and dissipating the curves.

Notes ~
Haze-L is growing rapidly now, the transplant doesn't seem to have slowed her down. Healthy and green, and on her second night of 12/12 she has lots of potential. I've got several pistils emerging. Also, it's almost time to let her go vertical, but Making sure to keep the Colas level.

Notes ~
Leia suffered two broken growth tips during the transplant. I taped them up but they don't seem to be surviving. I'll find another one to take their place... Apart from that her training is continuing as before. Just waiting for the secondary growth to build some momentum and I'll let her go vertical too. Confirmed pistils in two locations, Leia skywalker officially. A timely tribute to Carrie Fischer... :Namaste:

Happy Holidays and it looks smelly in there :) You couldn't get a better Christmas gift than that
Happy new year Angrybird! Congrats on the final motm of the year. All your hard work and love for the community has proved that you're a valued member here. Thanks for everything Birdy :Namaste:

Hey Snid.....:high-five:
Oh hell yeah!! You go it... :high-five: always a pleasure Dirt, thanks for the visit brother. Happy new year :Namaste:

So much happened while I was away but I was applauding from afar my friend. Your story of resilience will nurture these plants . to success. Very much like the corkscrew, you have to bend over backwards to reach the top. 420 hugs . not bugs .
I glad your super migraines have receded some. Hope you had a Merry Christmas in any case and I'll wish you a happy new my dear. :circle-of-love:

Hi Snid. Great update. WWs are coming back nicely, especially Amethyst. Marge is a jungle in a single plant. :thumb:
She is definitely making a jungle out herself. I can't believe the explosion of growth since flower, since she took so long to veg. Autos will do just fine in the end, a slight lemony Odor is noticeable upon opening the tent.

What's up Snid, champion cannabis plant arm-wrestler?
Just keeping it green Growchy, you know how it is... The best way to win at plant arm wrestling is to keep up to date on your training. Glad you came and stopped by, happy new years Growchy! :Namaste:

:cheertwo:December 31st Update :cheertwo:

Final harvest report for Bubblegum and the Cheese. Bubblegum comes in at 88g@±50%rh. Cheese comes in at 96g@±55%rh. I've got all the buds inside jars with either a big b62 pack or 4 small ones in each jar. I've consistently burped/left open the jars to initiate a good cure. Early smoke samples are surprisingly not that harsh and is already tasty. Especially the :) Cheese :) I've only tried a few small nugs of each and so far it's great.
Let's get on to the update...

Notes ~
Still no preflowers, off set nodes have begun so it shouldn't be long. I've spotted a couple potential preflowers but no definitive pistil or pod yet. I need to vacate the larger pot just in case it's another female. Training had reached its limits for the larger main stems, so a this point I'm waiting for preflower signs. If it's a male I'll lift the root ball out and put 3" of fresh medium under it. Which will raise up the plant to be more manageable.

Lol... See for yourselves, from rags to riches for these gals. From an early struggle and retarded bloom time, these girls are all going to produce a fair amount. At least an Oz each. A couple minor issues to deal with upon next feeding, but all in all the growth looks excellent.

Notes ~
When I started this challenge it was out of curiosity, could a plant handle that kind of stress and produce... We're finding out aren't we? It's like each side is a bouquet of buds and budsites. There's 4 main bouquets, while everything else fills in the middle or is bursting out the side. That mainstem bud is going to fill in so much, I can't wait to see it stack up. She got a feeding today including more bud ignitor and BigBud.

Notes ~
This Haze is in a hurry to extend her reach. Internodes are getting a bit too wide, but that should stop soon. I'll be giving both Haze-L and Leia a feeding in 2-3 days which will include another dose of bud ignitor. Training adjustments have stopped and I am only doing minor replacement of stakes if they are obstructive to growth. Foliage is healthy and she's got a few mini pistils popping. Won't be long before she's got some buds a plenty.

Notes ~
As for Leia, other than her two broken shoots she is doing great. I'll control the Stretch a few more days as to let some of the smaller inner shoots to grow more. They will hopefully be able to keep up with the mains. So every stake was readjusted and I do some careful defoliation of down facing leaves under the canopy.

Congrats snid awesome harvest. All the girls look great. I don't know how you do it that's alot of girls to babysit at once. Awesome job brother
It was easier when I took notes, since I my inlaws have been here and since I lost my job it's been extra tough to do it right. No more notes for now, I just feel each pot every day and determine who needs what. I'll feed one then come back a few hours later and feed another, as to not spend excessive time in my lab which may get suspicious after a while. Harvests are even tougher to deal with, especially that Stinky ass cheese. Anyways it's done and it tastes amazing... So does the Bubblegum, together its 6oz of top notch buds :yahoo: with a PAexpress ready for chop in the next couple days. And a handful of autos set to finish in a couple weeks. Thanks for being brother, happy new year!

HI Snid :hugs:
Happy New Year
Oh hi there Angrybird, new years :hugs: for you. Congrats on the spiffy title, you've earned it.
