Stinky Snid's Nursery & Flower Shop - Welcome To My Perpetual Adventure

November 10th, Daily Update
Hey all, happy you to bring you an update finally. I've spent every daylight minute out in the bush, then to come home to have the inlaws here. Needless to say I've not had much time for 420 updates and most of all not enough time with my struggling autos. I've started a few more sprouts. I'm giving two away as Christmas gifts, and I'll be adding one more to make 4 plants for the next run.
From the top left we have liberty haze, skywalker Kush, critical Kush, and og skunk.
20161109_190558.jpg

I will give the two extreme indica and sativa sprouts away and they can clone whichever they want. I'm hoping that my skywalker Kush is a Luke instead of a Leia. I've not had good success with germination so far, 1 for 3:(

As far as major problems go, none have appeared in the past week of mild neglect. So let's take a look at what the girls have been up to...

Hey snid I read somewhere this could be a deficiency of some sort or from the led? Any suggestions?

And this is Jezebel at same time

They look pretty healthy, to me it looks like a genetic issue. Mutants from cropking is not uncommon, but they usually come out fine. She'll work out those kinks if my diagnosis is correct. If anyone has further ideas of the cause please help brother Lupey out :thumb:

Hey Snid!! Looking great in the garden lately. I haven't been around much in the past couple of weeks but I got caught up on the last few updates and can't believe the difference from the last time I was in here.. That corkscrew has really turned around! *pun intended haha* Plants are wonderful looking and healthy though bud, you sure know what you're doing over there. I see you were sort of thinking about sticking to 1 strain for a bit, it would be cool to see you do a big SOG grow and just pack one tent.

I know exactly what you mean about not having enough time lately to tend to the garden properly, I am to blame for the same thing. I see a lot of your time away is for the hunting purposes though, hope you get that buck you're looking for, best of luck taking the shot :) I have to wait til Nov. 20th, that's when our rifle season open for white-tail, runs til Dec 2nd I think. Archery and muzzleloader season was over Nov 1st. I will be looking for a nice buck this year, last year I went for the meat. If I don't find one lets hope for a fat doe!

I have a couple of packages coming in next week.. 1 being a new led panel :) I will send you a pm, just got a couple questions before I get it started up.

Great job in here man, keep up the great work!! Best of luck with hunting season.

Life keeps us busy sometimes brother no need for an apology I get it trust me lol thanks for your help I got it. It was calcium and or magnesium All better now

Hey OB, I've got a slew of photos and graphs in my blog section that'll help with diagnosing in the future. Feel free to steal them same as I did. :)

Professional and dedicated growing going on over here. Freakin killing it as usual. I don't know how you have the time to put that much work into your posts. I know it isn't said very much, but I, as a grower, appreciate the hard work you put into your journal. Keep it up buddy!
Did you check out my potm entry yet? :)

Marge is my favorite plant on 420 right now. Last week I wanted to release the wires and watch her unwind. This week it looks like she's actually exploding! Fun to watch. Thank you.

Edit: and she's Atomic Bomb. Don't know how I missed that until now.
My pleasure KingstonRabbi, happy to hear that Marge is getting the audience she deserves. It's quite the endeavour, but it's been fun so far. I'm going to let her veg until these sprouts are ready for flower. So another 6 weeks. She'll make 420 proud, you'll see. And,shes definitely trying to get big put I keep suppressing her limbs. :Namaste:

Life keeps us busy sometimes brother no need for an apology I get it trust me lol thanks for your help I got it. It was calcium and or magnesium All better now
That's good to hear ohioboy, little rust spots are easy to remedy. Good job brother :thumb: I'll try and take a peek at your journal later, thanks for the visit :Namaste:

Hey Dick, thanks for the wishes of good luck. I'm going to need it. No doe tag this year:( I'll get back to your pm/question tonight. LEDs :high-five: here we go...

I certainly appreciate the kind words 4x4grow, more than you think. The posts take about an hour so as you can tell I've not had the time to do updates of late. And That's after an hour with the girls...

KiG Everyone :green_heart:cheers

Haley is definitely a beast. Marge looks like she's responding very nicely. This time of the year is kind of hard for gardening priorities when you live in the northern regions. There is so much to do to prepare for the winter. But after Thanksgiving outside priorities are pretty much over and its time to tuck in for a long dreary winter

Not a problem bud! What province are ya from? (If you don't mind me asking) Here in Saskatchewan most of the zones you can pick your prize, doe or buck, don't have to buy specific tag. Some zones have an antlerless only season I think. So different right across Canada with all the different rules and regulations. Nov 20th and I will be out getting mine, maybe the 21st lol.. Gotta get the .308 out and fire a few round thru before then haha

No rush on the reply my friend, I know you are busy as am I.. I am impatiently waiting the arrival of that led panel even if I'm not going to have plants under it right away haha, I just want to see it turn on!

Hey Off the grid Snid, how are yah?

Just wanted to tell you that I walked into weed store today and bought shhhtuff without my medical card but I did show ID to prove I'm over 19, which flatters me anyways in my old age, and shopped for goods. It was my first full service ( no paperwork) storefront experience and it was very clean too.

