Stinky Snid's Nursery & Flower Shop - Welcome To My Perpetual Adventure

Good to see their past the nitrogen overdose, it doesnt seem to have hurt them in the long run. Watching your girls grow up has been a real learning experience for me.

Glad to hear that my mistakes might help someone down the line. These plants are very determined to grow in any condition. I think if I hadn't flushed them twice, I would have lost a couple. But ya, they're flowering now and it's looking promising. I've had zero time to tend on them hand and foot like usual, no daily preening and I miss it. Thanks for the visit Pennywise,

snid I feel your pain with the deficiencys but u got a lot more plants to deal with, but that bubblegum is looking awesome. I also have a buddy who is near harvest with some skywalker og's and boy do they look frosty and smell nice!

i have confidence you will be able to get those autos to harvest. flushing was probly what they needed.

Oh and atomic bomb is looking like its gonna live up to its name! lol
At nearly 30 bucks a seed I hope it's the best weed I ever smoked. Im planning on using pollen from them if there is a male. I want to turn every strain into Jedi hybrids... The atomic bomb is literally exploding with growth right now. It's controlled chaos under the canopy:thumb: thanks for the support Xave,

The seedlings are doing very well. Training is continuing as they stretch for the edges of the pot. Transplant for the youngest of the 3, final pot for that one. The other two will get the pits that Marylou and Felicity are in. Not much to update on the older two, just keeping it green like their suppose to.

Lol, it's such a rollercoaster for these 5 ladies. They're all at different stages of flower now, and all have different personal issues. I've been doing my best to regulate these issues and mitigate their effects. Judge for yourselves which are doing better and which are still struggling. It's fairly evident... Amethyst stinks horrible, in a bad way this time. Not sure what is causing her to stink like that.

Marylou who, is losing her luster. The yellowing has begun, I'm pulling out all the fan leafs now. The sugar leafs can stay until harvest.. These buds are so heavy, the whole stalks has major sag spots from the weight. I've propped up some of the worse ones. Also no amber trichomes on her either... Won't be long.

Felicity could probably have been a much bulkier gal if she hadn't locked out magnesium extremely early in her life. Her snowcapped buds are so weird, *is that white bud still smokable? * She got her last feeding today, flush should coincide with the other two photos.

Oh! My! God! This plant is superb. Rock solid buds, trichomes up the ying yang, and an aroma that resembles the tastiest candy you've ever tried. No amber trichomes yet to found, lots of cloudy though. I've given her that last taste of overdrive, her flush will start next weekend or when she becomes dry which ever comes 1st.

Notes ~
I started removing some of the mini growth from within the spiral. Too much foliage crammed in there it was starting to die off. She has gotten two feedings of bloom initiator nutes (bud ignitor) and is also getting the whole root tribe. I'm thinking I should have up potted her before flower, but it too late now. But, If she gets root bound then I'll have to make emergency transplant in mid flower which would likely result in reduced yield or worse...hermies. So since I've really got no choice, I'll just keep her fed since she's drinking 2 litres a day right now.

And that's another update for you all, hope you're enjoying the late bloom photoperiods, till next time...

Lookin good snid as usual imho your over do for a good defoliation all the way around the ww auto looks imho to be over watered maybe I've just never seen nitrogen deficiency look like that rather take that affect on a plant. Again jmho and looks like your close to a harvest huh? That's always good. I harvested Crystal and Star this am pics are up in my journal check me out keep up the great work brother

Ohioboy can't stop!! Ohioboy With Fast Buds - Let's See How Fast Exactly

Plants look great as always, except maybe Amethyst. She doesn't look much like a white widow to me. Hmm...

I think you'd be okay up potting Marge now even though you're putting her into flower. I repotted a couple plants I was rushing into flower to fill opening in my tent (from 1 gal to 2 gal). Within 1 week I saw white root tips sticking out of smart pots. 4-5 weeks into flower they are doing as well as other plants except a little smaller, but similar stretch and same level of bud development. I've tried a few weeks in and that didn't go so well, but this early I think would be fine.

Emerald and Topaz look really nice. And of course that Bubblegum is mouthwatering. Nice job!!
 Bubblegum  isn't she marvellous, thanks very much cannaruss :Namaste:

I'll come check that out asap. As for the widow of misery there, it definitely wasn't over watered. I had some hot soil that skewed their entire seedling stage. I flushed once and most recovered fine. Amethyst hadn't been that bad off and was the pick of the litter, so she only had one flush while the rest got 2. Sure enough that came back to bite me a couple weeks later when flowering started and nitrogen was still tolerable but very high. As she progressed into flower she got super droopy, not leaves but the entire stalks were totally lifeless... Reading up on toxicities I determined that the one thinh that could cause weak stems is excess nitrogen and therefore did a good flush and topped it off with a few litres of mild bloom only solution. And now we're in recovery.

Hope that tidbit of info comes in handy to folks that may experience the same issues. Although rare, alot of people are using hot soils that could lead to toxicity of any kind in young plants especially autos. **

Thanks ohioboy, you're thoughts are greatly appreciated my friend. Now off to check on your harvest results.

