April 21st, Daily Update
Happy day after 420 day... Busy work day and lots of work to do in the lab. All systems nominal in both tents, it's starting to get Stinky in the auto tent. I'm used to the low Odor northern lights, these new autos stink. Oh well I need to live up to my nickname, eh? :blunt: let's get to the pics.

Notes ~ Lucy is moving on to leaf set #3, kalua is steady at 5% amber. The younguns are still not showing pistils, this is a good strain. Ariel and Ty are solid little bonsai. And the we've got a splendid sized and healthy Alani who also is feeling fine after her flushing. Leialoha also feeling and looks even better since the flush.

Feedings -
Haha no feedings today :)

Notes ~ ok so Ellabella got her last major initial flower defoliation. I waited until the flowers were formed and I've removed most of her underbelly. Including a few clones (wish me luck). Mandy and Renee are not showing flowers yet but pistils are just starting to show now. They all have been turning towards my mini Sun so I've been rotating them around 1/3 turn every time I checked on them.

That's all folks, see you tomorrow...
:ciao:
Thanks for stopping by the shop.

What a very nice garden you have Snid. Very nice indeed.
Love the plant names too.

Cheers
Welcome to my adventure Ditchweed, find a spot to roll a joint and get to passing... You're more than welcome to stay a while. The names keep the spirits alive for all eternity, long after they've been consumed, they'll be known as they were..
*as an example below shows, Mssinful refers to chloe, not as the strain I grew 8 month ago. If she said the strain I'd have to search for it, but I knew exactly when Chloe fit in to the mix.. by birth/harvest sequence. *

I love harvest time. GrateJob with the stealth on the cheeze. An inspiration to all stealth grows.

Cheers:cheertwo:
Many thanks Keltic, it's a wonder I was able to pull it off. I had been pulling it out of the tent for updates, maybe 5 minutes at a time... And I was told that my mother in law thought there was a dead animal downstairs. So I was extremely quick with the exposure times outside the Tents during and after (hanging) harvest. No mention of smell from anyone, stealth success:high-five:

I contacted CS at CKS and they told me to switch the lights to 12/12.
I answered this on your thread Lupey, but to recap, I'd go with what CKS recommends. They know their strains and their possible weaknesses. I'm sure it's not the first time, I just wonder if you need to keep it at 12/12 or can you initiate flower then return to your regular schedule. Let us know, very weird and informative.

I see what you mean about my pots now. I do like you have the screws around the rim.
What are those white and black things your using to tie down Chloe?
Those screws come in handy once you've extended past the pots rim. Up until I can tie them down with garden ties, to answer your next question, I use regular 14ga coated wire to stake them. I get a 6' roll and cut it down to whatever size I need. 14/3 wire equals 3 wires per cut too, So it's pretty economical...

Mmm mmm mmm cheeeeeeeze!!!:passitleft:
:tokin:

Nice work snid as usual...keep on rockin brother..peace.
Guess who's back, it's oldschool with his oldschool username... Glad to hear the big ado is in the past, there's lots more opportunity for that. Appreciate you making your stop here first, I'll be rocking it till the wheels fall off brother. :thumb:

Nice looking garden. I wish I would have found this sooner....mind if I still sit

Anywhere you can squeeze in friend, feel free to look back in the journey log for some great reading. Or at least that's what I hear... Lol. Lots of pics and lots of ladies, glad you found the garden.:passitleft: that will get you started... Enjoy,

:cheertwo: January 6th Weekly Update :cheertwo:

It's been exactly a week since the last update, it's been pretty normal around here. I have harvested my PAexpress Felicity on Tuesday. A very disappointing harvest it seems, only one jar full... I'm expecting 2oz or so, it doesn't look like much more than that. But it stinks and it's sticky. The deficiency throughout her life made her buds a little light and fluffy. Also I removed 99% of the popcorn which I usually keep since I'm not selling and it's all for my own use. I'm hoping I won't be as little as I think, but we'll see. Enjoy the update, here we go...

Notes ~
All in all these 5 ladies are coming out splendidly. Some have a strong lemony aroma and others have a sweet Weedy odor. I am feeding them all as per the schedule, no more variations since they've all turned the corner from their various issues. Topaz is in the lead, the others are about a week behind. It's looking like 2 weeks for Topaz and closer to 3 for the rest. Minor defoliation of dead or dying leaves is a regular practice these days. They all got full bloom nutes yesterday and will be moving on to final bloom phase next feeding.

Notes ~
The thing with crazy Ole Margy is that she had no restraints since flowering started. She was entirely free to do whatever she wanted. I only pulled down the mainstem to keep it all level, she did the rest on her own. A perfect pupil for the vigours of Jedi training, but she may have turned to the dark side due to neglect. With such little time to spare it's a wonder she turned out so amazingly monstrous. She smells like that fake watermelon flavour smell...Delicious!

Notes ~
The way of the Haze is much like the way of the Jedi. Control and focus is essential, her stretch is not so bad yet. I'm expecting a higher amount of stretch since she's a sativa dominant strain. Her training is continuing as to keep her under control in this crucial stretch period. Pistils have appeared at most budsites, it's time for some flowers.. Eh. She got fed again with initial flower nutes including the root tribe, BudIgnitor as well as a ½ dose of Xfactor and BudCandy

Notes ~
My super Duper Jedi Leia is officially in flower mode now, pistils are popping from all major growth tips. Training is continuing as per usual, I've allowed the smaller shoots to extend to the same height as the mains. Now it's just a waiting game for her to stop stretching. She's gotten a second feeding of the whole root tribe and BudIgnitor along with an initial ½ dose of BigBud, BudCandy and Xfactor. I sure am looking forward to seeing some skywalker buds...

Notes ~
This little Jedi wannabe is starting to stretch. I'm positive I saw pistils the other day but I can't locate them anymore. I have dubbed this skywalker, Rey, like the chick in episode 7 of star wars. Training continues as she is just reaching the edge of the pot now. Pistils or not I've committed to it flowering to its full potential. If it pollinate everything in my tent... I'll be super stoked to get many many free premium seeds. But like I said I'm sure it's a girl. Uppotted and fed she's set for launch... Let's wait and see.

I hope the new years brings many joyful days and lots of laughes with friends and family. Happy New Year my 420 family...