Good prices on accessories but I would say they have a 20% markup from compassion clinics. Buuut, as personal growers, we bypass any markup really. Right?

It was the first time I recognized more than half the strains which is good for me. I evaluated color, density and harvest outcome.

I have to say that reading your journal is retraining my brain and showing the positive effects in other scenarios. Not having anxiety because I know a great deal of information to peruse thus far. I was more of a connoisseur.

This brain stuff has been a test of my will, but slowly I am seeing progress which symbolizes hope. That's all I need to keep growing and going.

The freedom that growing gives to someone with a brain disease, is like playing music for patients suffering from dementia; hope!

It was a confidence booster I needed but didn't know I needed until I left there thinking, I recognize everything. So yah, great confirmation that I'm on the right track...thanks to your kindness;)

Random act of gratefullness...

Now back to your regularly scheduled pot programming...;)

You got it Lupey, just a few more days of hard hunting around here then it'll be the odd bow hunt before Christmas. The mallards are coming down now so I may go out again for some waterfowl. As for the plants, Hailey is a bust, I'll explain in my update tonight. Marge is the craziest thing I've done, it's been like 80 days lol... Here's to closing up the hunting season with a good feast, cheers Lupey :Namaste:

You're right on target my friend and close to many fine harvests. Marge looks like she's gonna spring up instantly but she can't, don't let gravity keep you down MARGE..lol.;) ;)
She's is fairly stiff now, I can take out her stakes and she is very "not springy". But it's definitely a cool stalk very thick to say the least, and idk what the undergrowth will do in the end. Here's to the fun of trying... Cheers my dear:Namaste:

Saw the light, very nice brother, very nice. They'll respond well to it I'm sure. Glad I could be of assistance to you, always a pleasure to help a brother out.

Hey there snid, keeping up the good work I see which is awesome. I have been lurking around still watching how things are going, quietly growing out some more green poison here.

Keep it up snid, goodd stuff as always :)
Lurking is just fine by me Sir Partimus, just watch the show and see them grow. Hope that green poison is treating you well, thanks for stopping by to share with us. :Namaste:

Was just catching up on your grow - those are some of the longest buds I've ever seen! Congrats on that - and fine work, as usual!
Thanks very much CMJ, although they're very tall they have literally no substance. I took her down today in protest, she'll get the hash ice treatment for the sake of salvaging something from 150+days for an auto. They're about 3 feet tall with 2 feet of "buds" ridiculous if you ask me, at least for indoors. It's been quite the experience, she had many ups and downs and now I've had it... Hoo hah!

Not much I can say to that my dear, big hugs and hip hip hourray for you. I've been blessed to have made a connection with you through a virtual presence of inspiration and encouragement. :circle-of-love: G2heal :circle-of-love: your brain issues have made it difficult but not impossible, it's been a great journey for me to share. But it's you who are the Bilbo Baggins, I'm just reading the story of the lonely mountain and wishing I could be there to help. It's great to have you here my dear, :Namaste:

November 19th, "Weekly Update"
It's the weekend and it's time for an update. I've got lots to show so I'll get right into it. First up is the new sprouts, from left to right we have the skywalker Kush then the liberty Haze.
20161119_101124.jpg

Then we have the critical Kush and the original skunk that have been uppotted prior to their adoption. They'll be gifted to a great lady so as to make some clones instead of buying them.
20161119_101312.jpg

Then there's the little Stink Widow I had given up on, put outside to die and then she came back to produce. It's been near zero degrees here so she's a little purple but the tiny buds look legitimate to me. This tells me I've got some viable autoflower seeds. :yahoo:

20161119_111309.jpg

As for the main attractions, let's get a look a what the girls have been up to the past week. Jeeze time flies, I've not even had a chance to check the contest threads. Hope you all enjoy this long awaited update.

Notes ~
I've had enough of Hailey, this morning she got the cat tail treatment and was barren stalks in minutes. I just rolled my hand up the stems and ripped off all the foliage. As you can see there's not much to her buds. Top specimen is one of Hailey's and the bottom was from Bailey. Not much to either of them but at least Bailey was bulky. I'm not to fond of this strain anymore, give me some smaller solid buds any day.

I've got widows that are actually looking like they're going to be OK plants. Then I've got some that are struggling to make any major gains. Then there's one that's been broken several times, not the most successful side project I've undertaken. But I'm hoping for some ok flowering time and to get these girls to term. Ruby is missing a picture, she's more like the weaker ones then the stronger. You can see her in the group shot at the back.

This cheese is something to behold, such a Stinky odour... Lovely. The buds are forming well and it's getting frosty. My pineapple Chunk has been deficient since the beginning, I can just imagine if only I had this squared away before flower. This is some pungent smelling dope, a very acute stench. Also lovely... :) the stalks are a little lanky but are holding up for now. I'll likely need to stake them as support.

Ole Margy here has got a big underbelly full of shoots. Not sure what I should be doing with this, it's kind of a half assed effort these days. But she is doing her thing, it's gone over 4 inches further across from the last update. The name tag hasn't moved, if you use that as a reference point. It's still hard to see anything in those pics...

It's almost time for the winter hibernation to begin. There's lots of action ahead, skywalker and liberty Haze to go in with Ole Margy. Till next time, see you all soon...