Are you using carboload with marge as well?
Whenever I put in any of the root tribe, I always add Carboload. If you don't have that, then use BudCandy which has some carbohydrates aswell, and the magnesium in it will be beneficial too. Got to keep those microbes fed :thumb:

The autos are quite the varying bunch, they all had difficulty in their early days. Just getting them to harvest has already proved to be a task. Marge will stay in that pot, IMO, it's too late. Flowers have started and roots are nearly done growing. At the same time, lol, I've had to water her the past two days... She's getting 2 litres a day, my Rh is in the low 30s though. Anyway she's on the road to monster buds, can't wait.. :thanks:

Looking good brother! Been tagging along for the ride. I'll be sticking around for the magic. :thumb:
From one brother to another, welcome Ched... Lol i can't believe you put Jedi Master Stinky Snid  That's hilarious, but true. Get rigorous Jedi training, does all my ladies receive. Teach padewons such training, only a master can. :)
Anything that needs clarification, don't be shy, it'll benefit everyone. Glad to have you here on the forums mun, you'll get tons of help.

Here's a link to brother Ched's new journal, hope you all can visit and lend a few ideas if needed.

Thanks everyone, glad you all are here to share the adventure.

Haze-L IS spreading her wings quite nicely. She's starting up with her secondary growth. Luke and Haze-L got up potted today, which was long overdue. Luke is keeping the pace for these three, it is stretching to the new pots edge already. I'll make a slight turn of the mainstalks to create a swastika like pattern as they continue to grow. Leia is ready to explode, training is going well and she has got the extra node compared to her stable mates. I think my prediction for their sexes is possibly true, the one growing faster is likely a male and the smaller more compact one is to be girl. Imo. Let's just wait and see...

All these widows have now turned the corner and are in full flower mode. They all have had problems, but as you can see its not always the end of the world for them. I may have lost some yield due to less growth time, but they are putting out some nice looking stalks ready to get filled with buds. I'm very happy that I was finally able to get them all straightened out in time for flower. I'm guessing 5 more weeks to finish.

My Stinky cheese is just about ripe! :yahoo::high-five::yahoo: I've been waiting a long time for this little lady. Notes ~
This plant has such a different aroma than most of what I've grown. It's a hard hitting skunky but very acute to the olfactory nerves. It's going to be some spicy hitting Weed if I were to guess. Her buds look like snow caped mountains, I've never seen buds like this. But they're solid and of decent size so I'm happy. She's not showing much amber compared to the other two, I'll be feeding her once more with overdrive.

This impeccable beauty is the star of the grow. Such a good stance and size, she is a great example of my training regiment for photoperiods. I don't grow them as big as I could but they sure do fill out nice. The trichomes on this one are almost reflective, I swear I could see myself in the crystals. Lol... Maybe I was just too medicated. Flushed her tonight and will start the countdown to harvest...

And then there was Marge... A cooked little lady that is destined to shine. She's is continuing to explode with growth all over. Many smaller shoots are reaching around the canopy to become exposed. I've been steadily picking off the minuscule growths tips around the bottom, clearing up some angles so we can finally see her corkscrew. It has definitely elongated and therefore lessened the curvature but she is quite the winding one. I'm going to get a solid main cola for sure, the stem at the end is thicker than my finger already. Lots of juices going through there...lets go Margy!

It's been another adventurous week for me and ladies, glad I'm still able to share my time with you all..

I wasn't aware of the nitrogen problem you had or the problems it causes in flower. Great info to have.:thanks:
The one things that forces you to learn is major mistakes. I had gotten overzealous with my amendments which created a hit and hostile environment for the whole crop. I recognized early that issues were related to toxicity and lock out due to such levels of macro nutes. Each had a different level of nitrogen overdose, but all made it to flower despite my best efforts to kill them. :) thanks for stopping by k.rabbi :Namaste:

The thing with growing so many amazing strains of top knotch buds is that you smoke alot of top knotch amazing buds. I've got about 4 weeks supply left from the last round. Easy come easy go... as they say. I'll make it till this round is ready, which is my goal. I've bought one bag of weed last April (due to a mouldy bitch), other than that I've been self sustained for over a year. So the big jars are sitting empty awaiting the fresh homegrown harvest to come.
 I guess you're waiting till next year to burn that yuletide log of yours  great showing oldschool, :bravo:

Felicity turned out great Snid, definitely my favourite of the flowering bunch. Have a great day further and keep it airie :passitleft:
Yes sir, Felicity has been a joy to watch. Although her deficiency had been throughout her life she managed to come out great. Never seen white buds like that, I'm sure it's due to the magnesium def. Stinky and green w/some white caps... Just fine for Ole Stinky Snid. Good to see ya Pat, :thanks:

Thanks G2heal, you are my hero when it comes to inspirational words. You are a blessing to me and the community. Shruum and Lupey, thank you aswell. I've started an overnight job and I am close to a few other jobs to fill the gaps too. Hoping to be reset by the new year, if only prayers could be answered, not a very Christmas like atmosphere at Stinky Snid's place... But with family and friends it should be enough to get me a tid bit jolly. What a dreary last quarter of the year... Only thing keeping me sane is the garden and it's inhabitants. :thanks:

Growers note : Marylou and Maude have both been flushed and are on the way to harvest. Felicity got a little overdrive and sensizym. And Marge is on her way to becoming a cannabis wonder.... Have a relaxing Sunday y'all.
